When I am using Google sheets in Firefox, I've noticed lately that using the mouse scroll wheel causes the sheet to scroll all the way down right to the very bottom of the sheet, rather than slowly one or two lines at a time. This has started happening recently, and it doesn't happen under Chrome or Edge. What is going on?

For a few months now I've been having issues uploading firmware files to my QNAP server's website. I was trying to update the firmware, but it wouldn't allow the file to even be uploaded. Would just get a general "error" with no help.

This past week a started having issues with 7digital.com not allowing me to download zipped music files. It kept giving an error about the oauth token not being passed through. (Error: Authorization failed for method <GET> and URL <http://media.geo.7digital.com/media/user/download/release>. Missing oauth_consumer_key)

Finally figured out that this is only happening in Firefox, Brave browser and other Chrome based browsers don't have the issue.

I've tried turning off the tracking and download protection in settings, but it didn't help. So, what's causing it?

Using Firefox 128.0.3 (64-bit) on Linux (NixOS).

For the last 2 weeks I started having problems with Firefox working consistently. Sometimes only tabs crash, sometimes Firefox crashes. It is not tied to any actions, a tab can crash even if you don't perform any actions in the browser. I have tried clean install on Fedora and Vanilla OS, native and Flatpak packages. The result is always the same - tabs or Firefox crashes every few minutes.

Hi How can I find and merge duplicated bookmarks in "Other Bookmarks". I've looked at some answers on the web but none seem to say anything about merging within a folder

I had to uninstall firefox due to an error. I kept receiving an xulrunner error when I tried to open Firefox. I researched this and found that uninstalling the app fixed the issue. However, I have lost all of my saved passwords. Is there any way I can get them back?

Even if you change the setting of Firefox about:config from "true" to "false", it will automatically change from "false" to "true".

privacy.userContext.enabled 

If you change "privacy.userContext.enabled" from "true to false" and check after restarting Firefox, it will revert to "false to true." It is unclear why it reverts to the original state.

After updating to Floorp 11.17.3 (based on Firefox ESR 128), all my pinned tabs now scroll with normal tabs. So, if I have enough tabs open that I need to scroll to see them all, my pinned tabs scroll to the left and go out of sight. Before update they were always in place, and only unpinned tabs were scrolling. Is there a way to make them stationary again?

Hello, My saved passwords do not work on certain sites on my Windows 11 computer and my Android smartphone. I have repaired firefox,and created a new profile as advised by members of the French forum.i have also created a new account. On the computer only, I no longer have the subtitles on the skillshare site. When I go to pinterest and deezer, the page does not display normally. I can't see the images in the duckduckgo search either, because I've been redirected to a non-javascript site. I had ccleaner, it was suggested to me that the problem came from there but I uninstalled it before creating the new profile. I also have bit defender free on my devices. Thank you.

I'm trying to set up Firefox on a new Windows 11 laptop and having issues.

First, I installed a couple of Add-ons and set them up, I use one to have a Home Page, and another for zoom percentage. And I went into each one and set them up as I want them. But when I closed FF and reopened it, they were gone, as if I didn't install them at all. And all the changes I made to the top part of the browser - icons and overall look - reverted back to what FF is "out of the box."

Also, on my old laptop, I went into about:config and changed the ui.textScaleFactor because the default FF top part is too wide for me. But when I went into it on the new laptop, and changed the number, nothing happened. On the old one, when you enter a different number and hit enter, the change is made immediately.

Also, I did make FF my default browser on the new laptop, at least I think I did. I clicked the link to do that, and it brought me to a window with a bunch of confusing extensions. I changed them all to Firefox, including E-Mail, and I don't even want FF being the default for E-mail. And I did click the check on top and clicked "Make FF the default browser." But when I open FF, I keep getting asked if I want to make FF my default browser and to pin it to the task bar. But it already is!

I should point out, that it's possible I downloaded FF twice, and may have installed it twice. But when I go to Install/uninstall files, just one is listed. And I only have one FF icon on my desktop.

So what is going on?

As the title of the subject entails, I am trying to disable Firefox's new translation tool, becasue I'm using a 3rd party extension.

I tried to follow the solution on the following support thread ( [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1434741#question-reply] ), but it didn't work for me, and I'm still seeing the new translate button.

Is there another way to fix this?

I'm using Firefox 129.0.1 (64bit) for MacOS.

Today I was forced to reinstall my PC (nothing worked, a lot of problems etc). I was told that I don't need to use any backup for Mozilla (even if I wanted, my PC problems would not allow me to do that) because yesterday I've made a sync. After couple of hours of reinstalling the system I wanted to sync my account to get back my Bookmarks and turns out that sync does not restore them. I have all my plugins and that's all, none of the bookmarks. I've lost literally years of saved data.

At first I thought it was Facebooks issue but when I shared using Edge or Opera browser the share dialog DOES have a share button at the bottom of the share pop up dialog. Using Firefox, for what ever reason, it's cut off at the bottom so I have no way to share and have to copy the link and walk it over to Facebook or wherever to share anything. When I'm using Chrome Browser every Google related products working smoothly but when I'm using Firefox except (Google) every other websites working smoothly. I even clear cache a lot times & troubleshoot the Firefox too but still facing such problem. It just display No Internet Connection message just for Google products.

I need the information so that I can stay signed in permanently. In other words, not entering my password every time I use Roboform.

I've had the program for many years. I had to reinstall it.

If I configure DoH in Windows 11, Firefox is unable to make any name lookups.

Originally I had DoH configured in Firefox, I wanted to use a Custom provider so I entered the details, and this worked initially.

I then configured the Windows 11 OS itself with the DoH custom provider, and this also worked in other apps, I could also use nslookup to successfully perform name lookups.

However, after configuring DoH in the OS, when I returned to Firefox, I could no longer access any websites. If I reconfigured Firefox to use CloudFlare or NextDNS with DoH, they also would not work. If I disabled DoH in Firefox and used regular DNS, Firefox was still incapable of performing any name lookups and accessing any websites. Only when disabling DoH in the OS did Firefox begin working normally again. I re-enabled my custom DoH in Firefox and it works as long as I do not enable DoH at the OS level.

Is this a bug?

I changed pwd for my firefox acc 2-3 month ago and after it I was logged in only on my laptop. One week ago I changed OS on my laptop and forgot that while U changed pwd U also logged off from all devices. So I cant reach my acc from my 2nd laptop and my phone cause I don't remember pwd. I only remember pwd what was before that one. So I restore it. And now I haven't my pwds, bookmarks, extensions etc. What I can do now? Can I restore all this things?
