My system specs is as follows

i5-12400 32gb DDR4 3200mhz 250GB SSD as main (wd blue NVME)

Whenever I play 8k 60fps video on youtube it lags and get massive frame drops with igpu sitting at 100% usage. With other browsers like chrome and edge it works 100% can play 60fps 8k video without any issue.

I am using apache tomcat web server at 127.0.0.1 If I access Windows r %mis_int% it is opening https://127.0.0.1/postofficeinterest.html However it is displaying the warning: Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead To resolve this error I used to perform following action: Tools => Settings => Search Trust => Click View Certificates => Add exception => provide https://127.0.0.1/postofficeinterest.html Click Get cerfiicate Click Confirm security exception Press Ok Refresh https://127.0.0.1/postofficeinterest.html This is displaying updated page at local host. However I am having clogall shell script inside bash.exe (putty.exe) at localhost This used to clear all cache and files at /tmp and $TEMP directories at windows and cygwin. Due to this if I open %mis_int% again it is reporting same security warning. clog actions: 1. cd /cygdrive/c/Users/MURUGE~1/AppData/Local/MICROS~1/Edge/USERDA~1/Default/Sessions Remove all https...microsoft all wastage of memories Remove all cookies at banking/post office session related entries I need to know how to remove exception "Potential Security Risk Ahead" without adding localhost certificate again ? clogall never use .cer *.crt related sed -i actions. I recently migrated my Firefox profile from a windows 10 to a windows 11 computer. Everything seems to be working fine except saved payment methods.

My cc info appears when I go to type in card information on a website, but when I click on it and press enter or tab, it disappears. My saved payment methods in settings appears empty, and the add button doesn't do anything.

What can I do to fix this?

browser.cache.disk.enable, is re-enabling itself on every Firefox update. WHY?! I disable disk caching and SSL caching because I use a fast NVMe SSD and I don't want to use up all the write cycles to it.. cookies caching is fine with me...

It has been doing this on every update for a while now.. this is annoying and not ok.. please fix.

This SAME topic has been asked in MANY of the Threads - And a Moderator has locked EACH of the threads it seems - But NO ONE seems to be able to tell us - WHY the "''''Ask whether to open or save files''''" does not work anymore.

I had to reinstall Windows 11 and all my files and programs a few weeks ago - and since then - I found the above does NOT work anymore. Now, I have a boat-load full of documents in a Downloads folder - when ALL I wanted to do is open and look at the various files that I received - BUT NOT save them.

I tried to leave or make the """"""Save files to"""" field BLANK - which I thought would be a great solution as Then the "ASK" prompt would HAVE TO ASK you where you want to save or NOT save the file - but it won't allow you to do that either!

bold text My firefox browser has somehow gotten the Easy Login browser hacker, and it is causing me numerous problems including; A. It's icon is blocking part of my firefox screen; B. When I seek to go to an address, it opens a different address...

I use Mozilla Firefox browser on my work laptop, and have it Sync'd to my iphone. Yesterday my sister opened Firefox, logged me out, and logged herself in, to access some things. But instead of closing my profile (bookmarks, saved PWs, etc.) it MERGED hers with mine. Now, on our laptops and phones, we see each others bookmarks, saved PWs, etc. How can I unmerge them? Pls help!

I'm a long time FF user, the developer edition is my preferred browser. It suddenly started crashing, a complete removal and new install did not help.I posted a help question a couple of weeks ago but no workable solution surfaced unfortunately. I assume the problem is still the same.

ps. I'm currently using the standard FF verison and it runs smooth as ever....

I can't recover my bookmarks. I've used both available sites and it still isn't working. "Unable to process the backup file." And when I try to recover the HTML using the converter, it says; "JSON.parse: unexpected end of data at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data".

I first mentioned this in r/Firefox, and was asked to re-post here.

My FF just updated to 127.0.1 even though I have "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" and told it to wait. This was on a Windows 11 box. Everything seemed fine, but then one of my tabs crashed. I selected the reload tab option, at which point it informed me it could not load the tab because a background update had happened and I was now required to restart Firefox.

I'm not certain what version of FF I was on, I believe it was either 126 or 126.0.1.

Now, to be completely fair, I cannot with 100% certainty say that I clicked on the update later option. That said, as I _did not want to update then_, and I have put off the update before, it seems unlikely I would have made the mistake, but I wasn't recording everything I did so I can't play it back and prove it. My initial reaction was to associate it with the tab crashing somehow, as everything was working as expected right up until that moment.

Hello! Google won't keep me logged in onto their services on Firefox, so that means for every time i open up Firefox I have to re-log in. I don't know why this happens, and I want to keep myself logged in onto google services but I don't know how to toggle it. Please help thank u!

I see this is a known bug but this bookmark sidebar has suddenly started to appear on my desktop when ever I open Firefox and there seems to be no understandable method to turn it off although there are several arcane techniques that require me to go to weird places and change the names of files. No indication of what the unintended consequences of that might be. Is this something you can fix? Will the next update. This is really frustrating. Help please. So to be sure, I do not consider the challenge of getting into the pants of a program to fix a bug to be fun, exciting, interesting, etc. This is a tool and my browser is acting up. That is a pain in the butt not an adventure.

I have a new computer with windows 11 and eset. eset used to open my browser to specif bookmarks for my banks and brokerage accounts. but not now. what is wrong. 127.0.2 and eset 17.2.7.0

I log into my bank account. I can see and control my checking and savings pages normally. When I click on my credit card page all I get is a blank page with the message "Working on it" it worked fine but opened a little slow prior to 127.01 or 127.0. I'm not sure which version it started failing in. However, it all works fine in Brave as does YouTube. I don't want to switch browsers or have multiple browsers and I would prefer one that doesn't depend on Google but I also need to be able to depend on it. I am running win 11 on my new computer but my old computer and laptop are win 10 with Firefox 127.02 and my bank account sight works fine. The only problem is the YouTube problem and that's across all of my computers.

So, I've switched to Firefox as my main browser (I was using it before, but as a secondary option) and I've spotted this native extension called Pocket.

When I pressed it, I was on YouTube Music already, so it automatically saved that url. Now, the reason of contacting support is more of concern than anything. When I pressed it, a weird message has been attached to it, so I am wondering why, as it is confusing to say the least. I've attached a screenshot with the saves, which also has the weird message and YouTube for comparison next to it.

When Firefox opens up the address is typed in at top left in small print. The center bar is there, open, but if you click on it, while the cursor blinks, when you type in an address nothing appears as it does with Google Chrome which we have replaced with Firefox. My wife finds the top left print too small and wants me to go back to Google Chrome where she can read what she has entered. I cannot find anything, anywhere which will allow her to do this. We use Thunderbird and have made a few donations over the years. Hope you can help.
