Hello, I recently replaced my old PC with new desktop running WIN 11. Although I am able to receive Outlook email. However, when I attempt to send mail from my Outlook address I receive an error message: "Unable to authenticate Outgoing server smtp.office365.com..." The smtp settings are attached. Firewall - Windows firewall Antivirus - MS Defender Antivirus OS - Win 11 v 23H2 Thunderbird - 129.0.1

Does Comcast email have a different password from the main password?

Since update to ver 128.1.0esr the "new subfolder" feature does not work (does not show window to name new folder). I have many subfolders and I rely on them heavily. I tried restarting Thunderbird, then Windows. I ran in debug mode with no success. I downloaded and installed 128.2.0esr again. No change.

Is it possible to go back to the earlier version? Which is? Thanks, Frederick

I can get the messages on my phone for that account if I access them I don't use Thunderbird. I'm getting message that certificate if not valid. I did the trouble shooting for Thunderbird and cleared the cache. Can you please help? I downloaded the trouble shooting file if needed.

I'm trying to import local mail folders from PostBox v3.0.8 into Thunderbird. I first tried the included Import Tool and selected "Import from another Thunderbird instal… (citește mai mult)

I'm trying to import local mail folders from PostBox v3.0.8 into Thunderbird.

I first tried the included Import Tool and selected "Import from another Thunderbird installation" since PostBox is a fork of Thunderbird and supposedly very compatible. This seemed to go fine and all folders with the exact same numbers of messages were imported and the headers looked fine. However, when I open any message, it is completely empty (not even the from, to, subject fields are shown, just a white window).

I then just manually copied the Postbox mail folders directly into the Thunderbird folder. This also seemed to go fine (as above) but also, all messages were empty.

How can I import the messages correctly?

Returned realized the Mistake and corrected the adress. ›ow, every time I want to write a Mail to the recepient I am offered both adresses. I Allready deleted the wrong spelling from my Contacts-App, but still ... I tried "search adress", but there I do find only the correct one.

What can I do to delete the adress I don't want to confuse me any longer? Thank you for your help!

Apart from my main email address, I also have a Gmail address. Recently I stopped receiving and cannot send any emails from that gmail address. I keep receiving a pop-up window every10 minutes asking me to update my gmail parameters. The links given in that pop-up window lead nowhere. I followed instructions given in "Automatic conversion of Google mail accounts to Oauth 2.0 authentication" but the problem subsists. I deleted a work account (hosted on google) and I keep getting pop-ups from Oauth to authenticate it. Looking at the troubleshooting information while it is not in the mail and news accounts list it does show up as an account.

Also, looking at the profile directories I seem to also see possible accounts that were deleted a long time ago but still straggling around.

How can I resolve this?

I can't send e-mails to anyone with a "att.net" or "sbcglobal.net" they all come back as not deliverable!

I sent out "1" e-mail to "169 clients" and 31 came back as not deliverable, they ended in either, "att.net" or "sbcglobal.net" e-mail address's. So I resent "31" indivi… (citește mai mult)

I sent out "1" e-mail to "169 clients" and 31 came back as not deliverable, they ended in either, "att.net" or "sbcglobal.net" e-mail address's.

So I resent "31" individually e-mails back out, 1 at a time", and it took longer for them to come back, but they ALL came back, as not deliverable AGAIN! they all ended in "att.net" or "sbcglobal.net".

In case you are wondering: I been in business since 2003 and have sent out alerts to my customers as needed, and I have NEVER encountered this problem before! I did send it out using my "Hotmail webpage account", and it sent and hasn't come back yet. So it seems its a Thunderbird issue? Thanks in advance for any help you can be to resolve this issue for me. I been using Thunderbird e-mail Program for as long as I can remember.
