I have saved a lot of shortcuts bookmark on my homepage,yesterday when i opened my firefox,it was all gone and it went back to default homepage. what do i do to recover it.

My laptop glitched while doing a Windows update and it chose to not load certain apps upon completing the update. Mozilla Firefox was one of the apps it chose to delete and I lost all my bookmarks with my login information to all my accounts, can I retrieve those?

I have Windows 11, Firefox yahoo email. I must have clicked somewhere that consolidated all my email to the left in a narrow format. Can't locate where to correct it. Also had no luck attaching a screen shot. Next to the condensed email, is another column that is blank except for the white envelope. Is there a place where I can change the format? Thank you.

I want to change "browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once" preference to true. So I do it in about:config page and if I reaccess this page in another tab within the session, then my value is being kept.

However, when I restart Firefox (thru "Exit" in "File" menu), all previous pages get restored and that preference is "false" again in the config after a new browser start.

Nothing helps.

1. In the past there was a restriction on the suggested number for "network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server". Is that still the case?

2. Does prefs.js contain all the altered about:config settings? Can I safely transfer "prefs.js" to other profiles in attempt to enable all those settings changes, instead of changing them manually, one by one.

I can't stay on this site for very long at all, and do my best to write out what I need as quickly as possible then leave. I would never contribute to answering any questions other then my own because how bright it is will eventually cause me pain.

In my view, it represents an amateurish view on website design and likely has an impact of skewing the regular user base to people that don't mind it.

After masking them with my duck duck go service, I can't find the link to verify my emails. Where can I see any return responses using my mask email?

I can edit my short cuts. One I have added the Name, and the URl, I also have the option to add a custom picture to the square icon for the shortcut. It seems obvious to want, as I do, to "drag and drop" a photo of my choice from my personal collection. For example, when there are multiple shortcuts for the email of each person in the family, their individual photo is a great identifier. As things are now it seems I can only add another URL. I tried to add the URL from a family members Facebook page but it would not accept the link. Can some techno whizzz out there not make "drag and drop" an option? It would be REALLY useful for us all to have the photo of our choice, either a family person where appropriate, or a pet or whatever, or a friend. Thanks. How can I resolve issues with video streams from Facebook Workplace?

What I've done: Cleared cache, history, etc. etc. ran multiple system scans restart app restart windows

So how do I keep Firefox from opening pop-up for about:config? That's right, There are pop ups that firefox allow to open new tabs, and its the about:config page.

Also, every time I start typing out google in the address bar auto suggest fills in googleleadservices or something like that. I already went through all the same steps above and more. I originally thought it was just opening one of the last pages I went to, but if I've "cleared" everything as per the way firefox has it set up, why would it have any history of what the last page was?

David, here are two screen shots (ss) to clarify my issue with email and a third regarding another issue (see below).

Number one ss shows what I see when I go to Thunderbird. I am allowed to delete if I wish by first marking the email and then clicking delete. If, however, I wish to view the message, Number two ss appears. I cannot delete the message without going back to Number one ss as that option has now disappeared. This was no problem on my old computer.

The other issue is related to the above. I have over 250 emails without being able to access them (see Number three ss). On the left upper side is the number of emails I have, but only six old emails appear, something that is confirmed in the upper right frame. No matter what I do, I cannot access them.
