Now to the problem: Various pages have no favicon in Firefox when I drag them into the bookmark bar as a bookmark. However, when the page is active in the tab, a favicon is visible there.

The problem does not seem to be unique to me. Several people have tested it. It also seems to be a problem in Firefox only. In other browsers, this problem does not occur.

What can website owners do to fix this problem?

Before Firefox used to keep private tabs 'open and available' till you closed the page out, for iphones, ipads, etc. Now all my private tabs are closing out every time I close the app. Before there used to be a section in settings that would allow you to turn this feature on/off, however it's not in settings anymore. I want to be able to keep private tabs open when I close out Firefox on my phone and ipad.Before I would have all my tabs available jut like regular browsing but now its cleared out evey time. Is there anyway to fix and change this?

I am running macOS 10.15.7 and Firefox won't upgrade past ESR v. 115 to the "regular" version 127.

Alternately, downloading the Firefox v. 127 installer and running won't update ESR v. 115 nor will it import bookmarks or data from the previous version ESR 115. Firefox v. 127 installs and starts as if I am a new user without any update or import option so that all previous settings, passwords, and data from ESR v. 115 are lost.

Is there a work-around for the upgrade to keep continuity, settings, bookmarks, and data when migrating to v. 127? Thanks!

I receive e-mail from websites where I subscribe. Many times, the message from the sites (kelbyone.com, to name one) contain a graphic (jpg) that does not display in Outlook.com. Microsoft Tech Support is unresponsive. The sending websites refuse to help.

This is not a bug or issue, rather a use case question. I have a webpage with information and I don't want to accidentally click or submit anything on the page.

This could also be considering having a form etc in draft form as view-only so you go into "View Only Mode" and work the webpage as a reference etc. without having to worry about any accidental submission or mistakes.
