Please help, Firefox will not start. Last night after 8:00 PM 7/24/24 it would not open. I get this Windows 10 error message; XUL runner: Error platform version 128.0.2 is Not compatible with 128.0 min 128.0 max

Idk exactly what happened, other than that I changed emails on my Mozilla account and when I signed into connect.mozilla.org with it, it had me create a new username. My old profile page is still up.

I need Firefox to run, I can run Google Chrome but want to return to Firefox that failed last night.

Recently today I changed my firefox password, and successfully used my new password to login. Now I am unable to login successfully using what I believed to be my new password. A few minutes ago I was able to access gmail using my new password, but just now when I closed and reopened Firefox my password was not accepted.

I have auto fill password turned on, yet Firefox NEVER fills in the password, or my e-mail. Each and ever time I have to type it in, Firefox asks to save or update, I say yes, and password and e-mail are saved, yet the next I go to that site I have to type it in manually. I see the password and e-mail are saved accurately yet no auto-fill why?

I have a new windows laptop pc and trying to sync my information from this account to the firefox on the new laptop. I'm having a problem. I'm signed in on the old and the new but it will not sync to the new. What am I doing wrong? When I tried to sign Mozilla keeps telling me my pw is wrong! Huh? I'm signed in now. Is there a different pw for Firefox and Mozilla? I'm so confused!

Because of continuing problems with my Firefox browser I am wondering if it would be a good idea to just remove the program and install the latest version.

It is unresponsive a lot and very slow.

Hello: Q1- I moved Thunderbird from my C drive to my D drive but...C drive still contains active content Thunderbird uses. I'm not sure about when I backup my profile folder, all the data is really being backed up? eg. C:\Users\mdc\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\cy4sug48.default-release

      F:\Users\mdc\ProgramData\Thunderbird\Profiles\cy4sug48.default

I also changed all my Thunderbird registry entries to D drive. I don't understand why C drive is still active?

Q2- When I choose Import from a Thunderbird profile this comes up (see attached picture)? This directory does not exist! Where is it coming from?

I first mentioned this in r/Firefox, and was asked to re-post here.

My FF just updated to 127.0.1 even though I have "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" and told it to wait. This was on a Windows 11 box. Everything seemed fine, but then one of my tabs crashed. I selected the reload tab option, at which point it informed me it could not load the tab because a background update had happened and I was now required to restart Firefox.

I'm not certain what version of FF I was on, I believe it was either 126 or 126.0.1.

Now, to be completely fair, I cannot with 100% certainty say that I clicked on the update later option. That said, as I _did not want to update then_, and I have put off the update before, it seems unlikely I would have made the mistake, but I wasn't recording everything I did so I can't play it back and prove it. My initial reaction was to associate it with the tab crashing somehow, as everything was working as expected right up until that moment.

Something isn't right with Firefox formatting especially when I'm in my Email system and Facebook and probably others . . . not all of the marker and colors are appearing but the photos look OK.

For example, what I am typing here . . . the letters are not a consistent "black" . . . some letters look sort of faint while some are full black and OK. Kind of hard to describe but it indicates that something is not completely working properly.

I have a problem when I read a specific webpage and firefox jumps to the end of the webpage. This happens with one specific webpage, a Swiss newspaper: call www.nzz.ch - Now, select one of the articles but in the following way: do a right-click on the title of the article and select "open in new tab". (This is important: it does not happen if you left click on the article and open it in the actual tab.) Now you have the article in a new tab, you begin reading it and slowly scroll down using the mouse wheel. But then, with the slightest scroll back (upwards), firefox will jump to the end of the web page. All you can do is go back (ctl+upward arrow) and look for the place where you have been. Once this has happened, firefox will no longer scroll to the end of the page, you can scroll up and down, and everything works fine. But if you close the tab and open this or another article again with right-click, open in new tab, you have the insane effect again. I have no idea how I could analyze this myself and am thankful for help.

Was clearing out some files yesterday in the middle of taking screenshots on Netflix through firefox (per usual) when suddenly whenever I go into a netflix TV show I get the purple-green image down below that's all wrong and corrupted. Feeling especially confused because I can take screenshots anywhere else on other browsers or Firefox, even on the Netflix home page, perfectly fine - but this format below stopped working?? Am hoping to resolve the issue quickly cause one of my Favourite shows I wanted to post about is having a new season drop in like 2 days :(

since the firefox updates my skype audio has changed cant use them and have to use the master audio settings, also had trouble signing into FF since the new update just now
