If you close a tab that is next to one or more unloaded tabs, firefox jumps those and opens the next one that is loaded. Is there a way to disable this so upon closing it would open the right tab, whether loaded or not. I tried "Select After Closing" add-on, didn't fix it. Disabled Auto Unloading via about:config, same result.

Since the new update, when I select an autofill a new tab opens for the settings. I have closed it many times, double checked the settings and closed it, etc. but it still opens a new one every time I use the autofill feature... please advise.

I just tried the free Avast anti-track product. I ran a browser clean-up which included browser cache but NOT browser history. (they give you options on what to clear). Now I have lost the 50+ tabs I always open on startup. I have also lost all browser history older than 2 weeks. Avast can't help. Anyone know how I can recover my tabs?

Hi. Randomly, but very often, I cannot drag and drop move tabs. Other moving (p.e. "move to beginning") does work. After restart of Firefox, it works again - till it randomly does not.

In the dark theme mode, there seems to be an issue with the animation when long-pressing the Tab. However, in the light theme mode, the animation works fine

Sometimes drag functionality stops working. I can't grab a tab to move it to another position or to a new window. (Holding left click on the tab and moving the cursor does nothing). Also, re-merging the tab with another firefox window stops working. (Dragging a tab to a firefox window from another firefox window doesn't merge them. It does nothing) I can right click on the tab and select Move to move it to a new window but dragging stops working. I have to close Firefox and start it again (sometimes twice), then dragging starts working again. This happens multiple times a day. I am on Linux Mint and the version is 126.0 (64-bit). This problematic behavior has only recently began.

I use version 115.11.0esr (32-bit). I need help with the color of open tabs. How do open tabs can be all in one color and that is black or dark gray? I don't want all open tabs to be bright because it stitches me in the eye. Active tab can be any color but for all other open tabs I want them to be in the same dark color - black or dark gray. I can log into Firefox, but if I try to click on nay other websites, the URL comes up, but nothing loads. I try to refresh the page, but the refresh 'circle' is greyed out and doesn't work. Then it's as if my mouse pointer is broken; I can't click on anything. Everything works fine in EDGE and other browsers. This seems to have happened after the last Firefox update. I have cleared my cache and data, and refreshed Firefox. So far, no good.

I just opened firefox on my samsung galaxy note 8 and all of my tabs are gone. I have not seen the "restore previous sessions" option, nor are they in the "recently closed tabs" part of my history. Please help. Is there any way to restore the tabs?

Hello, I closed my browser, expecting it to save my current tabs as it usually does. When I reopened it, the tabs were gone. They were important for me, and some of them were pretty old so I can't find them in my history. I tried checking the "recently closed tabs" option, it didn't help. There was also no option to restore the previous session. Can you help me restore my lost tabs?

It seems firefox has changed the behavior of tabs. When I go to open a closed tab, I see a list of all the tabs that have been closed from every window. I want to restore the previous behavior where "recently closed tabs" only shows the tabs that were closed in the current window. I saw some about:config settings, but I'm not sure what they do and I don't want to end up losing the tab history all together.

The plus sign in the tab bar has always been on the far right side. I reloaded Firefox yesterday and now the plus sign is directly after the tab. How do I get the plus sign back to where I like it?
