When you add a page to your bookmarks a window appears that asks for a name and which folder you want to save it on. By default it recommends you a folder but there is a button to "un-hide" your full folders list. Is there a way to make this the default? As in, i dont have to click "un-hide" everytime (...because firefox never picks the folder i want)

I see no microphone on in the address bar for Firefox. I read that it is supposed to be (standard feature?) on the left side. How do I restore or enable this feature? For good measure, would someone please send me an image (snip& sketch?) of the address bar showing what this looks like. First time posting so I don't even know if one can attach or include images in a reply.

Whenever I start Firefox it loads up on the upper left corner in a minimized version and I have to double click the maximizing button to get everything right. I tried the tip of deleting the .js file in the Profile folder of the browser. I did that 5 times and the problem still occurs. Everything is up to date. What's wrong?

If I go to a website it creates a shortcut on my browser page each time. I only want to have the pages I use a lot on there. Is there some way of stopping each site from being added?

Hello, My Antivirus sofware (GData Internet security) showed the attached message (in German) two times today. It says in English something like:

It was tried to access an infected archive

Virus: Trojan.GenericKD.71195125 (Engine A) File: 0B3C6E11DBBC160A3AAFC100C8BAB878F5EE0C Directory: C:\Users\re-ge\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firef Process: firefox.exe

The line ending with "Firef" may indicate that lines are truncated.

Any suggestion what to do ? Reinhard

I imported my bookmarks, but they're not displaying in the bookmarks toolbar. I've tried hiding it and unhiding and restarting the program/my computer. The imported bookmarks can be seen when I go to "recent bookmarks" in the manage your bookmarks section. It also says that they're listed in the bookmarks menu, but they're not visible outside of the manage bookmarks settings window.

I used to be able to access my Wells Fargo account using Firefox (as recently as last Thursday Jan 11,2024). Now when I try to access the account, Wells Fargo no longer recognizes my sign-in information. The Wells Fargo internet customer service person I spoke to said I was the second customer within the last few days with a similar problem with Firefox. Both Chrome and Edge are not having similar problems. I have the latest version of Firefox, so possibly Wells Fargo changed something. I do not want to use Chrome or Edge because of the hundreds of trackers they allow. Does anybody have any ideas? How does Firefox check on the compatibility of Firefox with websites? Thank you. I keep getting a message that says on YouTube "experiencing interruptions, find out why?'. The videos pause and are choppy. When I click find out why, it's telling me to turn off my high resolution. I don't even know how to do this. My tower is connected to a samsung hd smart tv, that serves as my monitor. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse. The message is constant - all day long, every day. Can you please help me fix this problem. I am a paying member of YouTube Premium. Thank you.

Firefox used to open the bookmarks to the left showing all the bookmarks, ever since that last update not the go right and aren't even the bookmarks I want, how do I change it back

Smaller adblocker ultimate advertising icon appears on most screens. It's annoying and typically in the way. I tried adblocker once but disabled it months ago and removed it today. The ad for adblocker ultimate still appears in the lower corner of most pages. The icon and the Expanded flag is (opened) are both attached below.

My Firefox does not restore data automatically. I will recount everything as follows. Initially, my Firefox showed signs of lagging, so I deleted Firefox and reinstalled it (at this time my account was still logged in and syncing normally). After I successfully reinstalled Firefox, I forgot the password because I hadn’t logged into Firefox for a long time. After I reset the password and logged into Firefox to sync, and I clicked Sync now many times, it still did not sync and retrieve all the data I had earlier. Can someone help me! Many of my important documents have been lost!

When I open Firefox on my new computer all the bookmarks are showing at the top. I only want my default bookmark toolbar to show. The only solution I could find was to drag it into the toolbar area.

Hello Before I reset my PC some months ago, I almost never had to Login to sites, as the kept me logged in. This no longer happens, and now I frequently have to Login to eg. my Google account which needs third party autho and all sorts. It is rather annoying having to Login to Google every time I close the Window.

I do not have this setting on: "delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" I do have this setting on: "Ask to save logins and passwords for web sites"

It does save my Password and autofill, which makes it easier. But it is still annoying, that I have to login to everything every time.

I have tried reinstalling Firefox, to no avail.

Please Help

Just today a web based TV show has stopped playing, the circle spins for a moment (as if it was loading) the circle then just vanishes and nothing plays.

I am running Win 11, I have successfully had the video play in Edge and Brave.

Firefox however is being stubborn and refuses to play
