Hello, My saved passwords do not work on certain sites on my Windows 11 computer and my Android smartphone. I have repaired firefox,and created a new profile as advised by members of the French forum.i have also created a new account. On the computer only, I no longer have the subtitles on the skillshare site. When I go to pinterest and deezer, the page does not display normally. I can't see the images in the duckduckgo search either, because I've been redirected to a non-javascript site. I had ccleaner, it was suggested to me that the problem came from there but I uninstalled it before creating the new profile. I also have bit defender free on my devices. Thank you.

I get this sometimes when moving/backing up profile contents, even when the the eventual path of the moved contents will be shorter than the original.

I have a problematic profile, so I copied it's contents to another folder with a shorter title in the same directory, but I prevented from including the file in question.

In this particular situation, the file in question is an .html file opened in a session tab. I assume It's omission not going to be detrimental.

Has anyone seen this sort of thing occurring with files that directly affect profile operations? I'm wondering if that sort of thing might be contributing to my current recurring profile issues.

I want to sequester Address Bar Function in the main address area for web address or native locations, from search function contained inside of the window, the search should be only a web search, but I think that part is covered in standard settings, so address. Thanks Much

I'm trying to set up Firefox on a new Windows 11 laptop and having issues.

First, I installed a couple of Add-ons and set them up, I use one to have a Home Page, and another for zoom percentage. And I went into each one and set them up as I want them. But when I closed FF and reopened it, they were gone, as if I didn't install them at all. And all the changes I made to the top part of the browser - icons and overall look - reverted back to what FF is "out of the box."

Also, on my old laptop, I went into about:config and changed the ui.textScaleFactor because the default FF top part is too wide for me. But when I went into it on the new laptop, and changed the number, nothing happened. On the old one, when you enter a different number and hit enter, the change is made immediately.

Also, I did make FF my default browser on the new laptop, at least I think I did. I clicked the link to do that, and it brought me to a window with a bunch of confusing extensions. I changed them all to Firefox, including E-Mail, and I don't even want FF being the default for E-mail. And I did click the check on top and clicked "Make FF the default browser." But when I open FF, I keep getting asked if I want to make FF my default browser and to pin it to the task bar. But it already is!

I should point out, that it's possible I downloaded FF twice, and may have installed it twice. But when I go to Install/uninstall files, just one is listed. And I only have one FF icon on my desktop.

So what is going on?

Hello. How can I post HTML code snippets in support.mozilla.org questions ? All HTML code is rendered and none of the usual markdown (``` etc.) works.

At first I thought it was Facebooks issue but when I shared using Edge or Opera browser the share dialog DOES have a share button at the bottom of the share pop up dialog. Using Firefox, for what ever reason, it's cut off at the bottom so I have no way to share and have to copy the link and walk it over to Facebook or wherever to share anything. See the images below...

Hello. I am not familiar with this end to end encryption that Facebook now does for Messenger but now when I try to use Video Calling/Chat it tells me it is not supported by my browser, Firefox. I have never had any problems with it before. Is there a fix? Thanks

I need to connect to my employers Citrix portal tot start a Citrix session for my daily job. The problem is that when try to login using my credentials nothing happens except for the loading icon of Firefox that keeps "spinning" (see image).

When I do the same in another browser, like Chromium for example, everything works fine.

I already tried the following steps:

- Installing an older version of the Citrix Workspace app - Reinstalling Firefox - Disabling the blocking extensions

I am using the following versions of components:

OS: Linux Mint Vanessa 21 Citrix Workspace app: 24.5.0.76 Firefox: 129.0

Other colleagues report the same issues when using Firefox whether in Windows of Linux.

Any help would be much appreciated?

Couple of days ago I could not start up Mozilla Firefox due to a corrupted file. Naturally, I was immediately worried about my bookmarks, extensions, browse history...

In the end I re-installed Mozilla Firefox -without removing my old folders on C-drive and in AppData- and was able to recover my old bookmarks and extensions just fine.

However, for my old browse history I am not so sure. I have not found a way to restore those.

Could someone help?

I have been using Firefox as my primary browser in Windows and Linux Mint for many years, and I have always found it to work when other browsers would not. Recently (last few months) functions in Ancestry.com stopped working. I thought that the problems were within the Ancestry system, and getting help within Ancestry was very difficult. I finally got a help chat session a short time ago and learned that everything in Ancestry should work using the Chrome browser. Very reluctantly, I loaded the Chrome browser on one of my Windows 11 computers, and suddenly all of the functions within Ancestry worked properly. I sincerely hope that FIrefox will soon resume being fully functional with Ancestry.com.

Hello, I would like to ask you why i can't translate on greek and russian althought i already downloaded the languages in the translator's settings? Can you help me to fix it.

I tried a 2022 sourced help answer result content but it was broken, and that seemed to be the most recent gainful help response connected to my issue, another variant from elsewhere did not work at all, it was probably older still, so I need working code for the most recent version of Firefox Browser, or however recent enough to not so conflict. Much Appreciated.

I am on FF 129.0.1 on Windows 10 laptop. I download financial data from several sources using the .qfx format which is fed into personal finance software (Moneydance). Everything works well and download history shows all downloads from banks, but does not include downloads from my brokerage. Is this something the brokerage is doing or some setting that I can control. Thanks for any help in explaining this.

I'm using 128.0.3 (64-bit) for Windows, on Windows 10.

1. I open Firefox normal window. It has some pinned tabs. 2. I open an additional private window 3. I close the normal Firefox window. Only the private window remains 4. I close also the private window 5. I restart Firefox normal window. The pinned tabs have disappeared.

I'm having a difficult time logging in. I probably need to get started all over again. I locked my self out by too many attempts to log in. I'm totally lost and probably need to start the process all over again.

I need to get the first date I accessed a page via link. In the browser history that date is displayed however when I click on that link again, the date gets updated to the current time. This destroys the original access date. Is it somehow possible to get a real history about each time an URL was visited?
