Since last update, when I am in email and select an image to download to my computer, it pops up in my browser. I have to right click to "Save As" to get it to my downloads folder, then click the back button of the browser to get back into email. Very frustrating. I have gone into firefox settings and set everything that I had an option to download to computer. It has not solved the problem. I have noticed in the application box in firefox settings, there is not an option of IMG, JPG, or PNG. Really need some help. thanks!

With a new tab, I ask a question, like 'When is Easter in 2025?' Nothing comes back to me, I just get a blank page. However, It still operates my Bookmarks. I tried clearing the cache but this didn't help. Other browsers, like Chrome, still work OK. Any suggestions?

When I attempt to use the copy and paste options from the Edit menu in Firefox, they are not working. Recently my Firefox does not load previous tabs when I closed Firefox down at night. I tried not closing my browser and that worked a couple of days. (always shut down my computer at night and restart it in the morning.) But that even does not work now. Everytime I restart my computer and open Firefox it starts with only a blank tab. I have read all the associated questions on here and tried everything posted, but to no avail. Do I need to go to a different browser to not lose my tabs? Please give me some help because this is irritating to start Firefox and not have my previous session tabs open. AND there is NO "restore previous session" available. Going through the history to try to find the tabs I'm looking for is a pain and NOT a viable solution. Thank you for your help in advance.

Out of nowhere I started having problems watching Videos on Twitch. So, after some Flatpak repairs and reinstalls, I decided to sync my data with Firefox Sync and remove it completely. For my surprise after reinstalling and logging in on Firefox Sync my only extensions and, what looks like part of my history were restored. Lost my session, custom tabs names etc.

I have a problem when using Firefox to connect to my BT email. I get an message from my Bitdefender security suite saying it has blocked a suspicious connection. Resetting Firefox and reloading my apps does not fix it. Running Firefox in Troubleshoot mode does not fix it Downloading a fresh firefox copy and new addons plus keeping my bookmarks does not fix it. Using Ghostery Dawn in Firefox does fix it. Any advice on how I can get rid of this pesky suspicious connection please. Its name is: prod5-cdata.sprinklr.com.s3.amazonaws.com

If an URL already have many tags or longish tags I can no longer see suggested tags when starting to type tags. Image example illustrates. This URL already have the following tag list:

1942, Air_Ministry, boost, cruise, memorandum, MP, rpm, Spitfire, Spitfire_MkIX, Spitfire_MkV, Spitfire_MkVI

Old behavior was if started to type ", spi" it would list suggestions:

Spitfire Spitfire_MkIX Spitfire_MkV Spitfire_MkVI

Easy & clear to select from.

Now it lists all already existing tags before each suggestion:

1942, Air_Ministry, boost, cruise, memorandum, MP, rpm, Spitfire, Spitfire_MkIX, Spitfire_MkV, Spitfire_MkVI,Spitfire 1942, Air_Ministry, boost, cruise, memorandum, MP, rpm, Spitfire, Spitfire_MkIX, Spitfire_MkV, Spitfire_MkVI, Spitfire_MkIX 1942, Air_Ministry, boost, cruise, memorandum, MP, rpm, Spitfire, Spitfire_MkIX, Spitfire_MkV, Spitfire_MkVI,Spitfire_MkV 1942, Air_Ministry, boost, cruise, memorandum, MP, rpm, Spitfire, Spitfire_MkIX, Spitfire_MkV, Spitfire_MkVI, Spitfire_MkVI

Suggestions are scrolled right invisible outside the input box.

Who thought this was a good new feature? It adds nothing, I can already see existing tags, why would I want to see them repeated for each new suggested tag (while not actually seeing the suggested new tag)?

How can I turn this *!$&@! off and return to old behavior?

How to save all browsing history. I seem to have lost all past history and now, only the session history is kept until log off? I do not know when my history was deleted it was a few days back but how do I customize my settings to save my history?Thanks for reading

Hello, there is no audio on my PC when I click on the audio button from dict.cc and dict.leo websites. I click it and the tab says it's playing audio but there is none. The audio button used to work and I didn't change anything. Other sites like YouTube work fine. How can I fix it?

I have a pinned tab (from Distill Monitoring addon) that always has to be pinned. And thats ok. But the problem is that every few minutes, new duplicate pinned tabs emerge so that around 5 or 8 of them emerge. I only want one pinned tab open, not several duplicate pinned tabs. How do I fix this with CSS or other means?

I'm using openSUSE Tumbleweed and KDE Plasma. Ever since I updated to Plasma 6.1, Firefox crashes constantly when using Wayland. I'm not having this problem if I'm using X11. Crash reports are sent after every crash so I'm sure someone can reference these. When starting Firefox from a console, I got this message after a crash: "[GFX1-]: Wayland protocol error: wp_linux_drm_syncobj_surface_v1#67: error 5: explicit sync is used, but no release point is set"

Will this get fixed with the next Firefox update? Currently using 127.0.

Here's what happened: I had installed Firefox on a different computer using my current profile backup copy/pasted, into

C:\Users\Al\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\s99pq6qr.default

& it worked ok .... but when I signed out & back in days later & launched Firefox on the new computer...

The problem is that it had 2 profiles on the new computer...mine & a generic one ..& that generic one became the starting or DEFAULT profile... obviously without all my data....so I backed out & later deleted that one generic profile so mine would be the only DEFAULT profile used. 

But from then on trying to use my profile on the new computer copy/pasted from my main laptop that I’ve had FF on for10 years...failed .....as it kept using the generic one...& all attempts at fixes to get only my backup profile used didn’t work...so.... & had to do a complete uninstall of Firefox using REVO..as it finds all folders & files hidden around places....but ....after REVO uninstall I found more folders &files of Mozilla & Firefox all around in my C drive...SO..after eliminating everything I could & starting over ...by downloading a new Firefox browser application on the new computer ...but before running the set up files... Now... I want to reinstall Firefox on this different computer ....& make sure that only my backup profile is used!

I was going to try Backup assistant.... But HOW DO I LOCATE & USE/RUN Backup assistant?

BUT...I DON’T WANT TO “Switch to a new device.” I WANT TO KEEP IT AS IT IS ON MY CURRENT DEVICE ....AND...WHILE ADDING IT TO MY NEW COMPUTER TOO (I might be confused at the term 'switch')

Unable contact seller on Ebay, error "Firefox Can’t Open This Page To protect your security, www.google.com will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it. To see this page, you need to open it in a new window."

Added ebay.com to exclusion list for security in Firefox. I am not able to ope this link in a new tab. Appears to be a bug.

I have Yahoo.com as my email provider (Firefox is my internet provider). When I get emails I don't want, I move them to the Junk Email option BUT, it only deletes that specific email and does NOT keep it from being sent again (and they ARE, repeatedly). I contacted Yahoo and and all they do is send me to a website that will answer the question but sign me up for a monthly $46 to $55 fee. Any way known that I can solve my problem?

This may be more of a Firefox sync problem, I'm not sure, but either way it is irritating. Every time I open Firefox it has me signed out of all my google accounts no matter how many times I select stay signed in or keep me signed in. I don't have the setting for deleting cookies on and I don't believe anything on my computer is clearing cookies without me knowing, and I personally do not clear cookies often if ever. If anybody knows what could be causing this any advice/help would be extremely useful and greatly appreciated, thank you.

Ever since I switched to Firefox a few months ago, i've noticed that the audio on youtube music vids cuts out when I put the video on a loop sometimes. Moving the play bar to a different point/time on the video fixes it but it is extremely annoying. Can anyone help with fixes? Thanks
