Every time I try to click on Firefox is says "Hmmm. We're having trouble finding that site" We cannot connect to the server at mail.google.com" or "We cannot connect to the server at news.yahoo.com"...any site I try to connect to from Firefox gives same message.

But I can get in to Chrome and Safari and all other applications with no problem.

I use Mozilla Firefox for work. Part of my work requires I use the GlobalProtect VPN client. When I log on to the VPN, everything appears to be fine. The problem arises when I log out of the VPN client, such as needing to switch to a different VPN.

When I log out of the VPN client, Mozilla slows down massively. I get the following errors when trying to access websites.

PR_END_OF_FILE Timeout

I thought it was a DNS issue, but the change I made previously did not prove to be a reliable fix, and I do not actually know the root cause of what is happening. Firefox returns to normal ONLY after a full computer restart. At this point I am considering switching browsers as, despite Firefox's functionality, it is starting to interfere with my work.

I have used other VPNs, such as Fortigate VPN, and not encountered anything like this.

Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.

Firefox is labeling *.CSV downloads as "Firefox HTML Document."

I don't see *.CSV files in the "Applications" list for file handling.

The mime-type on the download is set server-side to "text/csv".

I don't know how GoDaddy got onto my computer but I know that it came through Firefox. I'm 89-years-old and not great with computer technology. Does anyone know how to get GoDaddy off my computer? Will it disappear if I unsubscribe to Firefox? Please help. Thanks.

I just started getting this error:

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.newsmax.com.

I cannot find how to make this stop. I will get emails from Newsmax about articles and if there is something I want to read I click on the link in the email. I never had a problem with Firefox not opening the link. This just started and I can not get the link to open. I have Newsmax set up as a home setting. However, after I got the Secure Connection Failed error, I could not open the Newsmax web page even if I typed in www.newsmax.com. I am about to uninstall Firefox and use another browser. Can you please tell me how to fix this?

Hello, I did everything mentioned in support articles, but the tabs on firefox are still crashing frequently, sometimes the first I open, sometimes it's the third... But it is making my work really difficult. I used to be able to download an .ics file directly from a Gmail email, then click on it in the download folder shown on the top menu bar to import it. It would automatically open my Google calendar and import the event. NOT NOW! I got rid of everything Outlook, only want Firefox and Google. What do I need to use, to get my .ics files to work properly again? In the screenshot, you can see I associated it with Firefox because I did not know which app to use that is NOT OUTLOOK!! Since some days Firefox stops working. My query appears in the field but when I click on Enter nothing happens. I have tried to repair, to delete the cookies, to desintall, nothing helps. I therefore keep Firefox only for some websites (my favorites as mail). I do all other researches on another navigator. Do you at least have an explanation ?

I am having troubles accessing the browser. I get to do endless security check every time I open Firefox for anything. I have to undergo several puzzles "I am not a robot" before any page opens and this happens every time I go on the web. even if I did this a Mn ago am being asked again and not only one puzzle to resolve but sometimes up to 10 in a row. This is so time consuming that I am now considering leaving Firefox to work on other browsers although I always had Firefox as my default browser. Thank you

I had to reset my pc as it wasn't performing properly . I am using windows 11. When the reset was finished a new windows version installed itself on my pc . I now have 2 windows 11 installations on my pc - an old windows 11 and a new windows 11 . My desktop and documents , etc , pulled through into the new windows 11 installation , but my Thunderbird did not . I never backed up my Thunderbird as I presumed that with the pc reset , it would automatically pull Thunderbird into the new windows after the reset. I then reinstalled Thunderbird onto the new windows , but it did not pull through my Thunderbird data from the old windows installation.

Please could you assist in helping me to retrieve all of my Thunderbird Data from the old windows installation into the new windows installation.

Parts of some web sites will not open.

If i log in to Scottish Power through my Ipad there is a button.

When I click on the print icon of an email (on MacBook Pro, Mac OS 14.6.1), it gets stuck on the message "preparing document". Any suggestion on how to solve this?'

For languages that don't put spaces between words there's a Unicode character zero-width space - ​ aka ​ - that a browser is supposed to use as a cue to break a line. Firefox ignores it.

Ever since I upgraded to Firefox for Mac 129.0.2, I've been getting errors trying to log in pretty much everywhere. Not Mozilla, but Chase, Reddit, etc. On the first try, I always get an error about not being able to establish a secure connection, along with the offensive suggestion that I try a different browser or the site's app. It generally works on the second attempt, but it's not working for Reddit today, although I get the same "different browser" message. Also my sister has been locked out of Chase using Firefox for iOS 129.1 (and I think also .2), so I am worried about where this is going.

My system is old: a late 2012 MacBook Pro, running Catalina (macOS 10.15.7), the highest system it can run. Please don't suggest I upgrade my hardware unless you are personally willing to pay for it; I can't.

I have just got a new machine running Win 11 and installed Firefox. When I compose a new email the text appears very small, despite the size for text that I've set. The only way I can change that is to Zoom, which I have to do for each new email that I write.

I am having trouble when logging into a specific website.

The login process is to use login URL(https://online.torfx.com.au/CustomerPortal/login.htm), then enter my email address and password.

Once I select Login, the website should then show my dashboard URL(https://online.torfx.com.au/CustomerPortal/dashboard.htm) but when I use Firefox, I get the Secure Site Not Available error (see attached screenshot).

If I use either Chrome or Edge, I do not have this problem and if you check the status of the connection on both these browers, they say that the Connection is Secure and the URL shows as HTTPS:// , so it appears that Firefox has this issue.

Does any one have any suggestions/advice etc?

I tried to reinstall Forefox, could not. Went to setting > apps to unstall firefox. Could not fine firefox in the apps. I went to Deflit Apps. and could not fine it there. But every time I turn on my computer Firefox comes up on the computer. How do I uninstall, if there is no app. I tried to reinstall firefox but it keeps getting an error that it wasnot able to install

Firefox autofill always fills my phone number as +!(xxx)xxx-xxxx, despite most forms not accepting the country code. I have tried to remove it in the saved autofill address, but it keeps putting it back in. This makes the autofill not work. Why can I not disable this!?!?!?!
