Hello, I have a notebook, model Hp pavilion 11-n001nl touchscreen (http://support.hp.com/it-it/document/c04372366)

If I use the touchscreen and I tap on the bar of firefox, the keyboard doesn't pop up.

I'm using now windows 10 but the issue was in windows 8.1 too.

With chrome and I.E. the keyboard works flawlessly.

Could anyone help me?

Thanks.

hi, this is a known issue that's currently worked on by firefox developers. in the meantime as a workaround you could right-click on the windows taskbar & enable the icon to invoke the on-screen keyboard.

Yes, I had enabled the icon previously in the taskbar because this was the only solution but this is quite disturbing. I think this is an old issue and I'm wondering when this problem will be resolved...

fixed in firefox 42 (that's an early alpha build at the moment) - it will take a bit until that fix goes into regular release versions...
