When I start a email message search, I am bombarded with bad suggestions for email addresses. These include addresses from everyone I've received email from even though I have deleted these entries in collected email addresses and my personal address book.

The addresses could be from old purchases or ebay responses or anyone I've ever received an email from. I have deleted most of the emails entirely, yet I still get all these bad addresses when I search.

Is there a way to clear the history in search or remove the email addresses where I have deleted the email?

I've attached a Home Depot search as an example.

I have Windows 11, Firefox yahoo email. I must have clicked somewhere that consolidated all my email to the left in a narrow format. Can't locate where to correct it. Also had no luck attaching a screen shot. Next to the condensed email, is another column that is blank except for the white envelope. Is there a place where I can change the format? Thank you.

I can't stay on this site for very long at all, and do my best to write out what I need as quickly as possible then leave. I would never contribute to answering any questions other then my own because how bright it is will eventually cause me pain.

In my view, it represents an amateurish view on website design and likely has an impact of skewing the regular user base to people that don't mind it.

After masking them with my duck duck go service, I can't find the link to verify my emails. Where can I see any return responses using my mask email?

Not always, but frequently when I delete an email from an inbox, the other emails are hidden for awhile. This occurs whether I am pressing Del while the email is visible, or pressing Del with the email selected in the Inbox. If, however, I immediately open another folder and then re-open the inbox, all emails are instantly visible. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a "feature"?  ;-) Regards, Dave

Why won't Thunderbird send emails when connected to NordVPN? I have spoken to Spectrum and NordVPN and both of them have suggested that Thunderbird is the issue. I have confirmed that my SMTP settings are correct. I can send and receive from the Web client's site. I have turned off NordVPN and the sending process works as expected. However when I turn NordVPN back on, my outgoing emails are blocked.

Hi, I just reopened Thunderbird after my computer was shut down automatically after a Dell firmware update. I had 15 email tabs open before this -- things I wanted to go back to or that reminded me to do something. They are now empty! I have gone into Troubleshoot mode a couple of times and restarted Thunderbird. I've also checked the "remove addons (or something like that)" check box. No luck. Can someone out there help? I'm going to try restarting my computer now. Thanks!

Another one: I cannot select the country code from the drop down list when entering phone number in Ryanair, so basically I can't buy flight tickets from there. Chromium Browser didn't work as well, but Safari did.

I recently bought a new laptop and didn't import Firefox to the new one. Now I can't access my passwords etc on Firefox because it asks my for my primary password. I have no idea what that might be. Does anyone know if there is any way to recover the passwords please?

I use fire fox as my default browser. It is still the default but now when I go to search the yahoo start page comes on. I cannot search with fire fox as this stupid yahoo home page over rides it. Please help!

I have searched for a solution but can only find a reference which suggests that the problem has something to do with Evolution, (the file handler, not Darwin's theory). Any suggestions? Cheers Ian

Sometimes it happens that an input field on a page in an IFRAME cannot be clicked. The buttons work, but you can't enter anything in the text field.

Only when I press in the address bar and then in the text field, now I can enter text in the text field.

Using TBird 15.10.1 64-bit on my Windows 10 desktop system, I find under Tools | Address Book a down arrow to the left of Personal Address Book; clicking on it displays all my created address lists, which are available when I compose a message to send.

I just got my PC back from the shop. It's the best LG Gram laptop they had with Windows 11, and it's 1-yr old. Much on it was corrupted and I'm having to reload many items, one being my Firefox. It wouldn't open up. I did the right-click on my mouse and hit the OPEN selection. Firefox still wouldn't open up. I reloaded Firefox hoping that it would correct whatever may be wrong. No, it still won't open up. I'm reaching you now via TOR. My TOR was also reinstalled, but it is able to open up. Can you think of what I may have done wrong? [I'm unable to check the option-email me when someone answers my thread {this email must be a thread}, but this will be fine.] Please note that I am so NOT tech-savvy, I don't even have any smart/mobile/cell phone. Just a plain old phone. (I should add I'm in my 70's, ill, and in a Nursing Home.) I looked through your troubleshooting sugggestions, but they are too fancy for me to understand. I'm not sure how this works, but I sure do hope you can offer some suggestions as to what I can try. Thanks so very much for your time and consideration of this matter. It's very much appreciated.

I access Outlook through Firefox. I added the site to my home screen to login faster. After proceeding through the login screen and accessing my email, I have a blank permanent bar on the top of my screen (where the website controls exist when the quick app starts up). My screen is shifted down from this bar, with elements no longer appearing at the bottom of my screen (calendar, etc). Buttons on the bottom of the screen no longer appear (they are cut off). I want my screen to not be cut off on the bottom. As an aside, the bar on the top of the screen is annoyingly thick whether it's loaded or not.
