I have designed a site for a client and whether on line or off, none of the links work in Firefox Browsers...If I click the open in IE Tab they work fine. When I use other browsers that have engine option they work fin in Trident or WebKit engines, but not in Gecko engine. This is the only site I am having issues with!!! Please get back to me ASAP, she is using FF and not happy with what is going on!

The site is in XHTML with CSS3 styling (Validated), http://www.disabilityadvocacy.ca/

I have this same set up on my site (http://www.halent.ca) which works fine as well as my custom home page on my system!

I'm not seeing any difference between Firefox and Google Chrome.

Which of the links aren't working on that page?

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot.

It would be best to leave the cursor at the default if that image isn't working instead of defaulting to pointer.

#mainH { cursor:url(images/dtccs.ani),default; }

Firefox can't handle such an animated favicon file (Google Chrome either).

COR-EL - I Thank You for your input, even though it does nothing to address my situation it is good information for someone!

The link highlight fine in Firefox, but if you click them...NOTHING HAPPENS! A screen shot will do nothing for this issue since there is nothing to see, becuase nothing happens!

As for the assumption that I do not know how or what a screen shot is, I find offensive! The issue is the links themselves do not go through, not the ico or ani files. As well the favicon.ico is not an issue for any browser and the cursor file (dtccs.ani) was added after the fact for IE or Trident Engine browsers (if you read my code I did set the default of "pointer"...{which is the correct CSS formatting})

You shouldn't take the addition of such extra links personally.
A lot of forum visitors and possibly new contributors read these threads and may appreciate extra information.
I'm sure that if you search for something on internet that you've gotten results that left questions open.
If you update to newer Windows versions then you may not instantly know that it has build-in means link the snipping tool.

What I meant is that I'm not sure about which links aren't working for you and that some extra information to clarify this would help to see if I can replicate this. Precise (STR) steps to repeat an issue are the best way to get things fixed.

You can right-click the links and open the inspector to see if that helps to identify the problem.

Current Firefox versions have a lot of web developer tools build-in.

Again this is wonderful information, yet still does not address the full issue at hand.

Only in Firefox or Gecko Engine Builds do the links become non-clickable. They Highlight and the Hand Cursor appears, but when I click...nothing. The issue has never come up before with any of my sites, I have used this template on many sites both on and off line with no troubles at all.

I'm on Linux, so I can't check the page with IE to see if that works differently from Firefox.

You will have to give an example which link(s) aren't working on that page.
All links in the menu on the left work for me and show the URL at the bottom of the Firefox window on hover as usual.

It is hard to tell what links are because you override the default cursor.

Sorry to say Cor-el but you seem a bit thick here, have you tried to actually click the links??? Since you can not explore the possibilities of other browsers, maybe you need to leave this alone.

I feel you have issue with my cursor which has nothing to do with the links working or not, so get off that kick.

I will say this one more time only "NONE OF THE LINKS CLICK THROUGH!", they work in all regards except actually opening the linked page.

the problem is within your TextSelect.js - if you block the loading/execution of this file everything works...

Thank You madperson, I commented it out and works fine!

Do you or any one know of a fix that may still allow me to do the "No Text Select"?

It is quite easily to bypass such a block of the right-click context menu in Firefox via the JavaScript Settings in Options (Disable or replace context menus) and if you do this quickly then that alert gets a check box to disable further alerts.

Cor-el do you actually read these before responding??

It was the "Text Select" not the "Right Click" block we are talking about...the .js for that was my problem and now I want to know how to do that in Firefox!

How did you become a moderator on here???
