Sometimes some sites in firefox just refuse to load but when I take the same time in to google chrome it works just fine, this is such an annoying issue as its seems to be just random, sometimes sites work and other times not, and its always the same times, like youtube, gmail, and amazon always work, and i have firefox download in another pc and firefox works fine, i tried to unistall it with revo, i tried to reformat it and same issue,

In Australia, a lot of organisations are forcing native languages upon us. How can I block these words? I do not want to block the website....just the words in Native Languages.

I think this is a new feature that let's you add background wallpaper. I tried it out when I was signed out and it seemed to work. But after I signed in with my Firefox account it doesn't show up.

Thunderbird automatically updated to v128 earlier this week after I went to Help - About Thunderbird to check that it had updated to v115.14.

Everything seemed okay immediately after the update, but when I started Thunderbird the next day it was very unresponsive. Checking the Activity Manager showed that Thunderbird was indexing messages, but that this was happening very slowly. I let Thunderbird do its thing that day in the hope that things would settle down.

The next day when I started Thunderbird things were still bad. I tried Rebuilding the Global Database but when I restarted Thunderbird it was just as bad, if not worse.

I then turned off indexing in the Thunderbird settings and Thunderbird is now responsive and back to normal.

Is anyone else seeing anything like this? Any suggestions to fix the problem?

I am a long time Thunderbird user so my profile is very large with a lot of accounts, and has been through a lot of Thunderbird versions, so it is potentially more complicated than normal.

Thunderbird version is currently 128.1.0esr (32-bit).

For the last 2 weeks I started having problems with Firefox working consistently. Sometimes only tabs crash, sometimes Firefox crashes. It is not tied to any actions, a tab can crash even if you don't perform any actions in the browser. I have tried clean install on Fedora and Vanilla OS, native and Flatpak packages. The result is always the same - tabs or Firefox crashes every few minutes.

I used to use Virgin email but now have Thunderbird. Over the last few days when I get a notification of new message I get it twice. How do I disable the virgin ones.

Without any warning about half of my folders disappeared as did the icon for writing a new email, as you can tell by my lack of jargon, I am not very skilled in the world of software, just an essential user, so any suggestions welcome, up to and including a 'takeover' by one of the actual software engineers, please advise.

It used to be that Firefox would remember where I saved similar files (from the same webpage I assume) in the past and save them to the same directory. That doesn't work anymore and I cannot find any setting for that. Now it always suggests the most recent place I saved to.

When I am using Google sheets in Firefox, I've noticed lately that using the mouse scroll wheel causes the sheet to scroll all the way down right to the very bottom of the sheet, rather than slowly one or two lines at a time. This has started happening recently, and it doesn't happen under Chrome or Edge. What is going on?

Even if you change the setting of Firefox about:config from "true" to "false", it will automatically change from "false" to "true".

privacy.userContext.enabled 

If you change "privacy.userContext.enabled" from "true to false" and check after restarting Firefox, it will revert to "false to true." It is unclear why it reverts to the original state.

When I try to sign in to YouTube using my Google account, it automatically sends me to an old university sign on website that is no longer valid. This only happens on the iOS version of Firefox. Is there any way to block this website?

Hello, My saved passwords do not work on certain sites on my Windows 11 computer and my Android smartphone. I have repaired firefox,and created a new profile as advised by members of the French forum.i have also created a new account. On the computer only, I no longer have the subtitles on the skillshare site. When I go to pinterest and deezer, the page does not display normally. I can't see the images in the duckduckgo search either, because I've been redirected to a non-javascript site. I had ccleaner, it was suggested to me that the problem came from there but I uninstalled it before creating the new profile. I also have bit defender free on my devices. Thank you.

I just got a new machine running windows 11 Home, I installed thunderbird just two of my email acconts and I can't see emails. The titles are there when i try to view don't get anything. I go back to my windows 10 set up I see my messages. Thank you in advance for your help..

I have a gmail account and all E-mails are forwarded to a roadrunner account. The E-mails in the roadrunner account are downloaded using POP3.

I am now setting up Thunderbird, and connect it to the roadrunner account using IMAP. For some reason, several forwarded E-mails in roadrunner Thunderbird Inbox are missing. They are, however, showing on the roadrunner Server. (They are also still in the gmail account).

To troubleshoot, is there some way to "refresh" the inbox or download the messages again??

I'm trying to set up Firefox on a new Windows 11 laptop and having issues.

First, I installed a couple of Add-ons and set them up, I use one to have a Home Page, and another for zoom percentage. And I went into each one and set them up as I want them. But when I closed FF and reopened it, they were gone, as if I didn't install them at all. And all the changes I made to the top part of the browser - icons and overall look - reverted back to what FF is "out of the box."

Also, on my old laptop, I went into about:config and changed the ui.textScaleFactor because the default FF top part is too wide for me. But when I went into it on the new laptop, and changed the number, nothing happened. On the old one, when you enter a different number and hit enter, the change is made immediately.

Also, I did make FF my default browser on the new laptop, at least I think I did. I clicked the link to do that, and it brought me to a window with a bunch of confusing extensions. I changed them all to Firefox, including E-Mail, and I don't even want FF being the default for E-mail. And I did click the check on top and clicked "Make FF the default browser." But when I open FF, I keep getting asked if I want to make FF my default browser and to pin it to the task bar. But it already is!

I should point out, that it's possible I downloaded FF twice, and may have installed it twice. But when I go to Install/uninstall files, just one is listed. And I only have one FF icon on my desktop.

So what is going on?

I am unable to printed from the Firefox browser on Android. This used to work but just stopped a while ago. I can print from other apps like Acrobat and Google Docs. I have reset everything, updated the printer drivers, etc. It would be very convenient to have this capability back as it limits the utility of Firefox on my phone.

Browser ver. is 129.0. Phone is a OnePlus 9.
