There is a bar that says: You must log in to this network before you can access the internet" and a button that says Open network login page" and then the following shows up:

The page isn’t redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Please advise what Is going on.

When I click on a pdf file, Firefox opens and displays the file, rather than handing it off to Acrobat, which is my preference. I'm running Firefox 122.0.1 and Windows 11 Firefox seems to ignore the settings in General, Applications. (See attached image)

    If I set to Always Ask, Firefox displays the file without asking.
    If I set to Save File, Firefox does not save the file.  It displays pdf instead.
    If I set to Windows Default Application, Firefox displays the file.  
         (Note: Acrobat is set in Windows as my default app for pdfs.  If I find a pdf with Windows Explorer and open it there, Acrobat is launched and it displays the file.  IOW I've confirmed that Acrobat is set as my default app for pdfs)
    If I set to Acrobat, Firefox displays the file.

I see nothing in Firefox Settings showing an Add-in for pdfs Any ideas?

"Verification of this link failed due to an error" when selecting a hyperlink. I then select "Skip verification" and the link is made.

This happens on all hyperlinks. Has been happening for at least 6 months.

How can I fix or prevent this message? Thank you.

(This has happened more than once!) When Windows did a 'forced' software upgrade on my desktop PC, 3 days ago, my g-mail/email link will not load, therefore I am unable to access my emails. If I close Firefox and open the Chrome browser, I get access to my g-mail. I have tried clearing cache and cookies but my g-mail still will not open using Firefox. Do I have to ditch my Firefox and start using Chrome as my default browser just so I can get my email? Do you have any suggestions? FYI, I am not a 'computer tech'. I am retired. Hopefully your suggestion/recommendation will not be too complex for the typical/basic PC user.

Hi, I am trying to install an add-on for MetaCert. I receive the following from Firefox: "Check This by MetaCert by MetaCert". This does not help to install the add-on. This is not a problem on my other PC. Look forward to your help/suggestions. Best, Stephen Rodgers

I have no idea how I got into incognito mode and I have not found a solution on getting back out. My main problem is that I am locked into an incognito mode keyboard which I find close to unreadable.

hi when I go to github it says Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue whereas before it worked fine but now it doesn't :/ I have watched so many tuto on yt but no one work i have clear my data i removed my antivirus and all my extensions and went into private browsing but I still get this error.

How do I add a link to the start page that shows when you open a new tab? I've read support docs and I don't have a "pin icon" on my toolbar... I'm on MacOS (M1) and latest (Feb '24) FireFox...... how can it be so non-intuitive? I can't find an option anywhere...

i troubleshooted everything , I did a refresh , things got worse Amazon just isnt loading Other quirks after the refresh like opening a window instead of a tab ( yes my settings show tab) It causes other websites to run slow i turned off my ghostery , ran in trouble shoot mode, amazon works fine in chrome ( which i downloaded just to check , please don't make me go to chrome )

Hello, In old versions of Firefox picture-in-picture mode was "always on top" by default, now "always on top" mus to be enabled every time I pop-out every video. Is there any solution to make picture-in-picture mode "always on top" by default?

Before, when I started to write an address, firefox did not remember and I have to write it. That was fine. Now, it remembers everything and everything is kept in the history despite I close the private and open it again. Any other person can open the private again and see the last thing you were doing. No real private browsing, no fun

Po przeinstalowaniu systemu i wgraniu Mozilli mam problem z otwieraniem plików. Brakuje mi możliwości jak ze zdjęcia, które jest z instrukcji jak to robić. Przykładowo pliki .pdf zapisuj się i otwieraj od razu, wszystko fajnie. Ale już pliki .msg czy .eml nie chc otworzyć się automatycznie w Outlook'u i nie widzę nigdzie opcji zaznaczenia "zawsze otwieraj podobne pliki" czy jak to tam szło dokładnie. Bardzo proszę o pomoc gdyż bardzo mocno utrudnia to pracę i użytkowanie przegladarki.

The site works with Microsoft Edge, which is not my usual browser. (That's Firefox). I have tried clearing history and it has no effect. Can anyone confirm that this is a Firefox message and what it means?

Recently I have found that I cannot download statements from my bank account, also at the same time (2/3 months ago) I cannot access a Tesco website from Firefox. I can carry out these functions easily from Microsoft Edge, so why the sudden change ? Can anyone please help me to fix this in Firefox?

Videos (with the exception of those on YouTube) have no sound, and in some cases such as Amazon or Plex, fail to play at all. Amazon directs me to plugins, and to select 'Always Activate' on Widevine Content Decryption, and to update plugins. This was already the case and had no effect. Plex, in some cases, simply gives the error: 's4032 (Manifest)', though this could be a different issue. Other videos on Plex have the same problem of no sound. This problem doesn't occur on other browsers like Chrome or Edge.

Yesterday, Amazon disappeared from the Firefox search drop down menu and it had disappeared as an option from the list of possible search tools. Later on in the day, it reappeared. This morning it had disappeared. Amazon is still there, but Firefox seems disinclined to admit that. How can Firefox make Amazon stick?

I wish you would stop carrying articles from sources that do not allow pocket subscribers to read them without an individual subscription to the article source. One notable example is the New York Times. it is not possible to read an article from them because when someone clicks on the article of interest, it is not visible unless that person signs up for a subscription to the NYT. So, for all of your readers who like to peruse interesting and thought provoking articles, but do not wish to sign up for multiple subscriptions, why even carry articles from sources that cannot be read to start with? this is VERY annoying! Thanks.
