My bookmarks & open tabs are not syncing between my Mac and iPhone. Mac Firefox version 129.0.1. IOS version 129.1. When I search help for how to sync, the instructions start with Select sync & save data from the Firefox menu, but there isn’t any such item in the menu. What’s going on here?

On different webpages i had the issue that when writing text an old, probably cashed, version of the text appears and my written text is hidden. It then raptly switches between the life and the cased version.

I have not really found a way to reproduce it only that it happens after a tab has been left in the background for some time.

Reloading does not help only opening the page in a new tab held bot only for a short amount of time. I definitively find out if add-ons affected it but it did not seam like it.

I also had similar issues on websites where you can draw, with the images flashing.

Any form of input seams to effect which version of the text is displayed.

Sometimes some sites in firefox just refuse to load but when I take the same time in to google chrome it works just fine, this is such an annoying issue as its seems to be just random, sometimes sites work and other times not, and its always the same times, like youtube, gmail, and amazon always work, and i have firefox download in another pc and firefox works fine, i tried to unistall it with revo, i tried to reformat it and same issue,

In Australia, a lot of organisations are forcing native languages upon us. How can I block these words? I do not want to block the website....just the words in Native Languages.

I think this is a new feature that let's you add background wallpaper. I tried it out when I was signed out and it seemed to work. But after I signed in with my Firefox account it doesn't show up.

Thunderbird automatically updated to v128 earlier this week after I went to Help - About Thunderbird to check that it had updated to v115.14.

Everything seemed okay immediately after the update, but when I started Thunderbird the next day it was very unresponsive. Checking the Activity Manager showed that Thunderbird was indexing messages, but that this was happening very slowly. I let Thunderbird do its thing that day in the hope that things would settle down.

The next day when I started Thunderbird things were still bad. I tried Rebuilding the Global Database but when I restarted Thunderbird it was just as bad, if not worse.

I then turned off indexing in the Thunderbird settings and Thunderbird is now responsive and back to normal.

Is anyone else seeing anything like this? Any suggestions to fix the problem?

I am a long time Thunderbird user so my profile is very large with a lot of accounts, and has been through a lot of Thunderbird versions, so it is potentially more complicated than normal.

Thunderbird version is currently 128.1.0esr (32-bit).

For the last 2 weeks I started having problems with Firefox working consistently. Sometimes only tabs crash, sometimes Firefox crashes. It is not tied to any actions, a tab can crash even if you don't perform any actions in the browser. I have tried clean install on Fedora and Vanilla OS, native and Flatpak packages. The result is always the same - tabs or Firefox crashes every few minutes.

I used to use Virgin email but now have Thunderbird. Over the last few days when I get a notification of new message I get it twice. How do I disable the virgin ones.

Without any warning about half of my folders disappeared as did the icon for writing a new email, as you can tell by my lack of jargon, I am not very skilled in the world of software, just an essential user, so any suggestions welcome, up to and including a 'takeover' by one of the actual software engineers, please advise.

It used to be that Firefox would remember where I saved similar files (from the same webpage I assume) in the past and save them to the same directory. That doesn't work anymore and I cannot find any setting for that. Now it always suggests the most recent place I saved to.

When I am using Google sheets in Firefox, I've noticed lately that using the mouse scroll wheel causes the sheet to scroll all the way down right to the very bottom of the sheet, rather than slowly one or two lines at a time. This has started happening recently, and it doesn't happen under Chrome or Edge. What is going on?

Even if you change the setting of Firefox about:config from "true" to "false", it will automatically change from "false" to "true".

privacy.userContext.enabled 

If you change "privacy.userContext.enabled" from "true to false" and check after restarting Firefox, it will revert to "false to true." It is unclear why it reverts to the original state.

When I try to sign in to YouTube using my Google account, it automatically sends me to an old university sign on website that is no longer valid. This only happens on the iOS version of Firefox. Is there any way to block this website?

Hello, My saved passwords do not work on certain sites on my Windows 11 computer and my Android smartphone. I have repaired firefox,and created a new profile as advised by members of the French forum.i have also created a new account. On the computer only, I no longer have the subtitles on the skillshare site. When I go to pinterest and deezer, the page does not display normally. I can't see the images in the duckduckgo search either, because I've been redirected to a non-javascript site. I had ccleaner, it was suggested to me that the problem came from there but I uninstalled it before creating the new profile. I also have bit defender free on my devices. Thank you.

I just got a new machine running windows 11 Home, I installed thunderbird just two of my email acconts and I can't see emails. The titles are there when i try to view don't get anything. I go back to my windows 10 set up I see my messages. Thank you in advance for your help..
