I lost power today and when I had it restored, had a message that the Firefox versions were incompatible (I think it got interrupted during an update. Anyway, no internet access through Firefox, so I deleted Firefox thinking I could reinstall and all might be good. So far, not so good...

I was able to Google my way to install the extended release version of Firefox for dinosaurs but I lost all of my bookmarks. Is there a way to get this back? I would hate to start over finding the places I visit and also recalling old spreadsheets, documents, etc....

Any help would be appreciated.

Why does a website (communityapps.com) open and function in Firefox and also Safari on my Macbook Pro (2020) but gives only a blank page in Firefox (loading OK in Safari) on my iMac (2021) both with current & identical OS and Firefox versions? (I don't want to use Safari.)

When searching with Firefox, I am forwarded to a Captcha using Google search. I am not required if searching from chrome. Why the difference and how do I use Firefox and avoid the Captcha requirement?

I went to my local streaming platform Videoland (It's like netflix, a paid platform to watch series) And it's telling me the video can't play because my browser version is too old and I need to update it.

Of course, I checked and, well... my firefox is up to date. What could be the problem?

When I attempt to search something and expect a redirect to my search engine or try to access a site that autocompletes in the address bar (for example, typing drive, autocompleting to drive.google.com, then clicking Enter to go to Google Drive), sometimes the website does not load after pressing Enter, and it is as if the search/address input did not go through after pressing Enter.

This seems to be an issue that has been occurring only over the past few months. What may be the issue, and how may I resolve this?

this needs to be able to be disabled. I cannot view my reports on medicare.gov due to this security measure. Help and forums are not helpful.... It says just open in a new window, but if you do that, you have to log in and then it is not a new window, and will not open. Now I have to go another browser which irritates me to no end because I have used firefox always. There are many sites that have embedded information and reports that I would like to see, but cannot and they are perfestly SAFE. NOT ok firefox.

Yesterdays update of Thunderbird seems to have crashed my Thunderbird and all it's saved info. How do I restore it and I searched my hard drive and can't locate the .exe file?

One of the Firefox profiles does not save logins and passwords, but other profiles of the browser at that same computer have not that problem. How can I solve this problem ?

After 129.0 update hulu streaming quit working. I have other streaming services that still work fine. I tried it on older version of firefox 115.14.0esr (64bit) (old pc microsoft 8.1) and it works fine there. Can i go back to an older version of firefox or is this a known issue with update?

 This is the issue, Hulu website loads and allows you to log in. When you try to stream a show it plays commercial then freezes.

I have a new computer ... I like using Firefox as a browser but continue to have issues logging into Facebook...I have opted to use Chrome as I do not have issues using it.. When is Mozilla/Firefox going to address this issue & finally fix it??

What is wrong and how do I correct it?

As noted by others about recently-prior versions of Firefox, version 129 ALSO fails to play videos (on Amazon Prime) at HD even though other browsers, Chrome and Edge as examples, work perfectly well. This problem MAY have started with a fairly recent version of Firefox (like 127 or 128). See the post right here by another user, earlier Firefox version, with the EXACT same problem:

Been an issue for a while now. I try to start a YouTube video, and it spins and spins forever, maybe only loading the first 15 seconds before finally crashing the player. Twitch and other video service websites work perfectly fine. Tried a different browser, again worked perfectly fine. I erased all cookies, relogged in and tried, and it seemed to work for a little while, but then it eventually went right back to the way it was. Tried repeating the process, just deleting all YouTube cookies every time I wanted to watch something, and while it worked occasionally it was very inconsistent and obviously very annoying to have to do. Tried disabling ad and malware blockers, as well as all my other extensions, no dice. Needless to say, I'm stumped. Any clues..?

i have a problem when trying to open a web page called nakos.no, but because of somthing called nginx it wont open.

How do i fix it?
