No videos on any platform will play when I try to open them in Firefox. They are forever stuck on the thumbnail image of the video, and nothing happens when I hit play. I've had this happen a couple times and was able to resolve before by installing updates and uninstalling my Mozilla VPN, but this time nothing has worked. I've tried pretty much every solution I could find online:

• Updating Firefox
• Updating my computer
• Running in Incognito
• Running in troubleshooting mode
• Allowing autoplay
• Disabling hardware acceleration
• Disabling addons
• Clearing cache and data
• Enabling/disabling DRM content
• Installing Windows Media Pack

I'm running Windows 10, and videos seem to work fine in Edge, if that makes any difference.

Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. I am deleting or updating accounts linked to an email that was hacked. However, I cannot make changes to this Firefox account that I no longer use because the email that was hacked no longer exists. I wish to delete the account because of suspicious activity. Thank you for your assistance.

I used to use chrome. There, when i add a bookmark, the title and the URL are prefilled. Which is very comfortable. Why is this not a feature in firefox? I always have to copy paste the URL and enter an own title. Chrome has become very slowly on some websites, while firefox does not slow down on those websites at all. So i want to stay with firefox. Good job, team. But the bookmarking UX is improveable.

On 18 June in the morning my bookmarks were all listed to the left of my browser and I shut down my laptop. That evening I turned on the laptop and bookmarks were gone the browser got brighter and my bookmarks are now only accessible thru a tab in upper right hand corner called other bookmarks. I want them back to the left side of my browser and do not know how to do it.

I had the situation maybe a year ago. I use the Firefox profile manager.

I just updated to 127.02, and now not I'm getting this because for whatever reason, since the update, I am somehow on the beta channel, but only with this profile. I just opened two other profiles, and neither is on the beta channel, although i don't know what "Firefox is being updated by another instance" means.

I don't know if it's just a coincidence, but I'm also just noticing that a number of my addons settings have reverted to default.

Hello, I Signed into and began using a New Firefox ACCOUNT Yesterday.Today,I found that I had forgotten that I formerly had a Mozilla account which is apparently still ACTIVE from 10/14/2021. I'm confused as to WHY it's called MOZILLA... Is it called Firefox or Mozilla for this Browser... and I don't want two Accounts... so I need to eliminate one. My iMac is Auto inserting My Password and I'm not familiar yet with whatever Browser I have, to locate a way to see the Password it signed me in on... ? the one I created yesterday... or the one that was created in 2021... So.. please tell me what the Browser is called today... Firefox or Mozilla... or Mozilla Firefox... ??? and I'll begin AGAIN... OR CAN YOU FIX THIS FOR ME WITH JUST ONE ACCOUNT, and I'll create another Password. My email has NOT CHANGED for either account... ey47ey@yahoo.com Please advise me how to establish my Account ASAP so I can continue my work. This problem began a couple days ago. I have no problem accessing other sites on Firefox (and none for this site over years of use.) Can access site on Safari without problem.

Out of nowhere a couple days ago Firefox started loading local html files extremely slowly. I was using Live Server to render the pages, so I turned that on and off, uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I tried dragging files in from the original folder on my computer, but even that doesn't work. I tried updating firefox, and then my computer (which is running Fedora Linux 40), but still nothing.

When I try hitting inspect on the page, it only loads the HTML but doesn't let me inspect the JS as it wont load, and it's saying I have a ton of errors too. I can't look at the errors because they wont load, but I know it doesn't have to do with the original file as there was only one error which the page was working fine with before and each time I try opening the file it gives me a different amount of errors.

I tried clearing my cache and cookies, which didn't work either.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I'm having no other errors on other pages.

Hello, My website www.bodymindwholeness.com will not loan on Mozilla browser for over 6 months now. My website loads just fine on all other browsers, just not Mozilla? I have tried to adjust every setting I can imagine with no luck. Why wont Mozilla allow my website to load and what can I do to fix the issue? Thank you Michael Hofrath

I am Yuki belong to Electronic company IT department. We have a project to implement salesforce for customer facing and target to go live by end of this July. we are facing one issue related with firefox and salesforce.

<issue detail> Our salesforce have customized serach founctions. this search function doesn't work only in firefox browser(Edge, Chorme is ok). we can send input data from salesforce to search, however search result doesn't appear.

<current situation> we were investigating this issue with salesforce. we found this article : https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/platform/lwc/guide/security-lwsec-async.html >When LWS is enabled, JavaScript async functions that are used from a static resource work in Chromium-based browsers, but don't work in Firefox currently. The issue is a bug in Firefox.

I am getting like 10 crashed tabs per day. I have been using firefox for years and about to dump it... I have brave, chrome and others on my computer and getting ready to dump FF. You need to figure this crap out. If its broke, I dont need it.

One of the add-in permissions is "Access your data for sites in the “named” domain". I looked at that and thought, "That certainly cannot include passwords"; BUT the explanation for this permission is: "The extension could read the content of web pages you visit in the specified domain, as well as data you enter into those web pages, such as usernames and passwords. "

I was stunned.

That means that addins that get this permission have access to my banking/medical/etc. usernames & passwords. This is not acceptable. Can a permission be developed that would be: "Access your data for sites in the “named” domain" (except usernames/passwords).

The permission "Access your data for all websites" is significantly worse in that it applies to all sites.

Earlier today I had to do a complete software reset on my MacBook Pro (running Sonoma 14.5). Prior to the reset, I had been running the newest version of Firefox and was signed in; I assumed that Sync was on and that it was storing my passwords and bookmarks.

After the system reset, I re-installed Firefox and signed in again, but none of my passwords or bookmarks are showing up. However, under connected services, I still see the old (pre-reset) name of my MacBook Pro, in addition to the MacBook Pro's current name.

Is it possible to retrieve my pre-reset passwords and bookmarks?

I have noticed in the help section that all sync data is removed if password is reset. I have just lost all my passwords, bookmarks, settings, everything, because I had to format my computer and didn't memorize my firefox password.

Is there any chance at all to have my data restored regardless? I understand I am at fault, but this outreach is my last hope, I guess.

Download Web plugin to access my Security DVR. When I type in the IP of the DVR, firefox will momentarily go to the plugin but then says it needs to be downloaded. HELP

As of today, DirecTV is no longer supporting Firefox for watching live streaming. They show the attached image. Brave works, too, btw (Chromium-based browser). Do you know why this is happening? Has Mozilla been in talks with DirecTV about this? I use this feature every day.
