Good Morning, I have always used Firefox for my online banking. I could pull up my bank, put in log in information, put in my Authenticator code and I would be in. Now.... After putting in the authenticator code it gives me a white blank page with the tab Submit Form. Over the weekend with working with the Bank, trying all types of scenarios, closing cookies and history, shutting down the computer, etc. they suggested installing and using Google Chrome and I was able to get it to work. My question.... I still tried Firefox and I can't get it to work....did something change? Did I mess something up? I am ok with using Google Chrome just have always used Firefox. Long ago I developed muscle memory to type in the main part of a website domain and complete it with Ctrl-Enter in the address bar.

That supposedly adds the www. prefix at the beginning and .com at the end.

Works great except that it seems to append "http:// to the beginning. That often results in a warning that I'm trying to go to an insecure domain.

How can I modify this behavior to append "httpS://" to the beginning to avoid all of these warnings?

I had to reset my pc as it wasn't performing properly . I am using windows 11. When the reset was finished a new windows version installed itself on my pc . I now have 2 windows 11 installations on my pc - an old windows 11 and a new windows 11 . My desktop and documents , etc , pulled through into the new windows 11 installation , but my Thunderbird did not . I never backed up my Thunderbird as I presumed that with the pc reset , it would automatically pull Thunderbird into the new windows after the reset. I then reinstalled Thunderbird onto the new windows , but it did not pull through my Thunderbird data from the old windows installation.

Please could you assist in helping me to retrieve all of my Thunderbird Data from the old windows installation into the new windows installation.

When I try to download any file it says "Failed". I changed the direction of the folder where the files are saved, checked every download setting in about:config, reinstalled Firefox, gave Firefox administrator privileges but nothing helped.

This error has been occurring since I switched from a NVIDIA gpu to an AMD gpu.

Parts of some web sites will not open.

See below, there is no button.

If i log in to Scottish Power through my Ipad there is a button.

The autofill function works great for forms and applications but not so much when I'm entering online contests. When they ask me for my TikTok, Instagram, or Twitter username, it will not autofill those. I always have to do it myself in FireFox. But Microsoft Edge doesn't have that problem. Why doesn't it remember what I type in for those types of entries?

I mistakenly dragged a text from a search box and dropped it on my browser page. If this text is a url (Ex: www.some_site.com), Firefox will navigate to that page. How do I prevent Firefox from opening dropped links on pages?

When I click on the print icon of an email (on MacBook Pro, Mac OS 14.6.1), it gets stuck on the message "preparing document". Any suggestion on how to solve this?'

For languages that don't put spaces between words there's a Unicode character zero-width space - ​ aka ​ - that a browser is supposed to use as a cue to break a line. Firefox ignores it.

Hello Everyone! I have been using Firefox (and a computer!)since about 2004! I am also well past my 'sell-by' date and would appreciate if any details are included in a reply, that they are explicit, my technical ability is around "O" ish!

Suddenly, a couple of months ago, my Emails in FireFox started opening to the right of the main 'panel' and were foreshortened.

Replying to any of them reduces the visible reply area to either one or two lines of text, making it difficult to see and be able to judge any editing.

I have been using Facebook Messenger to video chat with my close friends and family in UK and as I live outside UK, I have found this necessary. Firefox has just stopped allowing this facility. I now have had to install a different browser to be able to carry on this method of communication.

With all these difficulties, I am considering uninstalling Firefox, which I am unsure about any longer.

If there is/are any advice or suggestions, I would be grateful to see it or them.

Ever since I upgraded to Firefox for Mac 129.0.2, I've been getting errors trying to log in pretty much everywhere. Not Mozilla, but Chase, Reddit, etc. On the first try, I always get an error about not being able to establish a secure connection, along with the offensive suggestion that I try a different browser or the site's app. It generally works on the second attempt, but it's not working for Reddit today, although I get the same "different browser" message. Also my sister has been locked out of Chase using Firefox for iOS 129.1 (and I think also .2), so I am worried about where this is going.

My system is old: a late 2012 MacBook Pro, running Catalina (macOS 10.15.7), the highest system it can run. Please don't suggest I upgrade my hardware unless you are personally willing to pay for it; I can't.
