Wow, I guess you have left the USA too! In order for a website to call itself SUPPORT it must actually offer some kind of SUPPORT! Try a Dictionary, maybe an understanding of what the word means will help. I am trying to help a friend set up her web site. To do so I need to access her pages under development. She uses a composer assistant. The produced pages are compliant with http not httpd. They will be ported, eventually. But, for now, I need to override disable "connection not secure" for ONE site. I tried disable HTTPS-Only Mode in Firefox to no avail. What's next to try? (Please don't say trash Firefox unless that's categorically impossible and the only solution.) If I had more time I'd scarf the source and start Hacking. Please, someone offer a usable simple solution.

During unattended streaming I get unwanted notifications that require operator action to "dismiss" the message - see attached. How can I stop the notification from happening?

'Tell me how to stop the installation of unwanted shortcuts .' I was on the computer and I discovered a new shortcut had been placed on my Foxfire browser opening page. I did not place it there so I opened it up. It took over my computer. A supposed "Apple Security Alert" came up wanting me to call a number. It cautioned me about trying to shut down or restart.

I checked with Apple to discover that no such warning was issued.  The alert said not to try to restart my Mac mini as lost files and data could result and harm to my computer.  I took a chance and unplugged my computer, turned it back on and selected my profile not the "guest" opening.  I enter my password, it started up, I opened Foxfire browser and the thing locked up again.  I went through the process again but this time before opening further I selected a restart.  Went finished I was able to open Firefox and found the shortcut that was the guily party.  It was Titled - clownfish-app-nx84d with a URL https://clownfish-app-nx84d with what appeared a million ofter letters to long to get.  I went to the browser settings to play with the shortcut functions but to no avail.  Surely there is some way to only allow for personally programed  shortcuts and no auto placement by the browser. I've been using X-notifier for a long time. It's toolbar button context menu shows you all your available individual email accounts for access.

In the past, in the case of Gmail, it would take you directly to whichever account selected, but now, regardless of the account you opt for, it takes you to you "default/main" account, and you must the go to the Google accounts menu to chose another account.

Is this a Google idiosyncrasy, or is there another Gmail manager that can do do what I'm looking for?

i got a new computer and could not remember the old password to my foxfire account the email was [email]@wisperwireless.com and that is not available at this time. when i tried the phone number it said it was not the right one and i have had it for years. when i got the new computer i tried to sinc it and it did but not with that information with the new account. Any other way i can get the old toolbar icons back

I keep getting the following error message when I try to login to Gmail

"There was an error during the transport or processing of this request. Error code = 103, Path = /v3/signin/_/AccountsSignInUi/data/batchexecute"

I have rebooted my modem/router, cleared cache and cookies and even refressed firefox. Still the same error.

one of my friend uses google. As we live in sweden, We have to visit so many swedish site. But google always translates all those possible to English automatically, and also there is an option comes as you can change the language.

But I do not get the chances here.

Hello, I am disabling dom.forms.autocomplete.formautofill but when I close Firefox and restart it, it's enabled again. I did a refresh but it still stays enabled. Is that setting in effect only for current session? Thanks

I have been using firefox for years. I went to medicare.gov this weekend and was unable to login. I have never had a problem using firefox to login to Medicare.gov. I called medicare and they only told me to clear history and cookies which I did OR use another browser. I am using a Mac and used Safari, but had to turn on Java script to login. I have turned off all addons. Looked at settings, but can not find why I can not use firefox to login to Medicare.gov

I appreciate the effort and work that has gone into Firefox Suggest, but I find that it obscures and hides the real source of the found URLs. I have no way to know if it's from my browser history or bookmarks or from, potentially, external sources.

The possibility that "Firefox Suggest" results might be from external sources (depending on what you have configured) makes it (to me) like an opaque black box in everyday use. And even if the source isn't external, the fact that there even exists a doubt is itself a problem.

So a constructive idea: it would be very comforting if at least local results would be clearly indicated in the results in the address bar. And preferably also a distinction of "history" and "bookmarks".

For the last 2 weeks I have been trying to log into my medicare.gov account and firefox will not load. After I click "log in" it comes back with " can't process your request at this time" tried different computer and it still does the same.. Tried chrome and it works with NO problems. Why is firefox blocking the site???

I am trying to transition myself from Chrome to Firefox. Printing a current page using chrome, all one has to do is "right click" your mouse (that is on the desktop page) and choose "print". How do I print the current page using Firefox? Please advise, Bruce Sabatini

I have Win 11 pro, Computer is new.

I believe after installing a windows update this week KB5018427, There is no sound on Firefox. (was working fine before).

Other browser like Chrome and Opera are fine.

I have cleared cache, reset firefox and the usual troubleshooting (including if the tab is on mute).

All sound drivers are up to date.

Can anyone help?

Hi, I am using firefox browser to show some data on screen. The page include several ajax parts which are refreshing latest data every 5 seconds. I fond that the cache2/entries folder will generate one new file per request. Each file is not large but the amount is huge after I open the page for days. It finally crushed my Linux by following error"a start job is running for Create Volatile Files and Directories". Is there any configuration options can diable output cache to this folder? Any solution to limit the max number of cache files or to remove the cached files while keep Firefox opening? Thanks in advanced!
