In about.config i set javascript.enabled false for most browsing, unless i really need to do otherwise (e.g. ecommerce). If i close the app (menu quit), and restart it, javacript.enabled is reset true. This behaviour is not replicated for other settings i may make, e.g. dom.storage.enabled, or permissions.default.image. Being Android i have no root so no possibility of creating a user.js to override Firefox ignoring my settings. This seems to be a bug. Version is Android Nightly version 121.0a1, 2023-11-05.

I have Avast premium security on my Android Motorola G6. Every time I open Firefox this malicious website tries to open! I deleted my history and it still comes back. Also when I'm not using the Firefox browser it still tries to open! Once I open the browser sometimes there are as many as seven or more attempts by this page to open! Hi. first of all, your android app is awesome. That you can listen to videos or YT videos when the app is minimalized or the phone screen is locked is great feature. BUT I am not used to it and I would prefer to change the settings so when I lock the screen the video automatically pauses and does not keep playing....

Any way to achieve that??? Thanks !

Changing the cookiebanners.service.mode to 2 in Firefox for Android beta via about:config is not permanent. After some time / Smartphone reboot / shutting down Firefox the setting is changed back to the default setting. -> how can I persist that setting?

OVER THREE YEARS PEOPLE HAVE BEEN DEMANDING THIS. When I tap a link in an app, I want it to open IN FIREFOX. Not some custom tab. Not some special pseudo in-app environment. IN. FIREFOX. EVERY OTHER browser on Android can do this. Don't give me some BS answer about removing Firefox as my default browser, either. That causes it to either open in the app I'm using, or the phone's built-in browser, NEITHER OF WHICH ARE SECURE. If you really care about security, like you're trying to sell us you are, you will fix this yesterday.

Since updating to v 122.0 (Android) today, my home page displays a permanent intrusive "Customise homepage" button on my Homepage (see attached picture).

This is totally redundant when you can simply access this in 2 clicks from the taskbar. Why are such cosmetic features forced onto users? Customising my homepage is something I would do once, I don't need it to be slapped on my face every time I reach my home page.

Please advise, this is extremely annoying.

Hi there! I keep having this issue where firefox keeps toggling security.enterprise_roots.enabled to false whenever i close it. Tried adding the security.certerrors.mitm.auto_enable_enterprise_roots Preference and set it to true, but still didn't qork and if i close the browser it's a given i have to go back to about:config to set the preference or i will start to see the typical errors again. The certificate is from adguard and it has worked for quite some time, i cannot explain this sudden behaviour and it seems to be an old bug that i thought was resolved by now. Should i post this in bugzilla?

I must disable popup asking to open link in another app l. I must stay in firefox, without this annoying popup appearing everytime on AliExpress. Even though I choose to never open links in outside apps, it keeps asking. Hell this is so annoying. The proposed solution does not fix it, the only way for me to get rid of the annoying message is to uninstall AliExpress, which I don't want to do, because I have two accounts and must use both for personal purpose. Please enable a way to diable at all this pop up without going to the app, as Must stay in firefox. Sincerely yours, J.M.

When the browser tries to Autofill a URL it often goes to some popular website I never use or care about. This is a deal breaker and will have to switch to a new browser if this isn't fixed and I can't find anything in my settings to correct it. How do I fix this?

I want to know why Firefox on my laptop just updated itself against my settings to ask first. I did not change the settings the settings were not changed by anybody else nobody else uses that computer but me. Firefox did it and I don't know how they did it or why but I need to know why and how because I lost all my passwords everything's gone. I need to know how I can get all my saved passwords back that were in my Firefox passwords manager. úkeep getting offers from CLUB CARWASH when I log into Firefox. will noyallow response requesting they stop sending. please stop allowing this company to harass people with their unwanted offers and if you don't fix this, how do I stop it?
