Hello, when in the library, pressing F6 is meant to "Focus Search Field". This is documented at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/keyboard-shortcuts-perform-firefox-tasks-quickly

However, since a recent update this no longer works. Instead, pressing F6 now switches the keyboard focus to the lefthand tree pane. A further press of shift+tab is needed to move to the search box.

My questions are: Has F6 stopped jumping to the library search box for anyone else? If so, was this a deliberate design choice? Does anyone know of an alternate keyboard shortcut to jump to the searchbox? Finally, is there anyway to revert to the old F6 behaviour?

Even if you can only answer the first question that would help, so I can determine whether or not it is just my Firefox. Although I have already tested in a brand new profile with the same results.

I'm sort of fed news that are often "Pro-women" by pocket in the name of thought-provoking stories. I feel that this has to do with some brain-washing agenda. I don't want to see these stupid pro-women news slapped on my face every time I open Firefox. How to show "pro-human" news that include both pro-men news and pro-women news?

Right now, I'm seeing many "Feminist news" rather than anti-feminist news. So, I'm completely blinded by one side of the coin. Here's the problem. Even when I see these feminist news, it's always positive about them. There are no "Redpill, MGTOW, MRA, MRM" news which is obviously the other side of the coin and I do see it, it's often negative. I see a bias here. I don't want that bias to be fed to my brain.

In short, I want to see a balanced view or "Pro-male" news because I'm a man. I don't want to be fed all these "Pro-female" news to me.

I recently installed Firefox and I keep getting crash notices, even when it is not open/running...

I have verified this through the task manager...Nothing named Firefox or Mozilla is running...

I don't have this issue with either Brave or Chrome, and I have, and keep updated ESET software, so I KNOW this is a Firefox issue...

Unless this issue can be corrected, I will have no choice but to uninstall it, as I don't need software that crashes even when it is not being used...

So i'm a basic PC user and not a Pro to solve Problems related to Web browsers. İ wonder if this happens to any one out there using Latest version of Firefox. (127.0.2 64bit) PS:İ use a app called user agent switcher to fix freezing or lagging or buffering. İ have read some where on the internet that youtube is doing it on purpose?. This happens only with Firefox but not with Microsoft edge.

Recently Roboform add-on has not been working with Firefox I have made several efforts to ensure that it works automatically filling in passwords as previously but the add-on does not seem stable, afte reloading it works briefly then stops again. Has anyone had this problem and found a resolution? Thanks

I have several internal sites, each signed with their own internal CA/subCA. These CAs are all named the same, but have different crypto materials.

If I import just 1 CA into FF (directly or in Windows store with security.enterprise_roots.enabled ), the site with that CA works fine (browser warning is not presented), but ALL those other internal sites give this error:

An error occurred during a connection to 10.1.1.1. Peer’s certificate has an invalid signature. Error code: SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE

with no option to add a security exception.

If I add the CA for another site, that one works as well, the others won't. If I remove all the internal CAs, all the sites start working again (with browser warning, ofc.).

I tried in Chrome and Edge and I get the option to create a security exception for the sites for which I did not install their CA, which looks like the ideal/preferrable option to me.

Is this as intended (and why?) or can it be fixed?

A while back, I had some very bad cataracts. In order to view text more easily, I somehow managed to change black text against a white background to white text against a black background in the pdf reader's settings. A side effect of this change was that color became grayscale. I would now like to return the settings to default. I've lost the article on how I made the changes. How can I get the pdf reader back to it's default settings?

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox. The settings did not change.

I found that my session activity on a secure (logged-in) website was being interfered with. I could not log-out of that website. After I closed Firefox, a notice appeared that an update was in progress. Why should a Firefox update interfere with an active session? Is this an updating issue that needs fixing?

I think the v127.0.2 fix to the Youtube buffering issue also fixed the frames being navigated in the wrong order when using < and > to navigate frame by frame. For several months it would occasionally skip a frame with one tap of the button then show the frame it should've shown when you tapped it again.

Hello all. Having updated Firefox a few days ago, we can no longer sign into Instagram. This happens only on Firefox, only since the last update, and Firefox is the same browser we have been using for years with Instagram. The problem is the cookie permission window for Instagram a) will not make a selection and b) will not disappear/close. We have attached a screenshot. There are no close tabs/buttons anywhere on this window, and we have looked the full length of the expanded window. As we have not changed any other setting, have not added any software, and this only happens on Firefox, we can only conclude that we have missed something which may have changed or been upgraded with your last update. This is quite urgent, as this is to manage the Instagram account of a wildlife conservation charity. So far we have tried reinstalling Firefox, clearing cookies, and deactivating/uninstalling all add-ons, however this has solved nothing. Could anyone suggest a solution please? Firefox "Tabs" when operated automatically will not work on links within emails that I trust. When I manually select the link to open within a "Private Tab"(Personal, Banking, Shopping, etc)the link will work, and connect. I have checked the Windows 10(64) Firewall and my VPN, and nothing is set to block Firefox from connecting the auto-opening Tab. What is the trouble?

I've been unable to complete the installation of the latest version of the Firefox browser for Windows 10 for several weeks because my Bitdefender online protection repeatedly blocks the connection to incoming.telemetry.mozilla.org saying: "firefox.exe attempted to establish a connection relying on an unmatching security certificate to incoming.telemetry.mozilla.org.
