I use Private Browsing to read a newspaper, not behind a paywall, for the main reason it hides all the adds. But just this last few weeks I keep getting the message "Please allow ads on out site" more and more not a great problem I just refresh the page and like magic gone. I like to open each story in a new tab so when I have read the paper I can have a whole lot of tabs all with just one story so after I read the story I close the tab and still have the paper opened where I left off for quicker navigation in its original tab. I do not have an Ad Blocked running in Private Browsing mode but as you can see the site thinks I am. Is there anything that can prevent this from happening? see attached.

I went to Ugsound.com accidently while using Firefox on my Imac. The Firefox warning came up immediately and I left the site. Did Firefox protect me from malicious virus or was it too late? I was on the site for maybe 7-8 seconds.

Pour exemple, lorsque Mozilla installe une mise à jour automatique, nos différents comptes, sur Gmail ou le site "Le Bon Coin", se bloquent et m'alertent d'un problème de sécurité. Pour certains comptes cela devient catastrophiques, car nous avons dans la famille, 2 téléphones qui ne captent pas dans la maison et nous sommes obligés de sortir de notre domicile pour obtenir le code (c'est chouette en hiver lorsqu'il fait froid et qu'il pleut; désolé d'habiter à la campagne!!). Ces problèmes n'existaient pas deux ou trois ans en arrière. Depuis je n'ai trouvé aucune solution! Je souhaitais surtout être sûr que ces problèmes émanaient du petit Renard; 15 ans que j'utilise Mozilla. Ces problèmes récurrents sont problématiques pour toute la famille, puisque mes parents rencontrent exactement les mêmes problèmes. Merci de nous venir en aide. Cordialement.

I tried a 2022 sourced help answer result content but it was broken, and that seemed to be the most recent gainful help response connected to my issue, another variant from elsewhere did not work at all, it was probably older still, so I need working code for the most recent version of Firefox Browser, or however recent enough to not so conflict. Much Appreciated.

Hi ive noticed that randomly since the update when using firefox ill go to type something into the address bar hit enter and normally it would search with google however it registers me pressing search but nothing happens.

Im trapped as i cant search or choose any links and have to restart the browser unsure why this is happening its my first issue with firefox and the sole reason me making a account to post.

Whenever i open firefox the tabs just crashes. there is nothing but a blank screen with a tab crash reporter. any tab or anything i try to open just gives a tab crash. the crash report is this: bp-92ae3e9d-16cb-4655-a0df-8ce150240816

I'm running Windows 11 and Firefox 129.0.1 I open Firefox, using no connections to any website, still my Avast blocks connection from 3245.UK "because it is infected with URL:Blacklist" , every few minutes. Any idea???

Intermittently find browser open on its own @ homepage without any action on my part.

Hi. Yesterday something weird and unexpected happened to my Firefox and amongst other things it lost all my open tabs, of which there was about 70 or so. Another strange thing which happened is a website I use turned into Japanese language all on its own and in the end I was forced to delete cookies for that website to revert it to English, even though it was never changed in the first place. My homepage shortcut tiles were also all rearranged and some deleted. I have no idea what caused all this, but the biggest issue for me is that I lost all my open tabs. I refreshed Firefox to try to cleanse whatever it was that caused this, but even before this I lost my tabs.

My question here is; I am sure that the history of those open tabs is still listed somewhere on a file and I can get back my previous session which had all the tabs on it, but I have no idea where it is or where to look. How do I do this and where do I find the older file with the open tabs.

I am on FF 129.0.1 on Windows 10 laptop. I download financial data from several sources using the .qfx format which is fed into personal finance software (Moneydance). Everything works well and download history shows all downloads from banks, but does not include downloads from my brokerage. Is this something the brokerage is doing or some setting that I can control. Thanks for any help in explaining this.

When I open a .jpg file, the Firefox web browser window width is too big. I want to change the default window width. Which item in about:config controls this setting and what value should I enter to have a default window width of approximately half the screen size?

my Firefox was working just fine, and I did an update this morning and now nothing works. My Firefox will not install and nothing that works with Firefox will work. I tried to uninstall the Firefox that I had and it doesn't even show up on the list of programs any more, so I can't do an uninstall.

I'm having a difficult time logging in. I probably need to get started all over again. I locked my self out by too many attempts to log in. I'm totally lost and probably need to start the process all over again.

In my control panel programs and features I have 2 versions of Firefos GB and US. When i click on about in Firefox it does not show which version i am on GB or US. I want to delete US but want to make sure i delete the right one as I have bookmarks

Also when Windows starts up i get 2 Firefox browsers open. How can I get rid of the one I dont want as first one has my favs

On FireFox v115, on Mac system High Sierra, 10.13.6. Autoplay setting will not let me remove this 'about:welcome^privateBrowsingld=1' or this 'about:welcome' no matter how many times I try. The version on my Mac laptop,129, does not have this or anything. What is this?

I've always been able to type a new web address directly into my browser bar. Firefox no longer allows me to do that. It reverts back to the original address, even when opening a new tab to start over. I also can no longer type into the Google search box. It tries to take me to the browser bar instead, and then I can't go anywhere. Help please!

When I am on the Facebook app, after a while I have to sign in again, starting a question about accepting cookies. Also when I have started Firefox and I click on Facebook I have to sign-in again, before I clicked on Facebook and it was there. Can you please help me?
