I used to use Virgin email but now have Thunderbird. Over the last few days when I get a notification of new message I get it twice. How do I disable the virgin ones.

Without any warning about half of my folders disappeared as did the icon for writing a new email, as you can tell by my lack of jargon, I am not very skilled in the world of software, just an essential user, so any suggestions welcome, up to and including a 'takeover' by one of the actual software engineers, please advise.

It used to be that Firefox would remember where I saved similar files (from the same webpage I assume) in the past and save them to the same directory. That doesn't work anymore and I cannot find any setting for that. Now it always suggests the most recent place I saved to.

When I am using Google sheets in Firefox, I've noticed lately that using the mouse scroll wheel causes the sheet to scroll all the way down right to the very bottom of the sheet, rather than slowly one or two lines at a time. This has started happening recently, and it doesn't happen under Chrome or Edge. What is going on?

Even if you change the setting of Firefox about:config from "true" to "false", it will automatically change from "false" to "true".

privacy.userContext.enabled 

If you change "privacy.userContext.enabled" from "true to false" and check after restarting Firefox, it will revert to "false to true." It is unclear why it reverts to the original state.

When I try to sign in to YouTube using my Google account, it automatically sends me to an old university sign on website that is no longer valid. This only happens on the iOS version of Firefox. Is there any way to block this website?

Hello, My saved passwords do not work on certain sites on my Windows 11 computer and my Android smartphone. I have repaired firefox,and created a new profile as advised by members of the French forum.i have also created a new account. On the computer only, I no longer have the subtitles on the skillshare site. When I go to pinterest and deezer, the page does not display normally. I can't see the images in the duckduckgo search either, because I've been redirected to a non-javascript site. I had ccleaner, it was suggested to me that the problem came from there but I uninstalled it before creating the new profile. I also have bit defender free on my devices. Thank you.

I just got a new machine running windows 11 Home, I installed thunderbird just two of my email acconts and I can't see emails. The titles are there when i try to view don't get anything. I go back to my windows 10 set up I see my messages. Thank you in advance for your help..

I have a gmail account and all E-mails are forwarded to a roadrunner account. The E-mails in the roadrunner account are downloaded using POP3.

I am now setting up Thunderbird, and connect it to the roadrunner account using IMAP. For some reason, several forwarded E-mails in roadrunner Thunderbird Inbox are missing. They are, however, showing on the roadrunner Server. (They are also still in the gmail account).

To troubleshoot, is there some way to "refresh" the inbox or download the messages again??

I'm trying to set up Firefox on a new Windows 11 laptop and having issues.

First, I installed a couple of Add-ons and set them up, I use one to have a Home Page, and another for zoom percentage. And I went into each one and set them up as I want them. But when I closed FF and reopened it, they were gone, as if I didn't install them at all. And all the changes I made to the top part of the browser - icons and overall look - reverted back to what FF is "out of the box."

Also, on my old laptop, I went into about:config and changed the ui.textScaleFactor because the default FF top part is too wide for me. But when I went into it on the new laptop, and changed the number, nothing happened. On the old one, when you enter a different number and hit enter, the change is made immediately.

Also, I did make FF my default browser on the new laptop, at least I think I did. I clicked the link to do that, and it brought me to a window with a bunch of confusing extensions. I changed them all to Firefox, including E-Mail, and I don't even want FF being the default for E-mail. And I did click the check on top and clicked "Make FF the default browser." But when I open FF, I keep getting asked if I want to make FF my default browser and to pin it to the task bar. But it already is!

I should point out, that it's possible I downloaded FF twice, and may have installed it twice. But when I go to Install/uninstall files, just one is listed. And I only have one FF icon on my desktop.

So what is going on?

I am unable to printed from the Firefox browser on Android. This used to work but just stopped a while ago. I can print from other apps like Acrobat and Google Docs. I have reset everything, updated the printer drivers, etc. It would be very convenient to have this capability back as it limits the utility of Firefox on my phone.

Browser ver. is 129.0. Phone is a OnePlus 9.

Today I was forced to reinstall my PC (nothing worked, a lot of problems etc). I was told that I don't need to use any backup for Mozilla (even if I wanted, my PC problems would not allow me to do that) because yesterday I've made a sync. After couple of hours of reinstalling the system I wanted to sync my account to get back my Bookmarks and turns out that sync does not restore them. I have all my plugins and that's all, none of the bookmarks. I've lost literally years of saved data.

At first I thought it was Facebooks issue but when I shared using Edge or Opera browser the share dialog DOES have a share button at the bottom of the share pop up dialog. Using Firefox, for what ever reason, it's cut off at the bottom so I have no way to share and have to copy the link and walk it over to Facebook or wherever to share anything. When I'm using Chrome Browser every Google related products working smoothly but when I'm using Firefox except (Google) every other websites working smoothly. I even clear cache a lot times & troubleshoot the Firefox too but still facing such problem. It just display No Internet Connection message just for Google products.

I finally figured out what was causing the problem from this, old question.

I have filters set to auto-forward mail to another email account. Apparently when you have a forwarding filter, it does not add those messages to the outbox.
