I frequently want to include up to date Facebook content on a web page. For example For this I include the following for site https://claybusters.net/

As per the screen dumps it works fine in Google Chrome but is blank in Firefox

Any Suggestions?

I had a Firefox update I believe last Friday 16th August. This resulted in a disastrous event whereby an error message displayed: error message 129. I finally managed to open a version of Firefox but I had lost all my bookmarks and open tabs. I also had to sign in to all existing websites which I had previously automatically had access to. The strange thing was that the version of Firefox that I had opened was from 2022 sometime because of the data that appeared. I am totally devastated by the loss of my bookmarks. :( What can you do to help?

Something out of the ordinary occurred the other day when my copy of Firefox no longer was able to connect to the internet. A bit of searching revealed that my Mac system no longer compatible with Firefox 115.4

The Mozilla website clearly showed that older Mac systems, such as 10.12 10.13 and 10.14 were no longer able to work with the latest Firefox update and to download Firefox 115 ESR version.

After starting it up the newer version just showed a brand new version without any of my often used bookmarks, extensions, history etc.

I believe it’s possible to return all those often used elements to my everyday browser experience but just how, befuddles me! Perhaps there is a website detailing this information?

t's been a nightmare. My Firefox keeps crashing, and it's driving me crazy! I can be in the middle of something important, like researching for a project or catching up on my https://dpforboys.com/ favorite shows, and suddenly, bam, it's closed. No error message, just gone.

I've tried everything I can think of:

Reinstalled Firefox multiple times Cleared cache and cookies Disabled extensions one by one Updated my graphics drivers Checked for malware Nothing seems to work. It's like Firefox has a mind of its own, and it's determined to make my life difficult. I'm starting to think it's a hardware issue, but I'm not sure.

I need help! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Google search has stopped working intermittently for about a month now (August 2024) in Firefox. I haven't seen a real useful fix or explanation of what's going on from Mozilla. Please fix this. It wasn't an issue before.

Some commercial sites will not accept my credit card payment because they say my browser is out of date. Many other sites are accepting and processing my orders. How do I rectify this problem?

When I'm on YouTube I can hear everything just fine. When I go to Chaturbate I have to turn the volume up to 100 and then I can only barely hear any audio. Can you help me fix this please? It might be something very basic that I'm missing, but how do I check volume settings for a specific website? Or is the problem something else? I appreciate any help you can give me. Hi, Hopefully someone can help. This started a couple of days ago. I'm actually trying to log in to my own account on Flickr. If I just input Flickr.com, the main front page loads, if I then go to log in, I get: "429 Too Many Requests You have sent too many requests in a given amount of time" on the screen. I've only hit enter once. As far as I can see this is the only site that does this BUT Youtube sometimes plays up, so maybe something is happening in the back ground with that. Might be totally unconnected.

I've tried using Opera (my main back up) and that loads my account just fine. I've tried turning off the extensions Adblock, No Script etc and the 429 error still pops up everytime I go to log in..

Any ideas? Anyone?

It worked fine until an hour ago. I have tried restarting twice. Each time it works once then stops working. I have tried the about:config route and it didn't work. (It says "true"). Hope it can be fixed! If not I'll be going back to Chrome.

I keep getting the error in the image and can't use my tabs at all . The search loads for 10-15 seconds and then I get the error. I have tried troubleshoot mode too !

I have had this CPU for 8 months. I have had issues from day 1 with the stock Fedora install of Firefox where text is missing and some green and/or pink boxes appear where the text boxes should be. This has happened with all versions up to 129.0.

This has only been happening with Firefox. Vscodium, (chrome based) Brave and every other Wayland application including foot and freecad render correctly. it is only firefox and only firefox with this GPU. If I run Firefox under qemu without eGL then the rendering is good. If I run it under qemu and enable the virtioGL driver I get the same issue.

I attach a sample of a screen shot that shows that was captured from the frame buffer. In the bottom left corner, you can see quite a few characters missing.

I just started getting this error:

Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to www.newsmax.com.

I cannot find how to make this stop. I will get emails from Newsmax about articles and if there is something I want to read I click on the link in the email. I never had a problem with Firefox not opening the link. This just started and I can not get the link to open. I have Newsmax set up as a home setting. However, after I got the Secure Connection Failed error, I could not open the Newsmax web page even if I typed in www.newsmax.com. I am about to uninstall Firefox and use another browser. Can you please tell me how to fix this?

As noted by others about recently-prior versions of Firefox, version 129 ALSO fails to play videos (on Amazon Prime) at HD even though other browsers, Chrome and Edge as examples, work perfectly well. This problem MAY have started with a fairly recent version of Firefox (like 127 or 128). See the post right here by another user, earlier Firefox version, with the EXACT same problem:
