Cannot use the hours dropdown on Calendar Widget in Mozilla, when I click on the hours, the dropdown appears for half a second and then dissapears, so I cannot use it. Works fine with Edge and Chromium. OS Ubuntu 24.04. Tried private mode and disabling add-ons - only one I have is UBlock. When inspecting the console does not show any errors.

Sometime in the last few months, Firefox (Developer Edition) stopped allowing redirects and links to file://-protocol URLs. Is there a way to re-enable this for my personal browser, e.g. via about:config or the like?

after creating a new profile, and copying everything in the root directory to the new profile, including search.json.mozlz4, the default search engine setting does not get transferred over and is still set to google

Using TBird 15.10.1 64-bit on my Windows 10 desktop system, I find under Tools | Address Book a down arrow to the left of Personal Address Book; clicking on it displays all my created address lists, which are available when I compose a message to send.

Using 15.10.1 64-bit on my Windows 11 laptop, the down arrow does not appear and I have no access to those lists.

Am using IMAP on both systems. Tried importing lists as a CSV file; no effect. How can I get access to my address lists on both PCs?

This started a week or two ago intermittantly on some websites. Today I cannot see any images of amazon items in the shopping cart. I can see the thumbnails in the right side bar, and if I click on an item, the image appears on its for sale page. Ebay usually shows the first image, but the rest won't load, unless I click on "unable to load images" and then they might. Or if I use the icon to put the images in their own box, I can < and > to navigate them

Turned the new "secure DNS" feature off & on, no difference. Turned off NoScript, no difference.

I just got my PC back from the shop. It's the best LG Gram laptop they had with Windows 11, and it's 1-yr old. Much on it was corrupted and I'm having to reload many items, one being my Firefox. It wouldn't open up. I did the right-click on my mouse and hit the OPEN selection. Firefox still wouldn't open up. I reloaded Firefox hoping that it would correct whatever may be wrong. No, it still won't open up. I'm reaching you now via TOR. My TOR was also reinstalled, but it is able to open up. Can you think of what I may have done wrong? [I'm unable to check the option-email me when someone answers my thread {this email must be a thread}, but this will be fine.] Please note that I am so NOT tech-savvy, I don't even have any smart/mobile/cell phone. Just a plain old phone. (I should add I'm in my 70's, ill, and in a Nursing Home.) I looked through your troubleshooting sugggestions, but they are too fancy for me to understand. I'm not sure how this works, but I sure do hope you can offer some suggestions as to what I can try. Thanks so very much for your time and consideration of this matter. It's very much appreciated.

All morning I had been receiving and sending emails without issue. Then at approx 12:41 PM EST Thunderbird stopped working. I can send and receive emails through AOL to AOL but they do not show up in Thunderbird. I did not have any other computer issues and did not change any settings. Verizon told me it was an AOL issue, but I was able to successfully send and receive messages with AOL. AOL tried to fix it but ultimately said it was a Thunderbird issue. In the last 6 or 7 weeks I have had issues with Thunderbird. What is going on? Very Very Frustrating!!!

Recently, within the last 3 weeks or so, I have become unable to log in to amazon.com using Firefox Focus for Android. This is a new development. I can still browse Amazon pages while logged out, and hitting the button to log in still brings me to the page to enter phone number or email address. However, entering email address/phone and then pressing the Sign In button redirects the user to a page saying that cookies must be enabled in order to log in.

Again, this is very recent. I previously did all my Amazon shopping within Firefox Focus for Android without issues.

1) Reporting this change. 2) Is there any extension for Firefox that makes a browser believe it can store cookies? I doubt it, but had to ask. Thanks.

When looking support for a different issue with Firefox Focus for Android, attempted to log in to make a support request. Unable to log in to Mozilla Support while using... Firefox Focus for Android. Get endless spinny-wheel. Could not log in without switching to Firefox for Android.

I access Outlook through Firefox. I added the site to my home screen to login faster. After proceeding through the login screen and accessing my email, I have a blank permanent bar on the top of my screen (where the website controls exist when the quick app starts up). My screen is shifted down from this bar, with elements no longer appearing at the bottom of my screen (calendar, etc). Buttons on the bottom of the screen no longer appear (they are cut off). I want my screen to not be cut off on the bottom. As an aside, the bar on the top of the screen is annoyingly thick whether it's loaded or not.

Unable to fix the side by side error, my only option may be to re-install Thunderbird or migrate to Outlook.

My question is whether its feasible to re-install Thunderbird and still preserve my old profile and emails. I haven't done any backups of Thunderbird but do still have all my emails on the server.

Unable to export Firefox bookmarks. When I go to 'Manage Bk Mks' it states 'no items' (See attached Print Screen) yet all my bookmarks show in the left hand pane.

Background (2024): Created my userChrome.css file, on my desktop, 4 or 5 years ago when I was using Windows 8.1. At best I am an experimenter with userChrome. Last year, due to another problem, I had to update to Windows 10. So far, so good. My userChrome file held through the update.

Fast forward: In May I had a hard drive crash (total DOA) and had to buy a new desktop (Dell) with Windows 11 (I almost regret that), 64-bit. Also using FireFox 127.0.2. After more than a month, most of my software and files are working again.

Current problem: My userChrome file is not working as it used to. I had it backed up to other places, so I know it is not the file. I am missing the “tabs bar”; the one with the FireFox icon at the far left, then (in my case) a Google box, and then the “+” for Tabs.

That bar is missing and I can not figure out why. I suspect something changed in Firefox. I do not see how Windows 11 (god forbid) would do anything like that.

I can not create additional tabs or move between them.

I suspect that the “solid” black bar after the Bookmarks toolbar(s) may be involved.

My “colors” seem to be OK and the location of everything else is acceptable with the exception of the “Find in this page (Ctrl+F)”. The ‘magnifying glass is in the correct place on the second bar but the box to enter data is at the bottom. The box used to be just in front of the ‘magnifying glass’. Not as critical as the “tabs bar” but annoying.

Don't see how to attach my userChrome.css (as userChrome.txt). I can supply the file or post it.

Can anyone make a simple suggestion for a simple senior citizen?

I can send emails but when try to receive emails I get Login to server inbound.att.net with username topgun30@sbcglobal.net failed.

I Have Had It Installed On Microsoft Edge For About A Year With No Problems. I Had It Installed For About 3 Months On Firefox Then I Needed To Install It Again & I Get The Above Messages. Why Is It Doing This? There Hasn't Been Any Harm Done To My Computer. Also Firefox Needs A Customer Service Phone Number For People To Call & Explain Their Issues It's A Lot Quicker & Easier To Solve Your Problem.
