I am finding more and more sites that I regularly go to are no longer working on firefox. One site was because HTML5 apparently does not work on firefox. But others I don't know about why are no longer working on firefox. I thought it might be streaming related but just today I could not access one of my banks on firefox, and I tried many times, but had no problem signing on using Chrome.

When i open uppercode in browser Firefox and push the hyperlink, Thunderbird start correctly a new message with content (subject and body). When i receive uppercode as message in Thunderbird and push the hyperlink, Thunderbird open an empty window (and from now all messages are empty). After restart Thunderbird all messages are visible again. Is it a bug?

Somebody better answer me as I am about to switch my default browser from Firefox to something else. I have already asked this question but never received any response. For a long time now I keep running across sites that do not work on Firefox. It can be a streaming site such as Paramount+ or it could be my phone service site Ting. In all of the cases and there have been quite a few I am always able to find another browser the sites will work on. 9 times out of 10 they will work on Chrome but I have found at least one that does not work there but will work on Edge. So, right now Edge is the prime candidate to switch to. I do not want to quit as it would be a pain in the ass as I have been a loyal user for at least 15 years and have stuck with you as I believe in what you are doing and represent but it is becoming to much of a pain to continue using you because I like the convenience of using only 1 browser 99% of the time. Specifically I cannot access the PG&E website. FF is suddenly unable to bring up my login page. Several versions ago I started having trouble with another webpage where I webcam is updated every 5 minutes. All other browsers work for these two websites (Edge, Chrome and Brave).

Since a recent Firefox update it has decided to log me out every single day which is very annoying...I have looked at solutions that only computer guru's would understand and I have no time or desire to trouble shoot this. Therefore, I will be using a different browser until this problem is solved.

I now have the problem that I am on a large payment page and switch back and forth between FF and another app (to copy payment-relevant data). Unfortunately, FF does a page refresh every time it is brought back to the foreground from the background. And all the data already entered is lost! This is a fairly well-known problem with FF on Android! Chromium manages this better and leaves the memory management to Android. Why can't FF do that? Why can't I switch off this feature? I can't edit any relevant websites with the FF. I have to use Chrome for that! Hooray!

My Thunderbird just reset itself.

My profile and account settings were there. All my emails and filters were gone (maybe other things too that I am not aware of). Even the vertical spacing of emails changed and the descending order reverted back to the default ascending order (is there a global setting to list everything in descending order?).

I had an old backup zip file (500+ Mb) which I imported (more than once) but the backup emails are not showing after import>restart.

This is my office email account. Since working from home the old emails are needed and now they are all gone. All client updates and HR emails, everything :(

Is there any way to download all emails from the server again? Or at least have the imported messages show up again so I can get a partial backup?

I cant get rid of this unsolicited "sign in with google" prompt which has cost me untold lost time having to type things over because it pops up when im looking at the keyboard while typing , getting noplace ! It is deliberate harassment !

I DO NOT HAVE ANY GOOGLE ACCOUNT AND WILL NEVER HAVE A GOOGLE ACCOUNT .

Therefore I can't sign in using any google account ! Why then do I get this trash ? All the recommended ways to shut it off don't work ! They all talk about going to google account settings ! As I've said , I do not have any google account ! Therefore I can't go to any settings ! I can't get rid of this unwanted harassment !

I refreshed (to 129.0.2)..... and the iCloud became to dead... (unsigned and unable to sign in) I try to retranslate (from Hungarian) the error message: "During the contact to the server, a mistake/problem emerged". Other browser (Safari on the phone) does not face with it..... (It is possible to sign in.) Is it a bug?????? WHAT SHOLD I DO????????? HOW CAN IT BE SOLVED??????

I recently came across the Thunderbird versions are being mentioned as "esr".

In 115.0 version, I see "esr" is added from the 115.10.2esr to 115.14.0esr, the latest version. I also do not see any change in the installers provided. I would like to understand what is the difference between the previous versions and the versions with "esr"?

In 128.0 version, I can see only 128.0.1esr and 128.1.0esr. Is there no normal updates? Now only esr is supproted?

I had version 115.0 installed but I was able to upgrade to 128.1.0esr without any issue. Is this supported?
