I have provided feedback multiple times that whenever a file download needs to be resumed, it fails and restarts from 0MB. I don't understand why you are not taking this issue seriously. I'm forced to use an external downloader. However, there is another problem: I have to select the downloader every time, as there is no option to permanently choose an external downloader.

July 2024 - Thunderbird is demanding that I change my Hotmail password, after long trouble -free operation. It will not login. Why? (I have not changed the PW yet, hoping for a solution that will avoid the necessity.) I fear that it may be due to some fault in OAuth. Can anyone please provide any help to overcome this problem? HI, I suddenly can't get access to my long time Printify account with the Firefox browser on my Mac. One day, yes, next day, no. I have used Firefox for years and it is my go to browser. After entering my "correct" login info, I check the Verify You Are Human box and get an immediate Failure! notice. I can sign in via Firefox on my iPhone and on my Mac with the Safari browser so it seems it has something to do with Firefox Mac browser itself. I tried to go for the forgot password scenario but it also requires the checked Human box and I get the same Failure! message. Very much need access, please help. Thanks, Don Griffin

I'm using Thunderbird version 115.12.2 on Mac Sonoma 14.5. Every once and a while, when Thunderbird crashes (unfortunately frequent, because of the numbers of folders and emails), my unified folder suddenly contains *all* of my folders, rather than just the 2 inboxes from my 2 different accounts, which is what I want and what I set up when I configured unified.

When I go into properties --> "select the folders to search" it allows me to uncheck 1 folder at a time. BUT I have 1,931 folders !

Is there a way to uncheck all folders in "select the folders to search" and then I can just check inbox in each of my 2 accounts?

Since firefox updated on my Win10 PC to 128.0.3 I haven't been able to play Netflix, Viaplay or other streaming services.

Youtube works fine.

I tried disabling and then re-enable DRM in Firefox settings. Nothing works.

In netflix I get the error code F7701-1003.

What is the solution?

I have been using Thunderbird happily for a long time, most recently version 115.13.0 on my Ubuntu 22.04 partition. Recently I installed Ubuntu 24.04 on another partition, including Thunderbird 128.0esr, now installed as a snap package (it's a recent change in Ubuntu; instead of apt package previously).

The new Thunderbird correctly reads my emails (imap) but it cannot send emails, save drafts or mark emails as read on the server. So I have Thunderbird 115 on the old partition working perfectly, but Thunderbird 128 not working on the same GMail account (I also have the same problem with another non-GMail account). I checked the smtp settings carefully, they are identical between the two versions.

It's possible I made a mistake, but I'm at a loss about what is wrong. How can I diagnose and solve this problem?

(I know that I could reinstall Thunderbird with the apt package, but I assume that the snap package should work too and I would like to understand the cause)

I need a sync of my addressbook on 2 computers, which I realize today with the the add-on "addressbook-synchronizer" and this is working really good! I'm working on PCs with Win10, and I use TB 102 with POP3 accounts. I would like the way Firefox is doing the sync, but I have not yet seen it in Thunderbird!

Are there prospects for the future to solve my problem??

Hello, my friend has a problem because he deleted the Thunderbird Pop 3 account from his computer. It contained all his company emails that are not on the server.

So suddenly the entire company doesn't have access to them.

Is there any possibility of recovering such a deleted account? I have already looked everywhere... Is there any way to recover this account on the computer?

Then he could create such an account again and transfer all e-mails to the server and then configure imap. Is there any possibility?

I have had a lot of trouble using Firefox lately. I can't get to my e-mail and I can't get to my bank's website without getting a phone call which isn't always practical. My wife uses Chrome and doesn't have any problems. Am I going to have to switch to Chrome too?

Recently changed email servers. Under account actions selected "Remove Account" so it wouldn't reach out to the old ISP. Thought I had checked "Remove Account Information", but not Remove Message Data". Entire account disappeared. I've read the emails are still in a profile. How can I recover lost emails?

Earlier this evening, I restarted my Mac computer, and inexplicably found that all of my email sub-folders had mysteriously disappeared. I spent hours attempting to recover five years worth of data through online means, with absolutely no success. I eventually made a donation to Mozilla in order to hopefully reinstall this program in a desperate attempt recover all of these files, but have still made no progress. Please, please help me to recover this information. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer.
