I changed the screen shortcut icon for https://mappingsupport.com.

Then in the profiles folder, I renamed the file favicon.sqlite, closed Firefox and restarted my PC. But when I saved the mappingsupport shortcut to my screen, I still see the old shortcut image.

I also tried going to Privacy and Security where I deleted 'Cached web content'.

How do I tell Firefox to get rid of that old shortcut image and use the new shortcut image instead?

Chrome on my PC saved the new shortcut icon to my screen. My iPad also saved the new shortcut icon to the screen.

The issues I am facing with outlook mail seems to have occurred within the last 3 months. I have used outlook in Chrome and there is no issue. I have gone to the Microsoft site and there are several complaints that Outlook is not usable with Firefox. On my company machine, I limit my personal email to Firefox.

Other web pages seem to be fine, just outlook mail. I use Firefox for most of my testing & personal and Chrome for corporate browsing.

The issues start occurring after about 5 min, within the last month. I am a MacOS user and I have v.104. The issues face range from not limited emails listed, missing icons, javaScript drop-downs not working, not being able to delete emails, not being able to restore emails.

When I refresh the page, more recently Outlook crashes. My cache for Outlook is around 13-14Mb. When I clear the cache, things are fine for about 5-10 min. Frequently when I update Firefox something stops working the way I want it to. So after the last update I disabled updates. That was a while ago (version 89) and my browser was getting pretty stale. So I backed everything up, reenabled updates, and now I have version 104.

And, of course, something is broken now. The context menus when I right click are not functioning as before. The userChrome.css is still there in the chrome folder in my profile and has the same contents. The option toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets is set to true. But it doesn't work anymore. I added a line to change the color of the tab toolbar and that worked. So userChrome.css is being read and acted upon. But the other command (I whittled it down to just one additional command for testing) is ignored.

Here is what my userChrome.css looks like right now:

But the "Open Link in New Tab" still appears in the context menu when I right click a link. It didn't do this before the upgrade to 104. Did something break in between version 89 and 104 or is it some other oddity?

Firefox stopped clearing browser and download history when the browser is closed. It appears this started after the latest update (104.0). The settings have not been changed, nor have any new extensions been added. Firefox just simply stopped performing this function as it should.

So I tried loading a youtube video and it gets stuck loading, I dont know how else to describe it but when I click play, it gets stuck on the buffering/loading icon and does nothing.

I have tried: Scanning my computer for malware Running Firefox in safe mode Refreshing firefox Refreshing the tab Restarting firefox Restarting my computer Disabling my extensions Disabling my proxy connection settings Disabling hardware acceleration

Under Firefox "Help" menu I saw that there is a link for "Share ideas and feedback". I posted today an idea to Mozilla Connect "Ideas' section to improve Firefox, but it seems to be deleted. My account page shows I posted "1 post", but no post is visible. Is it possible that my post is deleted by admins for some reason? In that case, shouldn't I receive a message for why it is deleted? Title: “Active tab” marker design needs to be changed to make it more functional

Post content: Firefox is my favorite browser. I use several other browsers during my work, as well and the older design of Firefox tab markers (indicating which tab I am on) was much better. Before Firefox ver. 89, the active tab design was more functional as it was immediately clear which tab is the “active tab”. I prepared a visual comparison of how different browsers indicate the active tab. (attached image). Also inserted how it was before Firefox Ver 89. I hope the designers will take this into consideration in the future releases.
