firefox 113.0.2 does not display website correctly

G'day Folks, I have an issue whereas Firefox 113.0.2 does not display website correctly using Win 8.1e or Win 10 Pro. Firefox 113.0.2 does not display website correctly … (funda okungaphezulu)

G'day Folks,

I have an issue whereas Firefox 113.0.2 does not display website correctly using Win 8.1e or Win 10 Pro. Firefox 113.0.2 does not display website correctly The site has a Date and Time line with a colour line underneath it, "The current AU EST Date and Time in Tanilba Bay Australia is - June 1st, 2023 2:34:07 PM" "PC-Bug Fixer draws the line" that refuses to show centred.

Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Bing, etc. all show these items correctly, i.e. centred under the headers above it, but not Firefox 113.0.2.

I have deleted all the History, cache(s), etc., but reloading still fails to show these items as being centred.

Any Ideas please on what I have forgotten to do to fix this anomaly please?

Regards Roger Hass / PC-Bug Fixer now in Tanilba Bay NSW 2319 Australia

For approximately three days now, I can't play any YouTube videos. I just get the spinning icon and suggestion to restart but it never resolves. I have tried a couple things but am currently not all that savvy and just want them to work! They will play fine in Opera, but I hate switching browsers just for that site.

Firefox Crashes Above Version 111.0.1

Need some help with Firefox crashing. System: Windows 8.1 64 Bit instilled on a Samsung SSD, 24 GB free space, 24 Gigs RAM, Firefox installed on conventional HDD (G:\) drive, 1.03 TB free space. This has been the standing configuration for many years, working with no problems.

Problems began with FF update 111.0. Any attempt to download files (.jpg or .pdf) would cause the “save” button to freeze, and after a seconds FF would crash. If an attempt was made to change a setting FF would again crash so quickly it was impossible to attempt any changes. Oddly enough, FF update 111.0.1 fixed the issue (or so I thought) and things returned to normal. I assumed whatever caused the problem had been fixed.

Unfortunately, every update beyond 111.0.1 reverts back to the same freezing and crashing behavior. I have attempted the following with all updates above 111.0.1 in an effort to correct the issue. So far nothing has worked. BTW, Brave and Chrome work just fine.

Cleared out all cache and cookies. Changed download folder Opening in safe (trouble shooting) mode Clean install(s) Disabled hardware acceleration. Putting the entire program on C:\ drive (apparently the newer FF installer does not allow custom installations any more). Checked and updated all drivers

Currently I have disabled automatic updates as none of them have the same freeze/crash issue. I am out of ideas and would certainly be glad to get any advice. At this point Brave is going to be my new default browser. Yes, I know 8.1 is no longer supported but I am not in a position to replace this PC at the moment.

For the love of God, can someone explain who thought it was a good idea to remove the option to sort bookmarks menus by name? Please do not suggest users to open the All bookmarks and using the View > Sort option because it's not permanent, such useless option only applies temporarily while that window is open.

What version must I downgrade to in order to recover the bookmarks sort by name? Because of course the option won't be recovered. Kindly explain who, and why did you decide it was very useful for the end user to delete this option.

Hello, I am unable, for the past 2 days, to load my webmail from Outlook.com (outlook.live.com/mail) and my outlook calendar online (outlook.live.com/calendar), but have no problem to access OneDrive and my other MS apps. I get in both cases a "failed to load Javascript" error messages, failing to load the "chunk 5016797" in mail, and the "chunk 917352" in calendar. Refreshing the tabs, restarting FF, restarting the computer, restarting FF in troubleshooting mode (no extensions) as suggested in an existing thread on this topic, updating FF and updating Windows (still Win8.1, though), didn't help. I access normally both mail and calendar in Chrome, but want to keep and use FF as my main browser. Can you help fixing this JS issue ? Many thanks

Since yesterday whenever I put a video on youtube or any other site to full screen it does not goto fullscreen, the photo shows what I mean I have already tried doing this and it didn't work Go to about:config and make sure full-screen-api.enabled is true and reset the other full-screen-api settings to default while you are there.

Videos also do goto full screen on Chrome so it must be an issue with Firefix not my laptop
