Push notification banner from YouTube stays on desktop without closing after 5 seconds. Why? Windows 10 never had this issue. With Windows 11, it worked after a clean install and then it stopped. Why? I checked all settings within Windows.

Settings / Accessibility / Visual effects (ON) / Dismiss Notification after this time amount (5 Seconds) / Notifications checked (ON).

The notification banner hangs and never closes. Google search tells us how to enable and disable. IT HAS NOTHING FOR CLOSING BANNER AFTER 5 SECONDS.

Every time I use the browser, I am delayed by : p.typekit.net for a little while before I get results. Why? Can this be removed from the search or browser? I can use a book mark and I get the same hang up on p.typekit.net EVERY time. It slows the browser quite a bit. I have used Firefox for over a decade and would like to keep using it. If you can't fix or can direct me how to fix I need to change browsers because the browser lag is getting stupid. Please help.

This app has no properties and it is being applied to a deleted desktop, I have bought three computers in the last six month and I returned them all because of Edge and google so i want hesitate to return this one also. I spend all om time trying to download apps. That do not work properly. I have no browser tools so I have no home icon or no other icons.

Today, Firefox stopped playing audio on Facebook videos and won't play Netflix videos at all (Netflix error code: F7701-1003). Youtube works fine and has audio, but several other video sites I've tried have video but no audio. It was all working fine yesterday and I haven't changed any settings.

These websites work fine with both audio and sound on Microsoft Edge on the same laptop, so this is a problem exclusive to Firefox. OS is Windows 11 Home 23H2, Firefox is latest version (129.0.2)

Things I've tried: 1. Refresh Firefox settings 2. Download and install fresh copy of Firefox 3. Toggle DRM content in setting on/off - no difference no matter what is selected 4. Ensure that 'remember history' is selected 5. Check for Windows updates 6. Uninstall audio driver, restart and fresh install of audio driver 7. Ensure it's not in private mode 8. Turn off all extensions 9. Check volume mixer allows sound for Firefox 10. Clear the cache and cookies

I can't find any more suggestions on the internet, so any further suggestions welcome!

Recently MalwareBytes has been flagging, MANY times a day, an attempt by Firefox 129.0.2 to go to CHHIMI.com. The message from MalwareBytes says it is being "blocked due to Trojan". This is an "outbound" type from C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe.

The only info I have been able to find about CHHIMI is that it is a very new website that does not use HTTPS validation. Allegedly has something to do with gaming. The only "gaming" I do is an occasional bout with an on-board (not on-line) Solitare.

So, the fundamental question I have is why is FireFox routing to CHHIMI.com and how do I stop it?

I put in a web address and password for a bank and hit enter - it doesn't go through and comes back to the log-in page It was working. I don't know what happened

Hi! I have a question about the syncing/history with FireFox. So for some context, I have two laptops, a personal laptop and a school/work laptop. I use the same FireFox account on both of them for convenience, however, I don't want the things from my personal laptop (ex. social media) to show up as recommended when I search for things in a tab on my work laptop. I already turned off the related sync settings, but I think since I synced my history before I turned them off, the websites from my main laptop are still showing up. My main question is- would I be able to clear my history on my work laptop without deleting the cookies/usage information from my main laptop (as I know this would log me out)? Or is my best bet to make a different FireFox account for my work laptop?

For the 2nd time my FF browser and shortcut stopped working and I had to re-install it. I haven't done anything; this happened 2x in the last month. I've run a thorough HP Wolf Security scan and nothing comes up. What gives?

In my Task manager I am apparently running Firefox (20) and it takes around 13GB of ram. This computer has been formatted and has all recent updates you can find. Windows 11, x64

I have a bookmark tap on the right top and on the left top. I'm trying to rearrange the order of the bookmarks on the right side to match the order there in on the left side. I'm not able to change the order there in on the right side. I tried dragging them down or up but it won't work. Does anyone know who to change the order of what my book marks are in on the right side?

By manipulating I mean staying longer than I really intended in order to manipulate how long you seen that I have stayed on a page.

I am not sure whether this is normal or not. I have never noticed this before, however i am a bit concerned. So about a week ago i was hacked, and i removed all the files and everything, and managed to get past with 0 damage. I installed Avast to scan for viruses and i have been using it ever since then, but it keeps blocking something from opening and i don't know what it is or whether its normal. It used to only block a blacklisted URL called: " 1.awakened.work". It scared me a bit so i went to check on the IP for the website and a bunch of information on what it is but i found nothing that meant anything to me. I uninstalled Firefox a few times and reinstalled it. I even completely removed all the files related to Mozilla but once i reinstalled it then 4 web URL's tried to open and got blocked named:" 1.awakened.work", "1.foreground.work", "1.6912044.cc" and "listitnow.org". I have no idea what these do or are and i came here to ask whether anyone knows how to stop them from even trying to open. When i removed Mozilla then they didn't try to open and only tried to open while i had Mozilla. I looked at the location of the files and it says they are the Firefox.exe so i don't know. I really love using Mozilla but if i can't fix this, then i will have to use GX.
