On another post, I saw that it asked for the last 5 submitted crash reports:

I noticed today that there's a small blue cube appears at the tip of the mousecursor inside a firefox window , I guess it's some keyboard shortcut I accidentally activated but can't find any info on where to disable

If I configure DoH in Windows 11, Firefox is unable to make any name lookups.

Originally I had DoH configured in Firefox, I wanted to use a Custom provider so I entered the details, and this worked initially.

I then configured the Windows 11 OS itself with the DoH custom provider, and this also worked in other apps, I could also use nslookup to successfully perform name lookups.

However, after configuring DoH in the OS, when I returned to Firefox, I could no longer access any websites. If I reconfigured Firefox to use CloudFlare or NextDNS with DoH, they also would not work. If I disabled DoH in Firefox and used regular DNS, Firefox was still incapable of performing any name lookups and accessing any websites. Only when disabling DoH in the OS did Firefox begin working normally again. I re-enabled my custom DoH in Firefox and it works as long as I do not enable DoH at the OS level.

Is this a bug?

HelIo the Firefox team, I use Mackbook Pro, while Firefox is my favorite browser. Recently, I encounter an unpleasant and annoying SPONTANEOUS zoom-in and out in pages. It makes browsing impossible and prompts me to go for another browser. May it be a virus? How to solve this? It's really intolerable. Thank you in advance. Yigal.

I use Private Browsing to read a newspaper, not behind a paywall, for the main reason it hides all the adds. But just this last few weeks I keep getting the message "Please allow ads on out site" more and more not a great problem I just refresh the page and like magic gone. I like to open each story in a new tab so when I have read the paper I can have a whole lot of tabs all with just one story so after I read the story I close the tab and still have the paper opened where I left off for quicker navigation in its original tab. I do not have an Ad Blocked running in Private Browsing mode but as you can see the site thinks I am. Is there anything that can prevent this from happening? see attached.

Hi ive noticed that randomly since the update when using firefox ill go to type something into the address bar hit enter and normally it would search with google however it registers me pressing search but nothing happens.

Im trapped as i cant search or choose any links and have to restart the browser unsure why this is happening its my first issue with firefox and the sole reason me making a account to post.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Whenever i open firefox the tabs just crashes. there is nothing but a blank screen with a tab crash reporter. any tab or anything i try to open just gives a tab crash. the crash report is this: bp-92ae3e9d-16cb-4655-a0df-8ce150240816

I'm running Windows 11 and Firefox 129.0.1 I open Firefox, using no connections to any website, still my Avast blocks connection from 3245.UK "because it is infected with URL:Blacklist" , every few minutes. Any idea???

I have the latest Firefox update and can't find the above updates to install them. Please help. Thank you!

When I am on the Facebook app, after a while I have to sign in again, starting a question about accepting cookies. Also when I have started Firefox and I click on Facebook I have to sign-in again, before I clicked on Facebook and it was there. Can you please help me?

I try to login to My Virgin Media. Enter my email address - OK. Virgin checks and then asks for password. Enter password, chek it is correct and press sign in. Absolutley NOTHING HAPPENS. O Google Chrome this dadta logs me in immediately. HELP

I did not upload the two "uploaded" images you see at the bottom to this thread. They were actually used in my previous post, but immediately upon opening this post, they were already there.

I cleared cache and cookies, relaunched, but they still remain.

BTW. wasn't there a "Preview Post" option here before? Not now, at least for me.

EDIT: Now, after I just posted, the "Preview" button is there. But why, if there is no reply to preview? It's still not here in "edit" mode.

Most tabs that I open now crash. This has been a steadily building problem that now has made the system basically unusable. I did try clearing history, cookies, etc., but that did not help. Even working tabs can crash when I go back to view them. It doesn't matter if it is a saved site, or a brand new one typed in.

I'm new here so please bear with me if I've posted in the wrong place or have missed something obvious.

I running Windows 10, fully updated, on a laptop. I have been using Firefox browser now for many years, suits my needs and avoid's using Goolges Chrome. My Firefox was updated a in the last few days and it shows as up to date on Version 129.0.1 64bit.

I noticed late last night that when opening a fresh window and enter a search term in either the address bar or the Google search bar, my usual choice of search engine, I hit return and nothing happens. Any text I've input disappears totally. Not at all sure what's going on but have found that if I open a new private window Firefow will act as I'd expect without any issues.

I have two other browsers on my laptop, Edge and also Avast's own offering which both work as expected when I enter a search term. Have never experienced this before with the exception of years ago when malware protection wasn't great. It almost seems as though something is just stopping Firefox from searching anything I enter. I can use the bookmarks just fine and then everything works as usual.

Yesterday I thought that maybe following the new windows culmulative updates I was offered and apparently installed just fine, that I needed to restart which a tried and I thought it had cured the issue. Seems that it hasn't and still having the same issue.

Any idea's or thought's on what the cause of this is?

I've been running Firefox on my HP Pavilion desktop for many years >10+. Currently running Windows 10. After this latest update Firefox continually disconnects itself from the network. Searches no longer work but Chrome and Edge both work perfectly. I can get it to connect but it only works for a few minutes and then disconnects.

Just starting up Firefox on my Windows 11 desktop initiates 9 firefox processes - see attached. Is there anyway to reduce the number of processes and the memory they seem to occupy by possibly going into the Windows registry and making changes to any Firefox configuration settings? If I dont get a satisfactory solution I will have to uninstall Firefox and use the default MS Edge which is not my preferred browser choice.
