Firefox is my favourite browser so I prefer using it in all my online activities. When I go to Adobe Firefly though, I consistently get a warning that this browser is not compatible and they suggest using Chrome, Safari or the latest version of Firefox !!! I am using the latest version available, 127.0.2 but Adobe does not detect it correctly. I have to switch to Chrome, that I'm not very fond of. I saw that a similar issue was posted 10 months ago but it's now archived and I can't even include a link to it here :( So, I hope this comment helps in case others have the same problem. Hello, when in the library, pressing F6 is meant to "Focus Search Field". This is documented at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly

However, since a recent update this no longer works. Instead, pressing F6 now switches the keyboard focus to the lefthand tree pane. A further press of shift+tab is needed to move to the search box.

My questions are: Has F6 stopped jumping to the library search box for anyone else? If so, was this a deliberate design choice? Does anyone know of an alternate keyboard shortcut to jump to the searchbox? Finally, is there anyway to revert to the old F6 behaviour?

Even if you can only answer the first question that would help, so I can determine whether or not it is just my Firefox. Although I have already tested in a brand new profile with the same results.

I'm sort of fed news that are often "Pro-women" by pocket in the name of thought-provoking stories. I feel that this has to do with some brain-washing agenda. I don't want to see these stupid pro-women news slapped on my face every time I open Firefox. How to show "pro-human" news that include both pro-men news and pro-women news?

Right now, I'm seeing many "Feminist news" rather than anti-feminist news. So, I'm completely blinded by one side of the coin. Here's the problem. Even when I see these feminist news, it's always positive about them. There are no "Redpill, MGTOW, MRA, MRM" news which is obviously the other side of the coin and I do see it, it's often negative. I see a bias here. I don't want that bias to be fed to my brain.

In short, I want to see a balanced view or "Pro-male" news because I'm a man. I don't want to be fed all these "Pro-female" news to me.

Hello, I use Duck Duck Go as a default search engine, with Google and others as alternatives. Since I switched my compter, Firefox resets the default engine back to ebay, which cannot be deleted in the list and also shows up in the address bar. Could you please tell me how to get rid of it? Recently firefox stopped playing audio, I have searched through the settings multiple times, tried safari and google chrome and they both still work so here I am for help.

Running 127.0.1 (64-bit) on EndeavourOS, KDE Plasma, using Wayland. I've had severe crash issues and when troubleshooting I noticed this

Error: Failed to open Wayland display, fallback to X11. WAYLAND_DISPLAY='wayland-0' DISPLAY=':1'

pops up every time I start Firefox via terminal. Why wouldn't Firefox be able to open a Wayland display? Trying to force it with MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 firefox doesn't do anything. I get the same error message.

So i'm a basic PC user and not a Pro to solve Problems related to Web browsers. İ wonder if this happens to any one out there using Latest version of Firefox. (127.0.2 64bit) PS:İ use a app called user agent switcher to fix freezing or lagging or buffering. İ have read some where on the internet that youtube is doing it on purpose?. This happens only with Firefox but not with Microsoft edge.

Hi, Archived thread on this from 2023 has no answers. Why is this browser so slow now and why is it glitching with resizing my windows? Beyond a total reinstall - how completely inconvenient - I would like an EASY FIX.

Recently Roboform add-on has not been working with Firefox I have made several efforts to ensure that it works automatically filling in passwords as previously but the add-on does not seem stable, afte reloading it works briefly then stops again. Has anyone had this problem and found a resolution? Thanks

I recently updated to a new version of the Firefox Android app through the Play Store, and it changed the look of the lab list so that tabs were larger. However, it also seems to have changed the tolerance for my swiping to scroll through the list. Now, when I swipe to scroll up with my right thumb, it often closes the tab under my thumb rather than scrolling. This seems to be because my swipe is at an angle due to the way I am holding my phone, but before the update I never had this problem. It would be nice if the tolerance was adjusted back to the way it was or if I could disable the swipe to delete tab feature.

I have several internal sites, each signed with their own internal CA/subCA. These CAs are all named the same, but have different crypto materials.

If I import just 1 CA into FF (directly or in Windows store with security.enterprise_roots.enabled ), the site with that CA works fine (browser warning is not presented), but ALL those other internal sites give this error:

An error occurred during a connection to 10.1.1.1. Peer’s certificate has an invalid signature. Error code: SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE

with no option to add a security exception.

If I add the CA for another site, that one works as well, the others won't. If I remove all the internal CAs, all the sites start working again (with browser warning, ofc.).

I tried in Chrome and Edge and I get the option to create a security exception for the sites for which I did not install their CA, which looks like the ideal/preferrable option to me.

Is this as intended (and why?) or can it be fixed?

I cannot do anything involving a search, tab crashes. I have used Firefox for many years, and yes, I have updated to the current version. If I cannot get this resolved, I will have to uninstall Firefox and use another browser. Please advise. Thank you.

A while back, I had some very bad cataracts. In order to view text more easily, I somehow managed to change black text against a white background to white text against a black background in the pdf reader's settings. A side effect of this change was that color became grayscale. I would now like to return the settings to default. I've lost the article on how I made the changes. How can I get the pdf reader back to it's default settings?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. The settings did not change.

Copying text with the latest version of Firefox 127.0.1 (64-bit) does not catch all lines of a page and its text the marking of these lines are ignored the same page text works if using Chrome

Those marked grey (in attached file) are the only that are captured as all the rests are left out even if they was intended to be marked .

Any help would be appreciated!!!
