hi guys

my firefox keeps crashing when i click the attach files in my yahoo email. Its like it doesnt want to open to browse for the attachment or anytime it has to open another browser like file browser. here is the imfo that it gave me after the crash.

When I visit chase.com on the current version of Firefox, the saved usernames do not come up when I click on the username field, but the saved passwords come up when I click on the password field. I believe the issue is likely from Chase's website, but it could also be a problem with, or at least involving, Firefox, so I decided to inform you of the issue, too.

Videos on the NY Times web site never play on my Windows 10 PC, though they do run on my Windows 11 and iPad Firefox. Have disabled all script and ad-blockers without effect. If I click on the Play arrow, I get the circle animation that never ends. Windows FF version 128.0.2 64-bit on both 10 and 11; can't tell what the iPad version is but it works.

I have an address/search bar at the top of my screen AND one in the center of my home web page beneath the Firefox logo/brand. Currently, if I want to effect a search the Firefox web homepage uses the address bar across to top of the page. I want to set a preference/priority to using the search bar beneath the Firefox logo/brand. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, with every new firefox update, the firefox icon no longer remains in the taskbar. Firefox now must be manually located in programs and then re-pinned to the taskbar (and/or to the start-menu or desktop if that's your preference).

Prior to this year the shortcuts always copied across with each update, but no longer. Is this a Firefox issue, or a Microsoft issue? I run Windows 10 on my PC.

Hello, I have FF 128.0.2 (64-bit) on macOS 14.5 macbook pro.

Recently, in the past week or so, if I close my laptop and then open it up a few minutes or an hour later, FF doesn't connect to the internet at all. Error says that "you may be behind a firewall"

No firewall. Chrome, safari, MS Edge all connect to the internet but FF refuses to. Toggling wifi on/off for a few mins does nothing. Closing and reopening FF doesn't work. The only solution is to completely restart the machine (macbook pro).

Needless to say, this is incredibly frustrating. Anyone else having this issue?

It's really basic functionality like this I wish FF would focus on rather than all the experiments for new tab layouts, etc. that the community seems to be busy with. Side note: there's other 'quality' issues with FF lately e.g. if the Print dialog is opened, the entire browser window "greys out" even when going back to any of the tabs or windows... it stays in this greyed out mode as though the application isn't the selected one even though it clearly says FF in the upper left as the open application.

Any help is greatly appreciated. FF has really seemed to be declining in quality over the past year and it's sad to see.

Recently today I changed my firefox password, and successfully used my new password to login. Now I am unable to login successfully using what I believed to be my new password. A few minutes ago I was able to access gmail using my new password, but just now when I closed and reopened Firefox my password was not accepted.

Mozilla updated on my computed. After the update, the forward and back arrows on my top toolbar only work when I am in the Mozilla settings page. If I am on any other site, in order to get off the page or move back to a previous page, I must go to my app taskbar, highlight the Mozilla icon whereby all open pages that have not been closed appear and locate the previous page I need to refer back to. This is very inconvenient and seriously effects the ease of accomplishing whatever app I am trying to enjoy or task I am attempting to accomplish. Was there are bug incorporated in today's update? I have a Mac running on Ventura v13.6.7. I also run Express VPN. F/F v 128.0.2[64 bit]. I have as my home page the BBC.Most of the time if I click on sport or the weather button the screen starts flashing.I cleared the cashe that lasted a couple of days then it started flashing again. By the way when the screen is flashing the reload button is flashing. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hello I am constantly switching between Bookmarks and Tree Style Tab in the sidebar. The toolbar button "Show sidebars" is fine for switching between sidebar displayed or not, but switching between Bookmarks and Tree Style Tab is not so convenient : i have to go through the small menu and select either Bookmarks or Tree Style Tab, which is two clicks and a mouse move away, boring when you are constantly switching... Is there a way to add a second toolbar button to do this switching (or have two buttons, one for Bookmarks and one for Tree Style Tabs) ? Hope someone has a solution, thanks in advance. Alain Coste

Each and ever time I have to type it in, Firefox asks to save or update, I say yes, and password and e-mail are saved, yet the next I go to that site I have to type it in manually. I see the password and e-mail are saved accurately yet no auto-fill why?

I have always had two firefox browser windows open.

A number of months ago Firefox added a default option where it would auto open two Firefox browser screens.

They are always in in the wrong order in my task bar so I have to close one - as easier than positioning both of them.

I want to disable this 'feature' as I'm looking into a powershell way to open 3 Firefox windows on my new 4K in specific positions and this 4th window that I do Not open myself is causing problems.

I've searched thru about:config but can't seem to find the setting to turn this off??
