I opened Tbird to see what version the new Ubu 24.04 installed (115.12.0, which I discovered wouldn't be published, so I downloaded v.r.2. In this set of FF (127.0.1) pages now, the mouse wheel will not scroll. It works everywhere else in my installation (24.04).

Ideas?

FF settings have "smooth scrolling" checked; unchecked it did nothing to improve. mouse is a ~recent Logitech (M317c) which as noted, works in all other apps.

I have been using [edited] @comcast.net as user name for Firefox account. I want to delete that email because I'm leaving comcast ASAP. I read instruction that say add a new email name as a secondary account and then delete the primary one above. I entered [edited[ @gmail.com. I got a message that said that account already exists. Since I didn't know that or remember any password for it, I entered [edited] @gmail.com and said "forgot password." I changed it Now Firefox won't let me in using the [edited] @gmail.com account. Would appreciate any help you can offer.

Download Web plugin to access my Security DVR. When I type in the IP of the DVR, firefox will momentarily go to the plugin but then says it needs to be downloaded. HELP

I need to create a pdf file to share with an agency in another country that does not have Firefox. I am unable to create a simple pdf - all of the files are automatically Firefox pdfs. All attempts to convert this file to a regular pdf have failed. Please help!

I recently switched from windows to Linux, and was using it for 3 months now. It was due to window recall Feature. But still i was using chrome as default and daily browser. I wanted to explore firefox, its great actually, except 2 things which might need me to switch back to chrome or brave.

1. it don't have fu**king Profile switch, I mean i use 11 Profiles On Chrome, most people still use 2-4 profiles, how can we move to a browser that dont support profiles. I know we can add profiles by "about:Profiles" I tried it. It worked but guess what? To switch profile i have to manually go to that page to launch it. So much time consuming and frustrating. Why not simply add a btn on profile pic like chrome to switch profiles?

2. Add-ons is good thing, but there should be a way to install things from chrome web store, i not found any.

If firefox can fix these two things firefox can simply grow back to 30+ % market share, but if not people will just test l;like me and go.

why do i get a message that firefox has crashed. what has happened. i am not satified with firefox. it is very slow and sometimes crashes.

but the main question is: what can i do right now.

When I used to take screenshots, they would be automatically named with the date, time, and part of the text captured regardless of language. A few days ago and with no reason I can discern, it now saves any non-English screenshots with something like this "Screenshot 2024-06-23 a[...].png" instead of "Screenshot 2024-06-22 at 08-02-28 Politics Policy Polit[...].png" (usual for English text and what I used to get with all languages).

Which means I have to manually rename screenshots. Does anyone know how I can fix this because I am working on a project with lots of screenshots for topics from different languages?

For two days will tab crash for TikTok. For years, will not allow access to certain sites and no contest entries for the last few months. Worked before. No phone help and to download the browser doesn't work. I was upset as won't load TIktok and I NEED IT as use it daily. Please fix it ASAP!! I wasted time contacting Monzilla, as was only link for Firefox. They told me no help wasted today.

There is an issue with 3 extensions: 1. Briskine. 2. Simple Gmail notes. 3. Boomerang. This issue is taking place only when Briskine is active and only on Firefox.

When Briskine is active Simple Gmail notes does not display at all. Boomerang does not display correctly so there is no access to the full screen and options.

This only happens with Firefox, not with Chrome or Edge. Also, it is a know issue that's been going on for a while. I wish it could be fixed. Thank you Adam [removed phone# and email from public support forum]

I deleted McAfee. I cleared the cache. When Firefox opens it opens to qowin.co.in

How do I fix this?

how are shortcuts created on my "new tab" home page in firefox browser. I used to be able to create the shortcuts I wanted, not random shortcuts that I might have visited once. Now shortcuts appear that I don't want. I know I can remove them by dismissing them but I should not get them in the first place. Please help.

When im starting my computer, suddenly this program with old firefox logo auto starting on windows taskbar, i cant open(maximize) it....when i hover to that old firefox logo, it just shows random text......

If i'm opening task manager, that program or something is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\AlphaPress under the name update.exe.....i alrd close that program, delete that, and running malwarebytes, but didnt find any threat.....If u can reassure me that it wasnt dangerous malware or anything....maybe some real firefox update?

When I search for a Hebrew-language video on Firefox the resulting link text overlaps with the English text “Translate this page” for all YouTube videos. I don’t want any page translated and my Firefox Translation settings include no languages. The overlap only occurs on YouTube video links. How can I get rid of the “Translate this page” text? I'm working on ASUS, on Windows 86bit. If I reboot my PC g-mail works again for a couple of hours. I have no problem accessing my g-mail accounts from Chrome.

Often, when I go to history and try to restore session..it is greyed out. it occurs randomly, but It ALWAYS occurs after an update. This is so frustrating! It never happened on Edge or Chrome, not once. I know it might seem Karen-like fuming about it, but when you have dozens of important tabs open and they don't restore you too will become a karen. I'm almost about to uninstall Firefox because of it

I am trying to view uploaded videos in to my work portal and when I try to view the video this is the error message I receive. I am running WIndows 10 on my desktop. My Windows is up to date and I have cleared all cookies and still not working. Please help. Thank you

I can only get Google Chrome.
