VERY OBVIOUS THING !!but in 2023 we still have problems losing bookmarks and other data !!! because of horible app design (not UI) !! im in the process in moving to new phone and I'm stuck because I don't see a way of saving all my old phone to ne without deleting lot of info or with lot of manual work to copy at least something and this is 2023 !!!

hello, ive had my Firefox account for YEARS. i got a new device, and installed firefox on the new device. i logged into to new device, told it to sync my old data over, and instead, i think it removed all my old data. my passwords are still saved, but my bookmarks, my collections for tabs are gone, and i cant seem to get them back. this was done across my 4 devices. how can i backdate, or find an old backup to revive?
Would I be able to find out how many things are getting deleted if i reset my password? bookmarks specifically.

My mobil phone does have all my "Desktop bookmarks" under its own tab, but im not sure how to make sure my desktop bookmarks get back over to my actual desktop without losing the ones on my mobil. i have to many bookmarks to go thru 1 by 1. any help is great.
I want my phone bookmarks to reflect what I have on my desktop.

my usernames and passwords are not syncing....i have all my passwords and usernames saved on my pc....and I’ve synced all passwords and logins and can view them on both devices. ‘Autofill in Firefox’ and ‘Autofill in other apps’ are both on. But, when logging in to apps on the Samsung, autofill doesn’t work. Even if I fill in my email address, there is no password suggestion. Instead, a small dropdown message appears: ‘unlock Firefox’. It isn’t active, and doesn’t open anything when I tap on it. Result: I have to go looking for the passwords and fill them in manually. I hope there’s a solution. thank u in advance for your help. LL

I am running Ff 114.0.2 on a Windows 11 workstation and Ff mobile on a Samsung Galaxy S20. Syncing is enabled on both devices, but passwords are not syncing, even after manually syncing. Autofill of usernames and passwords works on my workstation, but not on my mobile device, even though that feature is enabled. Sometimes (but not always), I am prompted on my mobile device to unlock Firefox, but after tapping the prompt, nothing happens.

I just finished setting up my new pc with Windows 11 (Feb 2023 updates) and installed Firefox 110.0.1) and wanted to transfer my logins, passwords, etc, from my Android 12 Phone's Firefox 110.1.0, and other pcs. A window popped up giving instructions how to sync my phone, as follow:
I'm 73, have used Firefox since first release in 2004. In all these years I have never seen SYNC in the instructions to "sync and save and to point the phone at a barcode-thingy" or at least not in this world. The instructions made it seem like SYNC was right there to see, but I had to dig thru layes of options to finally find it. You can blaim it on my 73 yr old brain, I guess, but nothing like these instructions exist in Windows or Android firfox. What in the world are your programmers smokin' these days. I would just as soon open up Edge or Chrome and did up the passwords I need to log into my banking and creditcard accounts...heck, it seems like MAYBE I should just dump Firefox after almost 20 years and just use those other browsers. At least there instructions are much simpler that this ol' man can follow. Please have someone review your published helps info on your webpages, and help those Sr. citizens like me to more easily find what we need without calling up grandsons or granddaughters for help (their parents are worse than I am at most techy stuff!) Why does sync break EVERY week on my phone. EVERY week I have to spend half an hour trying and usually failing to get my phone to be able to receive tabs from my desktop computers. Why do you break this critical feature with every update no matter how large.
I restart both firefox on all my devices as well as the devices themselves. I clear cache, cookies and even do fresh installs. Nothing works until a day or so later it magically deigns to function again.
