For languages that don't put spaces between words there's a Unicode character zero-width space - ​ aka ​ - that a browser is supposed to use as a cue to break a line. Firefox ignores it.

Hello Everyone! I have been using Firefox (and a computer!)since about 2004! I am also well past my 'sell-by' date and would appreciate if any details are included in a reply, that they are explicit, my technical ability is around "O" ish!

Suddenly, a couple of months ago, my Emails in FireFox started opening to the right of the main 'panel' and were foreshortened.

Replying to any of them reduces the visible reply area to either one or two lines of text, making it difficult to see and be able to judge any editing.

I have been using Facebook Messenger to video chat with my close friends and family in UK and as I live outside UK, I have found this necessary. Firefox has just stopped allowing this facility. I now have had to install a different browser to be able to carry on this method of communication.

With all these difficulties, I am considering uninstalling Firefox, which I am unsure about any longer.

If there is/are any advice or suggestions, I would be grateful to see it or them.

Ever since I upgraded to Firefox for Mac 129.0.2, I've been getting errors trying to log in pretty much everywhere. Not Mozilla, but Chase, Reddit, etc. On the first try, I always get an error about not being able to establish a secure connection, along with the offensive suggestion that I try a different browser or the site's app. It generally works on the second attempt, but it's not working for Reddit today, although I get the same "different browser" message. Also my sister has been locked out of Chase using Firefox for iOS 129.1 (and I think also .2), so I am worried about where this is going.

My system is old: a late 2012 MacBook Pro, running Catalina (macOS 10.15.7), the highest system it can run. Please don't suggest I upgrade my hardware unless you are personally willing to pay for it; I can't.

Hello when i try to translate a word or phrase, doesnt have in list my language, which is Greek. For example i want to translate a word from english to greek and there is no option in menu to choose my language. How can i add my language to this list? Thank you!

I have just got a new machine running Win 11 and installed Firefox. When I compose a new email the text appears very small, despite the size for text that I've set. The only way I can change that is to Zoom, which I have to do for each new email that I write.

Hi there, I don't know if it was from a recent update to Firefox or to Avast passwords but the Passwords extension will not install. I've been in contact with Avast and tried uninstalling Firefox, Avast Premium Security, Avast Passwords and tried re-installing them but nothing has fixed the issue. Previously the extension wasn't working in Chrome and I couldn't reinstall it, but I have managed to reinstall it and it is working in Chrome now. I'd prefer to use Firefox if I can get it working there again.

Be descriptive. Saying “playing video on YouTube is always choppy” will help us understand the issue better than saying “something is wrong” or “the app is broken”.

After several recent Firefox updates, I can no longer login to my credit card's account page. As a result, I am now using Microsoft Edge Version 127.0.2651.86.

I have attached the screenshot of the FF problem on my Windows 10 64bit laptop comp. As you can see, the login section is blocked, with a message "Firefox Can't Open This Page".

I'm running Version 108.0.1 on a mid 2015 Macbook Pro MacOS 12.6.2 Today I went to do a translation using the "to google translate" add-on and noticed it was missing from its place in the context menu. I go to "get more add-ons and re-installed it.

So why was it uninstalled without my consent? What can I do to stop this happening again?

I have had 2 sites produce this error box in place of the target Web Site (See Picture). I have read previous topics about this and have followed the instructions with no positive results. FYI, clearing the web site's cookies, clearing Cache and disabling Hardware acceleration.

The first was https://www.walmart.com. After leaving a "Feedback" 2 weeks ago it appears as if they were able to fix the problem. However, the site is not as important as my Medicare PPO provider. I tried loading previous versions of Firefox, but that did not help.

In both instances the LOL "support" people's response was to try a different Browser. So, I reluctantly loaded Google Chrome and it worked perfectly. From my perspective, this eliminates everything to do with my machine setup.

Hello, I've been trying to use my Firefox browser for the past week and nothing I do seems to work. Whenever I click the icon on my Windows desktop, it sends me the following Mozilla Crash Report:

I've restarted my computer and tried to change multiple settings, but the same pop up message keeps appearing. I've checked the box that sends the crash to Mozilla and clicked the button that says Restart Firefox, but still nothing. There's also a "Detail" button that provides a bunch of information that I'm not sure how to interpret haha but I can try to copy that if you think it would be helpful.

I would appreciate any help. I'm looking to get a new computer (not sure if that is part of the issue), but I'm really hoping to be able to save the bookmarks I had.
