the latest updates to firefox have ruined access to youtube videos causing extensive loading delays and in some cases not allowing the youtube article to load at all using DuckDuckGo youtube runs fine

When trying to login to my AT&T account from fire fox the page continually refreshes and will not load. Microsoft edge will login fine. Anyone know the solution?

Why doesn't developer edition doest have a flag like web security disabled like in chrome to bypass cors issues for local development . I am planning to switch from chrome to mozilla but now I am disappointed because I can't use it for my local server development..

This is a repeat of a problem that I posted a couple of weeks ago. I am unable to log in to my New York Times account on Firefox (other browsers work fine). I have reset the password several times but it still doesn't work. I had a response to my previous question that led me to disable Total Cookie Prevention for that site. Thereafter the Times seemed to work properly and I stated that the problem was fixed. However, the fix lasted for only a short time and it is again acting the way it previously acted--I can't get past the first page to the full stories. There must be something else at work, but I have no idea what.

This issue is only on two computers (24" iMac running Sonoma) - others at the client site work normally.

Client has up to date Firefox (127.0.2 - also tried latest ESR) full screen with multiple tabs - config set to use system print dialog by default. Print - print dialog opens, print is sent. Tabs are now greyed out, cannot type in text boxes. Changing context (opening and closing About Firefox) restores normal function.

set up a new profile - same issue.

Any suggestions?

Since downloading latest update, requested by the software, it takes 2 or 3 times longer to go to most websites, but it takes 10 times longer to go to a Youtube video. (Generally 10 to 30 seconds).

About once per week, I'll be using Firefox and it will stop working. I'll close it and open it again and it gives me an error message "The application "Firefox" can't be opened."

If I download Firefox and reinstall it, everything will work fine for another week and then it will do it again. I'm not doing the same thing when it breaks. It does it on both my Mac Mini (macOS 14.5) and my Mac laptop (macOS 12.7.5).

It just started happening in May on both. Nothing has changed on both that I can think of.

Since my last upgrade my You Tube starts up in the tiny right hand screen, fails to go to full screen or just disappear unless I close Firefox and restart often multiple times. This only happens on Firefox and only since the last upgrade.

Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. Hello, when in the library, pressing F6 is meant to "Focus Search Field". This is documented at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly

However, since a recent update this no longer works. Instead, pressing F6 now switches the keyboard focus to the lefthand tree pane. A further press of shift+tab is needed to move to the search box.

My questions are: Has F6 stopped jumping to the library search box for anyone else? If so, was this a deliberate design choice? Does anyone know of an alternate keyboard shortcut to jump to the searchbox? Finally, is there anyway to revert to the old F6 behaviour?

Even if you can only answer the first question that would help, so I can determine whether or not it is just my Firefox. Although I have already tested in a brand new profile with the same results.

I'm sort of fed news that are often "Pro-women" by pocket in the name of thought-provoking stories. I feel that this has to do with some brain-washing agenda. I don't want to see these stupid pro-women news slapped on my face every time I open Firefox. How to show "pro-human" news that include both pro-men news and pro-women news?

Right now, I'm seeing many "Feminist news" rather than anti-feminist news. So, I'm completely blinded by one side of the coin. Here's the problem. Even when I see these feminist news, it's always positive about them. There are no "Redpill, MGTOW, MRA, MRM" news which is obviously the other side of the coin and I do see it, it's often negative. I see a bias here. I don't want that bias to be fed to my brain.

In short, I want to see a balanced view or "Pro-male" news because I'm a man. I don't want to be fed all these "Pro-female" news to me.

Hello, I use Duck Duck Go as a default search engine, with Google and others as alternatives. Since I switched my compter, Firefox resets the default engine back to ebay, which cannot be deleted in the list and also shows up in the address bar. Could you please tell me how to get rid of it? Recently firefox stopped playing audio, I have searched through the settings multiple times, tried safari and google chrome and they both still work so here I am for help.

Running 127.0.1 (64-bit) on EndeavourOS, KDE Plasma, using Wayland. I've had severe crash issues and when troubleshooting I noticed this

Error: Failed to open Wayland display, fallback to X11. WAYLAND_DISPLAY='wayland-0' DISPLAY=':1'

pops up every time I start Firefox via terminal. Why wouldn't Firefox be able to open a Wayland display? Trying to force it with MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 firefox doesn't do anything. I get the same error message.

I recently installed Firefox and I keep getting crash notices, even when it is not open/running...

I have verified this through the task manager...Nothing named Firefox or Mozilla is running...

I don't have this issue with either Brave or Chrome, and I have, and keep updated ESET software, so I KNOW this is a Firefox issue...

Unless this issue can be corrected, I will have no choice but to uninstall it, as I don't need software that crashes even when it is not being used...
