Firefox displays text on the .xml page as html code instead of rendering is as normal text. The layout and images on the page look as they should.

There is nothing wrong with the page, as it is rendered perfectly in Chrome.

In addition, this page doesn't display at all on the phone. When I click on the link it asks me to download it and then asks me which app I want to open it with - instead of simply rendering the page.

I have seen some old threads on this topic, it looks like this issue haven't been resolved for few years.

My question is not just about fixing it in my browser but at the root cause. This page is the RSS feed of my podcast which many people want to access and many use Firefox as their browser. Unless I tell everyone to use Chrome instead.

I am already logged into my main account, when I click on my profile picture in the top right in order to add accounts/sign into other gmail accounts, I get this error:

"403. That’s an error.

We're sorry, but you do not have access to this page. That’s all we know."

I tried clearing cookies and no help.

Bare in mind this is on a fresh firefox install on a new desktop, I have been using firefox on my other desktop with no gmail issues like this.

After clearing the cache I could no longer view the MeWe site.I cleaned out the cache because I was having problems viewing Facebook.That fixed my Facebook problem but now I can't view the MeWe site.It will appear for about half a second and then all I see is a blank page,please help! Any advice given would be appreciated,thanks in advance.

My add-on and default profile have disappeared after I entered safe mode. The browser window restarted with a new interface with different settings and all my add-ons were gone. There reason why I tried out safe-mode was to restore my open tabs which were lost after firefox updates but still showing in history without the possibility to restore them. Currently, I have three profiles in about:profiles but non of them contains my add-ons data. They all appeared as if I am opening the browser for the first time. Inside the profiles file explore, there are 5 newly created profiles see attached screenshots.

Things I did, Cleared cache, refreshed the profiles and restart the browser nothing works.

What is going on. :(. This sucks. I had special add-ons which contained my valuable settings and now they are all gone.

I am trying out a Linux (Fedora 39) with enhanced privacy (hardened firefox with the user.js from Arkenfox). My problem is the following : When I quit a video that was in full screen with Esc. the inner window dedicated to the webpage resizes to a smaller one such as the one seen in the screenshot.

I fixed that by going into troubleshoot mode and the window went back to its original size and then reactivated my extensions but the same problem appeared when following the process aforementioned.

Any idea what could be causing this ?

I made a fack saved login called ilove123.com

and i had the password be 123

i then clicked the three bars selected help selected more troubleshooting information and selected open folder of my profile

i selected loginsjson searched for ilove123 and it was found

i then removed the saved login ilove123.com

and i repeated the process of reopening profile folder

i selected loginsjson lookked for the login it was not there

but when i selected loginsbackupjson

it was there!

which can only mean my login that i accidently deleted is also in the loginsbackjsonfile of my current profile

but how do i decrypt it?

On page there is selection on top left of page where you can choose left or right arrow to choose next video arrows do not work. They work on edge and chrome

Hi! After recently following the upgrade path from FF v52 to the most recent FF version, I find that logins in logins.json did not carry over with the upgrade. Out of 555 logins, only 44 appear. (I suspect these may have been imported from Chrome, since FF also imported my Chrome bookmarks without acknowledgment.) I see that the old logins are still in logins.json, and logins.json appears to be valid JSON when opening with FF.

I tried ensuring that logins.json, key3.db, and key4.db had matching timestamps, but that didn't correct the problem. I tried replacing key3.db and logins.json with copies from a backup of the v52 profile (it has no key4.db--is key3.db no longer used?), but then zero logins appeared (why I think the ones that do appear may originate with Chrome). I tried exporting logins to CSV, but it only captured those 44. I can see the logins are in logins.json, but the passwords are hashed/obscured.

I have profile backups, but I don't find a way to import the logins. (If I had to make a wild guess, I'd say the upgrade might have ignored my key3.db that paired with my logins.json, and created a new key4.db full of Chrome logins instead.)

How might I recover my logins from either the in-use logins.json or from my profile backup?

I set up a new installation of Firefox on a different computer and sync'd my account to it. This resulted in losing all of the multi-account container settings on my primary computer. Is there a way to restore these settings? I do have another computer that I have not used since syncing the new one, if that helps.

What could I have done differently to avoid this (possibly on my new device)? Thanks

My default search engine for amazon is set to amazon.nl and I can't figure out how to change it. I'm located in the US. As you can see by the attached image, it is not amazon.com

I synchronized my Mac and iphone Firefox password accounts so I can share passwords between devices. I just realized I've lost all the passwords on my Mac. The only passwords I see are the ones stored on my iphone

Is there a solution to retrieving the passwords on my Mac?

I was trying to get sync to work, I go to sign in and choose my google account, then I make my password for sync, when I press "Create Password" it just tells me "Unverified Session" in a red bar on top of my email, did I do something wrong?

When I open the Microsoft Teams URL in Firefox (https://teams.microsoft.com) it always goes to the login screen for a former employer. When I open the URL in Chrome or Edge it goes to the generic Teams site where I can participate as a guest. I am reasonably confident the connection is residue from when I used Firefox to participate in Teams meetings as an employee, but the connection is preventing me from participating in Teams meetings with potential new employers. I've deleted cookies for both the employer and the third-party two-factor authentication tool (OKTA), but I can't seem to kill it. The reason I think this is a Firefox issue rather than a Microsoft issue is that I never used Teams with Chrome or Edge and they do not have this spurious connection. Any suggestions? Thanks!

If I Open normal window (not private) then click menubar/3 bar menu (upper right side) and click 'new private window' and then close normal window, it also closed my private window. v121.00

After i moved to another location and getting now internet via fiber and via fritz!-router 7530 i have issues with readability in many cases: Google News, Mailbox at GMX. To the 7530 my notebook is normally connected via WLAN. Text is in places often not shown, or colored in black or green or magenta, Images are often in places or complete filled with flicker (white, green, magenta, black). I suspected the WLAN connection and searched and read the ffox-help und tried some things, but nothing helped. Using a long cable from 7530 to nb has no effect.
