Hello,

I keep trying to use my plug in USB security key on bofa.com (for my Bank of America account log in MFA), but it keeps asking for a challenge phrase. I don't have any idea what this is. Can you help?

The request that pops up says:

'Making Sure It's You'

Please sign into "bankofamerica.com".

This request comes from the app "firefox.exe" by Mozilla Corporation.

Then has a blank line to enter 'Challenge Phrase'

• • I have no idea what this is. I do not recall setting up a "Challenge Phrase" on Windows or Firefox browser. Can you help me with this PLEASE?! I don't know what else to do!

I have tried several times to remove the security completely and re-add to the bofa.com website, I have tried to reset the security key itself back to factory.

When I opened Firefox on my desktop this morning, there were tabs open that I did not open. The websites in those tabs were not ones that I had gone to on this computer either. The websites are ones that I visited on my Android phone. I synched the devices yesterday, I think - the process was confusing.

Ill get straight to the point, I literally cant write an @in Firefox, im currently writing this prom another program, that i had uninstalled and know reinstalled.

I live in Germany and my keyboard layout is installed as such, my keyboard itself is american basically the keyboards are not all lined up properly, the letters are correct but symbols arent, for me thats not a problem i know where everything is and know how to help myself if not.

on a German Keyboard you usually make an @ with command + Q. According to akko gear ( the keyboard company) its command +F2##

what actually works is Command + Windows + Q

This works every where but in firefox.

here is all ive done to fix it myself: -deleted all browser data + cache -seit it back to factory mode(dunno if this is the right translation) - uninstalled and reinstalled it

nothing works..

please advice me on how to fix this

In Firefox I get:

   File not found
   Firefox can’t find the file at https://the_url_in_question.
   Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
   Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.            

Same file called seconds apart. Please note: this is NOT a 404 error. The file is there: if I fix the error on line 747, the PHP Notice goes away and FF loads the page correctly.

Every time I open my Firefox browser another one pops up. In other words, two Firefox browsers open up at about the same time forcing me to delete one. What changes do I need to make to ensure I only open one browser?

My computer crashed. I was not able to get into it at all. I also couldn't open windows and the computer could not diagnose or repair itself. The repair guy was able to get my personal files from the hard drive. However he could not get my stored passwords from Firefox. How can I get them back? I don't think he can get them from the crashed hard drive. I did have a master password.

I'm at a total loss to explain that this has solved itself. I did nothing. I had given up in frustration. Then I clicked a short cut on the desktop [Firefox is my default browser] and the page opened. Then I checked using the address bar within Firefox and it now works. I've no idea why.

So the main problem [below] is resolved. Now I just need to sync Firefox on Windows11 with Firefox on Android [and not the other way around]. Hope there's a web page to explain on which device I should click on "sync".

This can probably be archived but I'm not sure I know how to do that.

RE: Firefox 128.0.3 64-bit running on: Edition Windows 11 Home Version 23H2 OS build 22631.3880 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1020.0 Avast for antivirus but with no Avast firewall installed. I use the basic Windows Defender as firewall.

I had problems with the address bar. At attempt to reinstall Firefox ended up corrupting it. I had no option except to delete Frefox and do a fresh install. That is complete. I tried to search from the address bar and it does not work. I also tried using shortuts on the New Tab page and none work. In all cases, the browser attempts to to find the address but never actually gets to anywhere. Other browsers all work. I opened Firefox in Safe Mode and the address bar works fine.

I have no idea what to do next to resolve this. The internet offers no help; what it tells me to do does,'t match what I see on my screen.

I am having trouble with firefox. I have had to take it out and checked before and after and I have no malware only when I reinstall firefox. I am getting malware alert, trojan alert and this is what it says viauxnhdjpg8pbp5kcontrolrushprotocol.co in and via uxncqiqb4xx73dkdotonet workspeedchain.coin. They are all mozilla firefox alerts. I do no work on my computer only listen to music, check my email and facebook. Can any one help.

When I try to start Firefox, the following dialog box appears:

XUL Runner Error: Platform version 128.0.3 not compatible with minVersion >= 128.0 maxVersion <= 128.0

Clicking the OK button closes the attempt to start Firefox.

Do I need to reinstall the latest version? If I do, will all my info be saved? Jan

A few minutes ago I could play Bubble shooter pro and other Facebook games. But now I see a black screen with a message these games are no longer supported. There is no way I am installing another web browser. Will this issue ever be fixed?

HELP! I am currently using Thunderbird ver 115.13.0 and Mac OS 14.5 Sonoma and a 2018 Apple MacBook Pro 15 inch laptop. I have recently noticed that incoming emails with colored text responses included in the email response is not visible, i.e. the text response is completely missing. In addition when trying to reply to an email with a colored text response - the text is not showing up in any color except black. This is extremely frustrating. I have been using Thunderbird for over 15 years and am seriously considering moving to another email client. Any ideas?

1st I have a website that asks me to put in my password.... when I do it brings me back to the same page.....but if I do it in a private window it works fine.....so thats on you | 2nd I have a website that lists estatesales near me..... when I load it it never fully loads just times out...this is since the update you just did today to my firefox
