many websites don’t have logos appear when a Firefox ios favourite is pinned. they also don’t automatically name properly so pinned favourites are difficult to use.

note— i am currently have more than 2 rows of pinned favourites but many are useless (unidentifiable) unless i can rename them. Ability to rename is not available with 3 or 4 lines of favourites pinned

without pinned favourites readily identified, this browser is unsuitable and i have to revert to using other browsers

Windows corrupted my user profile so I lost everything... how do I get my bookmarks from Firefox iOS to my desktop PC?

When I sign into my desktop Firefox it has nothing - I am worried if I sync my iOS firefox it will delete all my bookmarks?

How do I export bookmarks either on my iphone or my iPad? All the instructions seem to be for desktop. There is no ‘manage bookmarks’ at the bottom of the bookmark menu. Desktop is not an option.

I don't understand where some bookmarks are when using iOS.

For new bookmarks, I see a row of "Recently Saved" pages on the home page. But I can't find a "Recently Saved" folder in the bookmarks menu.

When I sync with MacOS I see the new bookmarks in a new folder "Mobile Bookmarks". But I can't find a "Mobile Bookmarks" folder on iOS.

Finally, on iOS, I don't see how to access the bookmarks I added to the Bookmarks Menu in MacOS.

Recently, when I type in the URL bar, there is only 1 suggestion from my bookmarks. Before, there were several bookmarks that show.

I want the previous behavior back so that I only need to type a few characters and then choose one of the suggested bookmarks in the list of results. Now, I need to keep typing a lot more characters/words before the 1 bookmark I want shows up. Sometimes I can’t recall enough of the full URL so the bookmark I want never shows up.

This is a big downgrade in the user experience. Is there a setting to go back to the previous behavior?

I'm tryin to swap over to firefox from chrome vbut I can't see my bookmarks. It seems that the desktop version supports a bookmarks toolbar but the IOS version doesn't. t wouldn't be so bad if I could see ALL my bookmarks on IOS but I can't. I can't find any way of accessing them.

I don't need a bookmarks toolbar on IOS, I just want access to those I bookmark on desktop into the bookmarks toolbar.

Any ideas?

in the bookmarks page on iOS devices, Why can't we swipe back to the previous state and we have to press the previous arrow, Is it an issue or just something else?

Would want to make this post along time ago but I thought users and developers would notice it.

I have Firefox on my desktop and iPad and both are synced. I love Firefox on my desktop but, honestly, I have to continue to use Safari on my Ipad because the iOS version of Firefox is nowhere near as good. One of my biggest obstacles to converting to Firefox on my iPad is trying to save bookmarks so I can access them on my desktop. When I bookmark a page on my iPad I cannot find it's location on my desktop. Can you please advise where Firefox places bookmarks that are saved on my iPad. Thanks

  For couple weeks , following any external link/reference, such as all 'unsubscribe' links from Apple Mail messages, Firefox opens but homepage rather than to the link/url argument (and url field shows blank, not display the extrrnal link's url address in url input box.
  Support history shows an identical problem in Ff ~117 reported (Aug '23, I think)   (if the condition of Firefox not currently running is same, which I haven't yet been able to determine) and apparently resolved then ( 2 replies, but thread is not visible because FF Support has it recorded as "Archived").

Hi - after deleting then reinstalling Firefox on my ipad I found that all my bookmarks had disappeared. I’ve tried re-syncing bookmarks to no avail, and tried to follow instructions to find my profile (‘about:profiles’, enter) but just reverts back to the same page so can’t progress, tried settings/troubleshooting but no sign of my profile folder let alone ‘Application Basics’. Are my bookmarks permanently gone? Any advice would be much appreciated (I should say I’m not the most computer literate so very probably there’s something I’m not doing right!) - many thanks, Cheryl.

Help! I’m trying to access my saved articles in airplane mode while traveling. This used to be no problem but new app last year won’t let me. Tell me the secret of how to do it! Thanks.

I can’t get the app on iOS to download without a messed up bookmark setting, which means the settings button will not open! Please offer a solution? I installed and reinstalled, plus I’ve tried to delete files folder etc, but the iOS download is holding onto the old file system, which I messed up. I purposely restarted a brand new account, after five to six years of using my old account, but that changed nothing. The bookmarks aren’t even holding on to Mozilla Firefox desktop site book markers?
