Hi, Hopefully someone can help. This started a couple of days ago. I'm actually trying to log in to my own account on Flickr. If I just input Flickr.com, the main front page loads, if I then go to log in, I get: "429 Too Many Requests You have sent too many requests in a given amount of time" on the screen. I've only hit enter once. As far as I can see this is the only site that does this BUT Youtube sometimes plays up, so maybe something is happening in the back ground with that. Might be totally unconnected.

I've tried using Opera (my main back up) and that loads my account just fine. I've tried turning off the extensions Adblock, No Script etc and the 429 error still pops up everytime I go to log in..

Any ideas? Anyone?

Am I understanding this correctly?

HTML backup (bookmarks) doesn't support tags and annotations, but JSON backup does, and JSON backup doesn't preserve the website favicons, but HTML backup does?  

So, what I can do, is restore my (saved) bookmarks using JSON backup, then restore the HTML backup, this would get my tags and annotations, and the website favicons back? But the downside, I will need to remove duplicates?

I had issues with my computer which got me into a situation where i had to delete all partitions of my drives, starting from 0. Signing in my firefox account in a fresh win install suddenly recovers NOTHING and i am now panicking as i had very important accounts & passwords, bookmarks, tabs, extensions, etc. I have tried other devices too without any luck. I need help recovering all these asap.

For several days I have been receiving pop up scams as illustrated in the first image attached. They repeat themselves every few minutes. The second image is what I received on the website listed at the bottom of the pop up - brnok. stoneheartseeker.top.

How do I stop them, please?

Also, is there a legitimate connection between Mozilla Firefox and brnok.stoneheartseeker.top?

My potato pc(amd A8-7600, 8G ram, rx560 2G) is not capable of YouTube vp9 hardware acceleration, but I played 1080p 60fps videos without difficulty using add-ons that force h264 decoding, but the videos started stuttering a while ago. Tired of the bullying tactics of Microsoft forcing me to accept Microsoft Edge when all I want is Google Chrome, so I'm thinking of making Mozilla my default browser, but I'm concerned about whether Mozilla will tranfer all my info. I sell the occasional bits on Etsy and Ebay. I had found the perfect tool to edit my photos on Chrome. Now this has gone haywire because I am forced into using Edge, which does not give me anything like the editing choices I have on Chrome. I have followed all the directions given by Microsoft to get off Edge and back into Chrome but they have all failed miserably, so I am trapped in Edge and all my efforts are turning into Groundhog Day ! Also if I return to Firefox, what will happen to all my photos, and the folders they are kept in ? As an 86 year old, I need clear, concise directions on how I can restore everything I need to be able to return to a browser I was completely comfortable with. Please advise.

Pubmed Central (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/) is a commonly used website for literature reading in life sicences research. I found that it takes a lot of time to load the PMC web page, and even worse to access an aricle in it, always more than 10 seconds (for example, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1234567/). These pages access smoothly in other browsers on my computer (MacBook Pro with M1, macOS Sonoma 14.0). I've tried the troubleshoot mode, and clearing all the cookies and cache, but it just doesn't work.

The subject website pge.com has blocked Firefox apparently because new function that they have instituted features that Firefox cannot support. The subject website states it does not support Firefox. Is this refusal to support on the subject website a known problem? I have searched the Firefox Help without results. Is this even considered a problem? I appreciate Firefox and would like to see it be a supported browser on the subject website.

My website base on the English language. How can I change my website language base on my user language? Is it possible? If it is than let me know about this. Because this will help my user perfectly understand. This is the website I'm talking about villa painting Dubai.

Email from a specific site is not showing in my yahoo email inbox. I can do a search for it and a list of emails from that site shows up. What do I have to do and how do I do it to make the email show up in my inbox?? Is there a way I can add it to firefox so its not blocked>>

I use 118.0.2 (64-bit) because I do not like the newer versions, but every time I open it I have to decline two consecutive Firefox popups urging me to upgrade to the newest version. Since I open Firefox dozens of times a day, these constant popups are driving me crazy. How can I stop them? Thanks.

This isn't a constant issue for me, but occasionally the browser will suddenly break such that when I switch tabs, nothing actually updates until I do something like restore/maximise the window. I can still interact with the page itself, but whether using the mouse or keyboard shortcuts, changing, opening, or closing tabs, or even typing in the navigation bar, won't do anything until I resize the window again. I haven't been able to figure out any pattern to when this state triggers, but after it does, it doesn't clear up without closing and reopening the browser. I have recorded a video showing this behavior but I am unable to upload it here, and still images would not properly convey the issue.

I've encountered a very weird behavior: when selecting where to save a file or selecting a file to upload, the browser hangs 100% of the time.

Even when I go to about:memory, click Load, the path selection window appears - regardless of whether I select a file or close the window, the browser hangs and the window stops responding. I tried waiting for several hours - to no avail. Only restarting helps. Same with the upload selection window - regardless of whether I selected a file to upload or closed the selection window, the browser hangs. Before freezing permanently, the mouse cursor stops moving, then lags around a bit before recovering.

I tried cleaning download history, cache, recreated profile, restarted without extensions, in safe mode, disabled antivirus - always the same result.

Please advise me, maybe someone has encountered something like this - I really don't want to start using Chrome. My OS is Windows 11. Thanks in advance.

Hello. Can someone please explain why Facebook asks for username/password every single time Firefox is restarted? I do not use cookie-cleaning extensions. They also send a 'login attempt' email and phone notification every time.

Tried with and without Facebook Container. Not using other Container/multi-account related extensions. My settings:

Standard Tracking Protection (allow/block exceptions: none) "Do not track" signal: Always Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed: disabled (no exceptions) History - Firefox will: Remember History
