TB 115.14.0, Win 10 22H2, desktop PC, POP3 from gmail...

I select one of my gmail accounts in TB and click Get Messages. It downloads one or a few emails from gmail and then suddenly the Windows hourglass appears and the banner bar at top of screen which says: "Inbox - (email account)@gmail.com - Mozilla Thunderbird" shows (Not Responding). After ~10-15 sec, downloading resumes normally and all messages accessible.

Happens with all 3 of my gmail accounts and all use same settings: Server type: POP Mail Server Server Name: pop.gmail.com port 995 Connectivity Security: SSL/TLS Authentication: OAUTH2

No TB add-ons installed, Windows Scanning is disabled in TB, running Windows Defender. Lots of free disk space, 16 GB RAM...

Tried TB troubleshooting but nothing found. Have run various Windows checks (eg, DISM and sfc) with no errors and problem continues.

Suggestions?

Ok, so first everyone needs to know I love Firefox, I have never donated a cent to Firefox. I think I have burned by FIREFOX MOZILLA HOW? I am not sure, because I am not an expert as all of you, but: I uninstalled Firefox because my iPad kept freezing and does not move on my iPad and all my four phones. While reinstalling Firefox, I see that one of their products called Monitor said my accounts have been compromised about 700+ instances. Then I proceed to find out how my accounts and private data was compromised? Well when I saw the list, you can imagine how long IT IS??? well, I was given a choice do it by paying $8+ a month/yearly and or manual; so what is the question how my addresses got compromised if I only use Firefox, Isn’t Firefox the self appointed SUPER GREAT BROWSER AND ADVOCATE FOR SECURITY AND INTERNET USER RIGHTS AND SO ON? Well again I am not an expert, but what I’m am so FXXXXXG burning stupidity it is that when I attempted to use the service, the FUNDAMENTAL QUESTIONS OF SECURITY your FUL NAME, YOUR DATE OF BIRTH, YOUR CITY AND STATE. Well, I am sorry today I lost flight on this browser, back to Safari, I guess. LIKE AN STUPID IDIOT I GAVE MY FULL NAME, MY DATE OF BIRTH, MY CITY, MY STATE TO FIREFOX/MOZILLA. NOW FIREFOX MOZILLA HAS ME BY MY BAXXS AND I FELT FOR IT. After some of the recent updates, my entries into the url search bar work for 1-2 searches, then the search bar no longer functions until I close out firefox and then re-open it. Then, again this repeats itself each time I use the Firefox search bar.

I use Sync on multiple computers for passwords. I have forgotten the Primary password on one of them. If I do a password reset on the one computer, does it affect the passwords stored on the Sync server, or maybe just the key4.db and logins.json folders on the computer being reset? I will not do a reset if the Sync'ed passwords could be affected, I'll just look them up on my phone. Thanks for your help!

Working on an iMac:

Yesterday, the Firefox browser started running insanely slow. So slow that we couldn't begin to use it anymore. We had to reinstall the Firefox browser a few times to get it working again.

Also, the Firefox Dev Edition browser, randomly crashed. Since then, it hasn't opened once for me. I've reinstalled the browser multiple times. Each time I attempt to open it, nothing happens, so we have to force close it.

Help me get a house anywhere in UK that you know is good safe and suitable for a visitor in a good climate, whether not too hot and not too cold but just do anything you know is good for me thank you. Getting a house for myself is very difficult. Lastly I need all the apps where I can log into all my details and information.

Until today it worked fine. But now whenever I try to login to Xfinity I get You don't have permission to access "http://login.xfinity.com/login" on this server. It works fine on Chrome and Edge. I have disabled my add-ons. I have cleared cache, cookies, etc. I have rebooted. I have turned off firewall. I have checked my DNS. I have changed the DNS protection to OFF in Firefox. I have checked my proxy setting (I have no proxy). I have reinstalled Firefox. Etc. Etc. Nothing works. The fact that it works on Chrome and Edge, that it has worked everyday until today gets me confused. I also tried using my mobile phone as a hot spot to make sure it wasn't related to my Internet connection or IP address. Anyone have any ideas?

cnbc.com will not allow me to sign in to my account. They want me to disable ad blockers, etc., except I don't have any ad blockers installed. Other times they deny my sign-in saying RECAPTCHA validation failed. I don't know if it has something to do with Mozilla Firefox or my virus protection (Bitdefender and Malwarebytes). The problem doesn't come up if I use another browser, like Google Chrome.

I need help debugging a problem with IMAP folder subscription.

One of my Gmail accounts on Thunderbird 115 keeps re-subscribing to "All Mail". This happens about every second day, and Thunderbird starts re-downloading all messages in the "All Mail" folder until I unsubscribe again.

My two other Gmail accounts for which I unsubscribed to "All Mail" do not have this problem.

I have unsubscribed from the "All Mail" IMAP folder several times (right-click on account > Subscribe ... > uncheck the "All Mail" folder > click OK). I have tried deleting OR not deleting the "All Mail.msf" file (while Thunderbird wasn't running, of course). I have tried refreshing the IMAP folder list (right-click on account > Subscribe ... > click Refresh). I compared the server settings of this account to settings of other accounts which don't automatically resubscribe, and found no difference. I cannot find why this account does this. Unfortunately, it's my most active account.

How can I find what causes this, and fix it?

Thunderbird updated last night to 128, and now all I get for messages is a blank screen. Changing the theme doesn't help. Messages are downloading correctly -- I just can't see them. Help!

Across the top of my screen every one of my tabs just reads DuckDuckGo.

Instead of having the DDG logo and then the search I entered when the new tab opened, there is now no way to see what is on the tab. Even when I hover over the tab it still just says DuckDuckGo.

When I click on the plus button to add a tab, the tab opens with a blank page, which is how I have it set up. The logo on the far left of the tab is for Firefox.

DuckDuckGo is my default search engine, so after I type something into the search bar at the top in Firefox, the results are displayed from DDG, and the tab changes from Firefox logo + "New tab" to DDG logo + "DuckDuckGo".
