Yesterday, Amazon disappeared from the Firefox search drop down menu and it had disappeared as an option from the list of possible search tools. Later on in the day, it reappeared. This morning it had disappeared. Amazon is still there, but Firefox seems disinclined to admit that. How can Firefox make Amazon stick?

I wish you would stop carrying articles from sources that do not allow pocket subscribers to read them without an individual subscription to the article source. One notable example is the New York Times. it is not possible to read an article from them because when someone clicks on the article of interest, it is not visible unless that person signs up for a subscription to the NYT. So, for all of your readers who like to peruse interesting and thought provoking articles, but do not wish to sign up for multiple subscriptions, why even carry articles from sources that cannot be read to start with? this is VERY annoying! Thanks.

I just saw on line a notice about mozilla monitor and I tried the free scan. I was alarmed. My quesiton is if you have more than one email associated with you ID information, does mozilla monitor cover those different email addresses?

Am running on linux with KDE. When I press the software shutdown button in KDE, and reboot, the tabs in firefox remain, even though I disabled that from happening in settings.

Hi,

1. impossible to open bookmarks. nothing happens

2. all the shortcuts on my home page have disappeared while they are still chosen in preferences and it is not possible to add new ones. Again nothing happens when trying.

I am mainly concern about the possible loss of the links of the bookmarks. I already experienced a total loss of the history and I fear to go through something like that again.

Please solve this problem or help me if I can do it myself. I did a restart and a refresh but no change. Thank you

I'm having problems with Firefox using 75% of processor capacity. In "top" I see many instances of "Isolated Web Co".

At the moment of this screen shot the processor is not overwhelmed, however, it will sometime jump up to 75% and the system will seem to freeze.

What is the "Isolated Web Co"? I'm thinking a virus.

I use windows 10 Pro as the main synching device to synch Firefox to my iPhone ver. 14 and ninth generation iPad. Neether the iPhone or iPad will synch. Seems like the changing of the guard in management has screwed things up that were working a few days ago.

bold textWhen I click onto Firefox, it opens a tab that says Invalid URL. If I click onto the + next to it, it opens up into the firefox browser. What can I do about the original tab??

Hi! I do not want more cookies than "necessary". So I reject, make settings etc. And I clean them automatically when closing Firefox, just in case. On some sites that I visit very often, this turns out very tedious and timeconsuming. How to allow only necessary cookies and not the rest? With Privacy & Security, Cookies and Site Data, Manage Exceptions, I can allow or block cookies from specific sites. What do I allow when I choose Allow? Only the ticked ones or all marketing and other stuff even when these are not preticked as default? Or will the choices made during this session be saved? In the case of my bank and a couple of others, I would like to save my choices to be able to enter it a little faster. But cleaning at closing Firefox also deletes that, I suppose? How to save my choices without saving all cookies?

Is there any way to see what kind of cookies have been saved? I can see the number of cookies for each site under Manage Data, but how to see the type of cookie?

MS Windows 11 just updated (02/14/24) and now Firefox keeps giving me the 'Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window.

 <Close Firefox>  <Cancel>.  Task Manager is showing three Firefox activities at the same time.  This problem is only on my Admin user account.   The two other local account run Firefox fine.  Any help, suggestions directions?

I don't know in which version exactly it happened but a few weeks earlier i was able to edit cookies like we can on all other browsers, but today suddenly i cannot.

I expected it to be a simple double-click and i can edit the cookie key name or value but it doesn't let me edit, it opens the detailed view about that cookie. I looked EVERYWHERE and could NOT find any way to edit the cookies for hours and this is really frustrating as a dev. This is important to troubleshoot many kinds of bugs when I am developing an app.

After a recent Microsoft update, FF Picture-in-picture now broken. Will not detach from viewer, instead expands much larger beyond screen. Attempts to restore pauses video. Problem not just in YouTube. FF; 122.0.1, W11; OS build 22621.3155

since this morning, my gmail account doesn't work when I use Firefox on my laptop. After accepting my email address and password, it says that my account is temporarily unavailable (see annex).

But my Google account works perfectly with Edge on the laptop and on my smartphone and tablet.

The problem remains even after restarting the laptop and launching CCleaner

Dzień dobry, Jak otwieram pocztę na stronie onetu to podpowiada mi adres mailowy, którego nie chcę żeby podpowiadał. Jak go kliknę to nie podpowiada żadnego hasła ale jest on widoczny automatycznie a nie chcę żeby był widoczny. W zakładce hasła w ustawieniach nie ma tego maila, usunąłem "ciasteczka ze stroną onetu" a cały czas ten adres mailowy mi wyskakuje, przesyłam zrzut ekranu gdzie są widoczne te podpowiedzi a nie chce żeby były Proszę o pomoc

Everytime I look up something and it has a map attached to it and I click on the map, I get Google Map or MapQuest and the map is there for 3 seconds and then it looks like the attached picture. So I open up maps in its own tab and type in the address and I get same results. But if I use either of them in edge, I have no problems. I only have Mate Translate on in add ons. So I have no idea what is going on. I reset cache as I had read that from a post (though their issue was similar but not the same) I would appreciate any and all help you can give me. TYIA
