I was trying out the sync option. I was using my laptop and android. Got it working fine with the regular Firefox. But decided I wanted to stay with Fitefox beta. So I turned off sync and uninstalled regular Firefox from my android. And then I go to my laptop, yep, all my bookmarks are gone. I guess when I took it of my phone it also deleted it from my laptop. I've gone to library, to deleted, reinstalled the regular Firefox on my phone and synced back with my laptop. Nadda. Any ideas?

Hello guys, I've recently began using firefox on android. Upon opening a new tab, firefox automatically opens the search bar, and I'm just wondering if there's an option or a dev flag to disable that. I'd rather be looking at my original new tab page.

The biggest problem I have with Firefox on android is this problem. After reopening Firefox it commonly (but not always) forgets where I was and jumps to the top of the page (or the anchor point). I can only get back to where I was if I manage to glimpse it before it jumps and then use find in page.

Seems to be fine if Firefox has closed since it was last open because several times it finds its place after that, but then I switch apps and come back soon after and it suddenly jumps.

This is the main reason I gave up on Firefox last time I tried to use it, until Chrome started becoming unresponsive on pages more and more frequently.

I Have gone thru absolutely every menu setting visible in FF for Android... and there has been no current findable answer provided in the forums. What's the deal? This should be easy. If it's just no longer an option, please say so. There's Nothing under "Enhance Tracking Protection" whether OFF or "standard"; Nothing under "Customization"; Nothing under "Private Browsing"; Nothing under "HTTPS ONLY" -- Not when enabled or Disabled; Nothing under "Site Permissions"; Nothing under "Exceptions". When I select a text from any website there is no option to search privately (unless you're already in private mode). Having Firefox Focus installed makes the option appear but it opens the link there aka in a different app, it would be a lot better if you need have to install another app and yes I know i can just do it manually by copying the text, switch to private mode, pasting and then finally searching. It would save you 3 taps. (The images are with the Firefox Focus app uninstalled, I can provide more with it being installed and how it works.)

Need to prevent a neighbor from syncing their phone to my phone an robbing my PayPal an I'm Haveing to put my email back in when I need to use my Phone. Why haven't Firefox developers provided a method to automatically sort bookmarks alphabetically for Android users? It's been years since any progress on this issue. Your Android users should not be ignored!!! Is there a problem with Google? Vesa2789

i can't don't remember seeing them logo page before but maybe it's new.. just thought I'd bring it up. Same on my other devices too, beta or stable , didn't matter.
