my Firefox was working just fine, and I did an update this morning and now nothing works. My Firefox will not install and nothing that works with Firefox will work. I tried to uninstall the Firefox that I had and it doesn't even show up on the list of programs any more, so I can't do an uninstall.

I'm having a difficult time logging in. I probably need to get started all over again. I locked my self out by too many attempts to log in. I'm totally lost and probably need to start the process all over again.

My computer has been warning me of low memory. Might that be causing or affect this?

In my control panel programs and features I have 2 versions of Firefos GB and US. When i click on about in Firefox it does not show which version i am on GB or US. I want to delete US but want to make sure i delete the right one as I have bookmarks

Also when Windows starts up i get 2 Firefox browsers open. How can I get rid of the one I dont want as first one has my favs

XUL Runner platform version 129.01 is not compatible with 129.0 miniversion 129.0 maxversion 129.0 When this happened at first I did not have the use of Firefox. I then went to Firefox and down downloaded Firefox and started over. Then I went to go to my bookmarks and could not find them, bummer. I was on a teams meeting because I wanted to do a study session with someone on another country. As part of the homework I needed to do, I needed to listen to some audio. I changed my windows audio devices to output through the Communications device for the headset. Then I played the audio on a tab. The audio played for a few seconds before stopping again.

I understand that this is behaviour intended to let you take a call or meeting without having to manually pause any open tabs you might not have at hand, but I would like Firefox to understand I really want that audio to play without thinking it knows better. Is there any way to disable this behavior?

I've always been able to type a new web address directly into my browser bar. Firefox no longer allows me to do that. It reverts back to the original address, even when opening a new tab to start over. I also can no longer type into the Google search box. It tries to take me to the browser bar instead, and then I can't go anywhere. Help please!

When I am on the Facebook app, after a while I have to sign in again, starting a question about accepting cookies. Also when I have started Firefox and I click on Facebook I have to sign-in again, before I clicked on Facebook and it was there. Can you please help me?

I try to login to My Virgin Media. Enter my email address - OK. Virgin checks and then asks for password. Enter password, chek it is correct and press sign in. Absolutley NOTHING HAPPENS. O Google Chrome this dadta logs me in immediately. HELP

Something happened, and I lost many of the mailboxes in my Joshua Calev account. The Joshua Calev 1.jpg shows how my listing looks now, and Joshua Calev 2.jpg shows how it used to look. Where can I find those missing files (I do have a backup) to restore them? I can't just backup my whole Thunderbird as I'm using 4 different accounts (that's what I love about Thunderbird) and that would overwrite the latest emails I received in my other accounts.

I am using Thunderbird Beta 130.0b1 (64-bit).

2 DAYS AGO I got an XUL error notice in my UP TO DATE Firefox. Tried turning on or off at times hours apart no use.

Getting by with other browsers in the meantime. But today At about 1:40 PM CDLST 15 August 2024

my computer locked up completely. Several dialog boxes stacked up and mouse and keyboard were ineffective it gave a virus name which I did not write down and a purported Microsoft number to call but I ignored it. Turned off my computer turned on and ran scan with Malwarebytes software NO INDICATION OF INCIDENT

The help page advice for XUL does not have the assurance NOTED AT BOTTOM.

IS THE FOLLOWING TRUE FOR ALL REMEDIES INVOLVING UNINSTALLING AND REINSTALLING FIREFOX? INCLUDING XUL ERRORS?

ASSURANCE The solution is to remove the Firefox program and then reinstall Firefox. (This will not remove your passwords, bookmarks or other user data and settings which are stored in a separate profiles folder.)

I did not upload the two "uploaded" images you see at the bottom to this thread. They were actually used in my previous post, but immediately upon opening this post, they were already there.

I cleared cache and cookies, relaunched, but they still remain.

BTW. wasn't there a "Preview Post" option here before? Not now, at least for me.

EDIT: Now, after I just posted, the "Preview" button is there. But why, if there is no reply to preview? It's still not here in "edit" mode.

let's keep it as brief as possible.. i have no idea what the hell the degraders of cloudflare are doing, for the past YEARS all sites that required cloudflare worked just fine, and now i lost access to multiple sites on firefox because of the cursed "are you human: captcha loop" i'm looking for extensions, i'm seeking github codes that i don't even know how to execute. the loop keeps demanding me to change the browser to a chromium.. isn't this supposed to be treated as a targeted cyber crime? from google against mozilla? how do i fix the captcha endless loop?
