As a longtime user of Firefox, I had a nice setup where after the start page, clicking on the Firefox icon would take me to a page headed "Firefox" in large letters. On that page I had placed the icons for my frequently used programs. Each of the small "icon boxes" had menus that would allow entering a URL so that when clicked, the desired app would open. I was exploring MS Bing, mostly because I like the pictures they put up each day. It looks as though a "new Improved" version of Bing brings along the new MS AI component. Together they seem to have removed my Firefox setup or hidden it where I can't retrieve it. By using Firefox settings, I was able to remove the Bing URL. Good riddance!, but can I retrieve my page of links to most-used programs? I don't know where to look for that. If I have to reconstruct it, how is that done. Or how can I start a replacement. After the last FF update, I can only connect to FF ... no other website! I did a system restore to an earlier date which seemed to make it worse. Absolutely zero content appears on any website I choose to go to. The tab shows the name of the website, however it doesn't "connect."

Please help me rectify this challenge. Thank you.

I would like to review a listing of all the extensions recommended by Mozilla for FF. One would think a list exists somewhere. But my searching for recommended extensions have not yielded the anticipated results. I found an article on the recommended extension program, but no list. If the answer is obvious, forgive me, but I didn't see it.

Did FireFox just officially do an Enhancer for YouTube...I got this on my Firefox screen. List 'what's new' and asks for donation...don't mind donating but is this a scam message or is it from FireFox?

Downloading MP3 files or Epub books using the Overdrive libraries' website API no longer works since the Firefox 115.120esr update.

For audiobooks, it appears to work normally at first, downloading an ODM file which can be opened to display a list of all the part files waiting to be downloaded. Taking the [Open] option within the Overdrive Media Console, the process fails, with this message: "A connection to the Internet could not be established. Please check your Internet connection; you must be connected to the Internet to proceed with this download."

For Epub books, it appears to work normally at first, downloading an acsm file, but then, when the open option on the file is selected the Adobe Digital Editions app, presents this message: "Connection Error Detected—Digital Editions could not connect to the fulfillment server. Please make sure you are connected to the internet."

So it seems that not too much was broken. Have I provided enough information for you to know what's broken & how to fix it?

Dzień dobry, Po pierwsze chciałbym zapytać co mogło się wydarzyć- kilka dni temu po próbie otworzenia przeglądarki wyskoczył jakiś błąd, przez co musiałem zainstalować przeglądarkę jeszcze raz. Efektem tego jest usunięcie wszystkich zakładek i ustawień. Jeśli jest taka możliwość to prosiłbym o poradę w jaki sposób mógłbym przywrócić wcześniejsze ustawienia. Zacząłem ponownie dostosowywać przeglądarkę i napotkałem problem, a mianowicie po zainstalowaniu rozszerzenie nie pokazuje się on na górnym pasku jak miało to miejsce wcześniej. Jeśli nie ma możliwości przywrócenia wcześniejszych ustawień i zakładek to proszę o pomoc w dodaniu rozszerzenia do paska.

I lost my Outlook365 with the latest Windows 10 update. When I reinstalled I went through the preferences to select Firefox as my default browser. I have been using this for years and every time I picked a link in an Email it would open a new tab in my existing browser.

Now, regardless of anything I try it continues to open an new Firefox browser, with pages included since this started on the weekend.

What settings am I needing to make to correct this. I have gone through the config settings and selected 0 in the browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction with no success.

I have a desktop computer. I use Firefox as my browser. I've been playing the Marapets game for years. As of 2 days ago, I can't "buy" items in the Marapets.com game site. I can play the rest of the game, but cannot buy items. If I go to Chrome, I can buy items. I am told the BUY button is linked to CAPTCHA, but I don't know what that means. Would you be able to help me so I can continue to use Firefox for this game?

It worked well yesterday and then it updated to 127.0.1 and now i can not open it. I get XUL Runner not compatible. It is on a windows 10 computer.

All my information bookmarks and passwords, but I have no way to get to them, uninstalled and reinstalled, but the new one doesn't look like the old version, and none of my information is there. I have tried copying the profile folder from and pasting it in the folder. but still nothing. I have it set as default, but the new one wants to be default, so when I go to make it my default I have 2 Firefox to choose from along with chrome, and edge.

My other problem is I have been using Firefox for probably 20 plus years, so there is a lot of saved stuff, but not sure what my previous user name and log in was. I have downloaded and older version and of course i updated also. I have a Firefox that works now, but not the one with all of my information.

Sorry if this makes no sense, no really sure how to explain it differently.

Can some one please help me figure out how to get all my bookmarks and passwords back?

I have looked into settings but found no solution to this issue. Web search results are completely irrelevant to this issue as well. Haven't been able to find a fix for this.

I went to the trouble shooting site after asking my question about Thunderbird. It was suggested that running two firefox clean ups was a good idea. Now my ribbon thread is not present. I have to jump through hoops to find bookmarks, etc. This makes all navigation difficult. Is there a way to get the old data on the page in the old form? The data folder is on my desk top. I feel stupid because the trouble shooting site said all would be saved. How and where?

So I just downloaded Firefox update and it wiped out all my open tabs ... very very inconvenient for me! Been using firefox for a long time and that never happened before. Some warning would have been nice.

I use my local ISP for email service and tech support chk'd and there are no current issues with their email service. When Bitwarden is turned on and I open an email, none of the text in the reading panel of the email will show up. The "subject" header is readable, along with the words 'from' and 'to', but no text after them. The entire reading pane where the email text should be is blank. As soon as I turn Bitwarden off, I read read ALL the email text...??!!

After Firefox updated to v127 YouTube videos stopped working for me. They work fine on Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. Considering this only started happening with the latest update and the fact that YouTube videos work fine on other browsers the problem I feel has to be somewhere in Firefox. When I try to play a video I get the white circle going around in the center of the screen and the video does not play.

Need to know why this problem of Firefox (on Linux) suddenly arose. When attempting to make audio or video calls it responds with, Does not work on Firefox browser. Yet it continues to work with about half my contacts.

My Firefox is the most recent version 126. I am having trouble with pop-ups being blocked. I have added the website to the pop-up exception list. When I go to the site, it shows me the little icon showing I have added exceptions for this site. However; the pop-up still gets blocked.

The site is: https://www.foxit.com/ I try clicking the Log In drop down then Foxit Account. Before this would pop-up the log in screen for the site but since version 125, it does not. I just updated to version 126 to see if that resolved it before creating this post but it didn't. Thus I am here trying to get help.
