I have checked the "Always ask you where to save files" box in settings, but it is being ignored. I tried clearing the the "Save Files to" field, but that doesn't empty.

Firefox 129.0.1 (64-bit) running under Win 10 Pro on a Dell XPS 8910.

Can you (firefox dev team) team remove the fucking idiot features that auto my localhost domain to https? i typed 'localhost' and it's "https://localhost" i typed '127.0.0.1' and it's still "https:/127.0.0.1" i typed 'http://localhost' and it keep "https://localhost"

what the fucking idiot idea? i got that fucking isue over 2 years, through firefox and use chrome insteal, now i back with firefox but still got that fucking idiot thing?

I use Firefox Nightly 131, because it have vertical tabs, but why you still have a empty top bar? can I hide it?What's the difference between that and horizontal tabs? It takes up just as much space.

When I click on an email web link Firefox insists on opening a new profile rather than adding a tab to the existing page.

I cannot find any options to tell FF to open in the existing profile. This seems to be a relatively new happening.

I have a subscription to the FAZ and have always been able to read it in Firefox. Now that I have a new computer with the latest Windows 11 and the latest Firefox, I can no longer open the page https://zeitung.faz.net/. But it works fine in Google Chrome. Please tell me which settings I need to change so that I don't have to change browsers.

I am looking for a way to lock align a zoomed in site (when horizontal scroll bar is visible) to the right instead of default alignment to the left when I open next page.

i run Firefox Version 115.14.0esr (64-bit) on my older MacBook with OS 10.12.6, which I must use only to run Quicken for Mac 16.2.4. My other MacBook runs OS 14.6 and I would like to update Firefox on that machine, but keep all of the existing Firefox info. Can I update Firefox on the new Macbook and still keep the ESR version on the older machine, without losing all my history?y?

I've run through the steps (updating firefox, my macbook, checking if any of the extensions are interfering via troubleshoot mode) but Firefox still crashes. This came out of the blue and I'm unsure why it's suddenly doing this. Here's the report ID number.

I was working on a work site and every time I wanted to delete an item a pop up would appear asking if I wanted to confirm deleting. I was tired of confirming and there was a box offering to stop the pop up. I clicked it and now I can not delete anything. I checked settings and added the site to allow popups that did not help. How do I fix this?

I accidentally uninstalled the wrong version of Firefox on Windows 10. I uninstalled the Firefox Version I was using. Therefore, I need to get back my current version with my bookmarks. Is this possible? Does Mozilla Firefox keep these on a server somewhere I can download it from?

In the Add Bookmark menu that is accessed from the address bar, the field for adding a keyword shortcut is absent. This is the same menu that is accessed by Ctrl + D. It's ironic that the menu accessed via a keyboard shortcut is missing the field for adding a keyboard shortcut.

"Tags" field is present on all, but I find it orders of magnitude less useful than keywords.

I am not part of an organization. Despite that, my browser is being controlled by an organization and I cannot control how my browser operates. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox several times to try to eliminate this issue and it keeps returning. There seems to be a certificate associated with this problem. "ImportEnterpriseRoots" How do I get rid of this problem permanently?

So I turned on my computer and then opened FireFox and then all my important data is gone. My bookmarks and my passwords just vanished. I've used the same browser for years and have never had an issue until now. It's sucks cause there is years worth of information gone. I tried to load my information form an "Old Firefox data" folder but it has been no luck so far. I am desperately trying to get my information back to the way it was.

irefox detected an issue and did not continue to khulna.land.gov.bd. The website is either misconfigured or your computer clock is set to the wrong time.

It’s likely the website’s certificate is expired, which prevents Firefox from connecting securely.

What can you do about it?

khulna.land.gov.bd has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

No I don't have "delete cookies when Firefox is closed" enabled.

I had two power outages in a row and ever since then every time i close Firefox it removes every single login I had saved even though it keeps the 3GB of cookie data still. I have to copy over an old backup that I luckily had in the Firefox files thanks to Firefox itself creating a backup. Still every single time I close this god forsaken browser I get logged out of every single thing. What am I supposed to do leave my PC running 24/7 without ever closing a browser? Every other basic solution that you can instantly find upon googling something similar to the topic title I already tried so don't bother writing it here, such as "uncheck the delete cookies box" well that doesn't do anything when its unchecked but still deletes everything does it. Bug fix?
