The mail.com login page does not function. It loads but all the tabs on the drop-down log-in menu are dead. At the same a long list of text tabs appears on the left side (superimposed over page in light blue print). These text tabs function, but there is no login option among them.

I have tried refreshing and opening a new tab, nothing works.

The page works fine on Bing.

The failure began in late July.

Hello,

I am encountering an issue with my website (https://cxfileexplorerapk.net/12-best-file-explorers-for-android/) when accessed through Mozilla Firefox. Specifically, I am seeing an error message that says, "An error occurred," and it is affecting the functionality of [describe the specific feature or page affected, e.g., automated workflows, forms, etc...

I have tried clearing the browser’s cache and cookies, disabling extensions, and ensuring that Firefox is up to date, but the problem persists.

Could you please provide guidance on how to troubleshoot this issue or let me know if there are any known compatibility issues with Firefox? Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support.

I have used Firefox before, and I want to confirm that what i could do in the past is now no longer possible. In the screenshot, you see in the "Home" section, you are able to pick what shows for your home page and new windows. Then you see What you can choose to happen on new tabs. I have set it to pull Google's home page. You used to be able to set the new tabs to whatever you wanted as well. However, you no longer can. Is this the way it is intended to work? If so, this should be rethought. No one wants to set their browser to open a new web page whenever they want to look something up, much less just in general to get to their home page. I understand and know that you can add the home button to the toolbar, but that creates an extra step.

Now if this was intended to be this way, where may I express my dissatisfaction with this option?

Dear Madams and Sirs,

i hope you can help me.

As a (web ) developer (and fan of Firefox) I use Firefox every day and i restart the browser serveral times a day.

I use a Dell U3417W as an external display (widescreen, notebook display is deactivated if i use the external display) under windows 10 & 11 and i want Firefox at the right half side of the Screen (using windows + right or manuel positioning/resizing of the Firefox window).

At start of Firefox, first it will fit the right side of the screen without any offset (last saved position from xulstore.json) - only for a very short moment. Immediately after the start the window will automatically repositioned to an offset of appox. 5px from the right/button position (see attached screen). Then i have to use windows + right or mouse drag to the right border of the screen to get the right position again.

At next start of Firefox the Firefox window is at the same offset position again.

I searched the web for serveral ours to find a solution: I tried to Refresh Firefox, delete xulstore.json, i have only the standard dark theme active (FF 128.03 and earlier versions, now in win11, win10 the same), tried the fingerprint.. = false approach, nothing works.

Firefox is the only application with this behavier. Chrome, Edge i.e. does not have the kind of shifting...

Thanks in advance and greetings from Berlin

Daniel

I just installed Firefox on a new Windows 11 desktop computer. I ported my profiles over and it appears everything came over EXCEPT: - Themes aren't working. I've tried switching them and they still don't display. The menu bar is black w/white letters; the toolbar is gray with white icons/letters. - My extension icons are there...sort of. If I hover over them I can see the tool tip but the icon doesn't appear on the toolbar which is light gray in color. I can live without the themes if I have to. Not so much the invisible extension icons. Any suggestions as to how I can get them to appear as they do on my Windows 10 desktop? Screen cap below. Cursor is hovered over the Undo Close Tab extension icon but where's the icon? Any suggestions as to how to troubleshoot this will be appreciated!!

Recently I opened a website that had redirected me to some random site, I closed the tab immediately but now I keep getting spam notifications saying I may have a virus or various things from the site. I've tried to silence the site, I've ran security tests on my computer and they say it's fine, I just don't know how to silence the website or wipe it from my computer.

Firefox is, without a doubt, the best browser I have ever used, and I mean it. It's privacy oriented, great GUI, and is overall customizable. But, there are definitely some things which need improvement ASAP, such as the following: When I mouse over the top of my screen, Firefox semi-exits full screen mode and displays the toolbar. It is extremely annoying. Please make this an option somewhere; for me, even a hacky fix will do. Please, just help me get rid of it. Thanks :)

Hi all, I have a docker container which is running Ubuntu 20.04 and the lightweight desktop GUI. I need Firefox up and running in order to access the application for which was the intended use of this container. However the lightweight desktop apparently doesn't have some of the services running like systemd and snap. There is a binary named "Firefox" already installed at /usr/bin/firefox but I've tried "systemctl start firefox" but that didn't work. Any ideas on how to get Firefox up and running? Thanks Norm

I keep getting: Save Login for http://blabla.xyz?!!

if i say 'never' it just keeps asking.

now your saying. aah. thats cause it cannot differentiate a ipv4 and a hostname.

The gethostbyname() function returns a structure of type hostent for the given host name. Here name is either a hostname or an IPv4 address

i wonder then what this browser does. not remembering by name. here thus the word never is better replaced by -> ask me again next time.

I live in a rural area without cable or DSL broadband. Our only options are Satellite or wireless. The wireless version is either cellular or over the air microwave. We chose the over the air version with a dish about 18"

in diameter. My ISP's network enters the net somewhere west of Fort Worth. I am about 100 miles away. Is there a procedure to manually set my location so the store and restaurant locations are relevant to me? Thanks for the help.
